The video gives a lot of really useful information on more than just how to pick a stock or mutual fund. The seminar teachs you How to Invest and How to Plan for financial goals. Tony's story is one of amazement. Here was a guy on top of his game in the body building world,and gets smashed by a school bus,sits in a seat soaked with acid,kicked in the groin by a horse. Anybody who goes thru this would just cry. Why me why me. So did Tony. But he got it together. Didnt let it bring him down. Got new ideas and was able to conceive believe and achieve. If you are a small contractor using Quickbooks Pro 2001 or any other version, then this book is for you. In addition to teaching you how to set up your books correctly, it also includes a CD with National Estimator and Job Cost Wizard. These two programs let you create detailed estimates and export them to Quickbooks so that you do not have to retype them saving you hours of time. It's a bargain!

Jess Lederman, one of the editors of this book, has written or edited many books on mortgage banking, markets and interest rate risk - he is simply the most-informed writer on the subject, and if this is your area of interest I recommend you pick up anything he's been involved with and read it.

Very good introductory book. Lots of examples, with funny names for the companies. It gives an international perspective, but mostly focused on the EU. I attended Tim Sutton's lectures at the IESE business school, and the book helped me understand accounting from a nule previous knowledge on the field.

This book is ideal for managers of internationally oriented businesses who want to get a grip of the financial accounting statements produced by accountants and auditors.

The positive message that the authors send out is that accounting is not that difficult. This book is clear in its structure and language. The reader is gently taken by the hand and shown how to dissect any financial report, whatever its underlying accounting methods.

Readers have to be aware that because of its international perspective, the prime focus is on analysis and not on writing a financial statement.
