The most remarkable business book in the worldThere is a reason why only a few people produce most of the wealth in the world. It's because the majority of people have no interest in taking charge of their future. They keep waiting around for someone else to do it for them. They're content to take what comes, good or bad -- to be victims of chance and to accept other people's ideas of what's good for them.
Nobody has introduced me to more fascinating, and more profitable, business opportunities than Adam Starchild.

The Best Financial Advice You Could Ever Get!!!!This is the only time that I've been excited about a financial book or in this case audio tape program. It is full of fun ancient stories that are as relevant today as they were 5,000 years ago. If you read no other book on money and finances read or listen to this one.

The Right Price: How to Pay for Medical School and Feel Good About It

An Informative Tool on Paying for Med SchoolAfter having done much searching during my four years as a pre-med student, I was unable to find a book whose subject matter solely targeted the high cost of medical school. Finally, as I prepare to enter medical school, I've stumbled upon Christine Wiebe's book, How to Pay for Medical School and Feel Good About It. It is obvious Wiebe has had much experience in the field of medical education. She not only describes the traditional path of paying for medical school, which puts most students into a large amount of debt, but also explores numerous alternatives to financing a medical education. The book does not just revolve around sheer numbers, however. Wiebe also incorporates the realities of a medical student's pressured lifestyle into her work, thus showing how financing a medical education fits into the big picture. It is also concise and simple to read. Overall, I highly recommend this book as a tool for anyone who is seriously considering a career in medicine.

How to find out the truth about a Business's healthAre you the kind of investor that relies solely on an Annual Report to make your decisions? You better watch out. An Annual Report usually only provides a rosy picture which in the end is meant to highlight a CEO and his team's performance. The authors' underlying thesis is that neither the Profit & Loss Statement nor the Balance Sheet provide enough information to find out if a Business is healthy. In order to find out the truth, a Cash Flow analysis is a must, after all, Cash Flow is a Business's blood. The book provides examples on how to do it. The first chapters are easy to read, but the last ones require advanced Accounting knowledge.

Author UpdateThis book was written as a working tool for people with a basic understanding of managing cash, goal setting and taking steps to attain these goals. The intention was to direct and motivate readers to begin the journey on the road much less travelled to optimize their wealth over their lifetime. I tried to keep each key point very focused. The book was formatted to be used, written on and readily referred to---similar to a TV Guide. Since its publishing several details are a bit dated but the fundamental aspects remain time proven. Although dozens of personal finance books are written every year, including one written by Suze Orman with the same title, the action plan recommended in Chapter 3 has still not been expanded upon by any author. The key to serious long term wealth buiding rests with adopting the "net worth mix principle." Look for a planned revised update of the original The Road to Wealth in Spring 2003.

Every nonprofit needs this bookTwo of the nonprofit associations I work with have been struggling with QuickBooks for years - now the struggle is over. QuickBooks is the only affordable software for small organizations, but what we spend on accountant's fees to interpret and straighten out the QuickBooks reports is probably more than high-cost software would have cost. With this book, we learned how to adapt QuickBooks so it works much better for nonprofit associations. The information we can get is amazing, we never before had such a clear understanding of our finances, and our sources of donations.
This book is so clearly written, and so filled with information about "how to do it right", that it should be a required purchase for every small nonprofit association that's formed.
Blessings on Kathy Ivens for this treasure of a book!

A great resource for accountantsThis book is filled with information that's practical and useful. As an accountant supporting Quickbooks clients running various editions of the software, I turn to this book all the time. All the tips about managing the various editions of Quickbooks are amazing. Learning how to create customized import files to send to clients has made supporting Quickbooks so much easier. There's information in this book I've tried to get from Intuit for years, but never could.
