Perfect! I can't believe no one has ever written anything like this before! My stress and Anxiety about saving money are gone and I feel really good about doing everything that I learned. It doesn't take very long to read and I think I will be able to use the info right away! My friends and family members are going to buy it (I hope)! I hope everyone takes advantage of this thing!

Many will probably notice the similarity to "Development as Freedom," the book by '98 Nobel laureate Amartya Sen. Prof. Dasgupta has a very definite philosophical structure to analysing well-being and destitution, and he never loses sight of that. Both Sen and Dasgupta pay a lot of attention to analysing the moral principles of rights and how these can be used to understand well-being. However, I greatly prefer this book to Sen's, because Sen's is a series of lectures and this is a cohesive, well-connected book (545 pp.).

From the principles of rights, and their role in well-being, Dasgupta branches out to the whole universe of development in a refreshingly calm, non-ideological way. Moreover, the bibliography in this book is very good: if you are following the notes in the text, D. points the way to a wide range of intelectual opportunities.

Excellent overview of the tax consequences of investment decisions. Can't imagine an investor not getting some new insight into investment taxes after reading this book. Occasional citing of Federal Tax Law gets a little sticky, but does not detract from its overall value. A must read for novice and experienced investors.

No other book dares to when the subject is income tax. If you think goverment was on your side, this book will awake you up! It shows how americans have been fouled for a very long time.

An excellent supplement to JK Lasser's Your Income Tax 2003. Not only does it inform about the latest tax law changes, but predicts the likely changes in the recent future. Examples and charts demonstrate how best to utilize changes for maximum tax savings. One to keep next to your calculator.

I have purchased this book each year for the last 15-20 years. It is awesome.
