I use this textbook for my Financial Markets class and I learn so much from it. Fabozzi does a wonderful job of transfering his ideas to students so they can comprehend them and learn. Because of this book, I will definately get an 'A' in my class. I recommend this book to anybody.

"Fraud on the High Seas" is a wonderful first effort by new author A. Gwinnell. It has all the elements of a good read; in-depth character development, fast paced and highly lucid. The reader is propelled, along with the book's hero, Harry McDowell, into "peeling the onion" of the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a oil supertanker. The book's locales range from Florida to London, Paris, Greece and Bermuda. The places cited in the book are genuine and may well be familiar to the well-traveled reader. Having just finished "The DaVinci Code"(yes, I was the last person on the planet to read it), I found "Fraud on the High Seas" to be a similarly satisfying and fast-paced mystery novel. Highly recommended. I await author Gwinnell's next effort.

Miller reminds us that the subject of money--whether stewardship, the concept of tithing, or simply plain old money--comes up often in the Bible. He scours all portions of the Bible to show us what the Bible actually says about money and how it impacts our spiritual and temporal lives.

His book is not a survey and it is not a concordance. It does not deal with every mention of money in the Bible; but Miller helps us examine the way that we relate to the use of money and the purpose of our money. This small book helps us to examine our relationship with God and our relationship with money. It is the sort of no-frills and attentive book that Miller, a church consultant, is known for writing. Good to have someone offering a commonsense examination of the Bible's teaching on money.

This text was VERY helpful. The illustrations and examples were enough to explain the topic without havung to read the entire book.. Also the problems given at the end of each section were very good. Some were tough; however, the author starts you out with easy problems and works up to the more difficult ones. This text definitely is a good learning aid.

I personally look back at the book for referance as how to calculate figures for projects that are coming up at work. I thought that the book had more valuable information in it, that was needed in the everyday of finance. It is worth more keeping the book than selling it. If you asked me what the "Net Present Value" was on this book. I estimated $1201.75 after I expensed the book from my cost of making a decision on whether to, or not to engaging in a project using the "Cost of Capital" method in chapter 10. And, because of it I made more money for myself.

This is a great book to entertain kids. My four kids love the activities and loved telling their friends the jokes and tricks they learned. Great gift, too!

in a country that says we are free there is certainly a qualification that goes with that claim. WATCH YOUR BACK! should be added to that claim of freedom. The assistance you offer in doing just that I know will be very well received.
