This book, which includes many charts on the major commodity markets, is a gem to market technicians. I found it to be extemely helpful in comparing price movements in the past, to today. Ironically, one will find that history can be your key to unlocking the markets future; from a chartists point of view. After reading a book called "How To Make The Stock Market Make Money For You" by Ted Warren. I realized the importance of reviewing the past. I highly recommend this book.

This book is worth the price if only for the paper by Ed Green, which has, with a slight delay, spawned a huge literature in dynamic contract theory. Chapters V and VI, by Townsend and Wallace and Beveniste, will also be looked back upon as neglected early work. Jacklin's paper was quite important as well.

This is a highly readable discussion of the 33 and 34 act requirements of the SEC as they apply to accountants. I think it is essential reading for any Controller/ CFO or independent accountant about to perform work for and SEC registrant or private company about to file an s1.

This is the best study i have ever read on corruption. As the authors systematicly examine the corruption in Italy, they provide very useful insights for the causes and consequences of corruption in general.(Social, political and economic). It is full of striking empirical examples and stories from the Italian businesses and govermental agencies. this book is both for the academist and normal reader. if you are working on a project on corruption, or just want to learn more about the resons of heavy corruption in developing and underdeveloped countries, this book is a must.

A surperb intorduction to the stock market, mutual funds & bonds including a very concise history of the U.S. Stock markets. Geared to the totally new investor, it even covers some advanced subjects like options and money management in very understandable ways. My favorite book to recommend when someone asks "how do I get started?"

Armed with this book and a copy of 'Inside MAPI' you can begin to unlock the insides of Microsoft Exchange. The book helps to clarify what is an extremely complicated and convoluted system. Without both of these books, any attempts at writing MAPI and Exchange applications is almost certain to fail.
