This compendium of Orbital Debris Research certainly represents the state of the art in the field. From FAQs for the non-specialist to Gabbard Diagrams in the 'Break-up Book' for the hard core orbital debris junkie, this collection has something for everyone. The animations are particularly helpful for those with limited experience visualizing orbital dynamics.

We at NASA were happy to do the work and we are impressed that it is commercially available. Of course, it is also available free of charge at the NASA orbital debris website.

Only a lack of plot keeps this work from getting a 5-star rating.

James Kohen has written a very well researched and easy to read book that gets to the heart of what different aboriginal impacts were. There are no bold faced statements, nor a piece of propoganda, he gives the reader the facts but also weaves a good story. When he the evidence is not clear he tells us too.
If you are interested in this area, then this is a great way to encounter this material

It was a joy to read a medical mystery by the incomparable Ms. Aird. She is a "dab hand" at all types of mysteries, and in this book she turns her attention to an English medical thriller. As with all her books, this one is sharp, clear and concise. Her sense of humour and her excellent mastery of the English language are both apparent in this book. The book is about a series of medical deaths (not that surprising since the patients were elderly and quite sick), but then one of the doctor's is found murdered. Sloan and Crosby follow a whole bunch of sub plots and threads before they can unmask the killer, but before they do that more people seem to die. This is a lively and intelligent book.

This book has all the imformation i needed all in one book.

This is a terrific litle book about a much under-celebrated British special effects technician. Anyone interested in the history of special effects or the wider British film industry in general would learn much from this book. It would be of particular interest to Bond fans as Luxford was responsible for many of the famous gadgets seen in the earlier films.

This book was extreamly helpful in my reaseach of Alcohol Tolerance. Every question that I could think of was alread answered, in plain english!

Once I had this book borrowed from a local library. It is an extensive alphabetical list of alkaloids containing a brief chemical, physical and pharmaceutical info under each alkaloid name. (Eg. melting points of the substance and its salts, solubilities, crystallisation, angles of rotation of polarised light, effects on ingestion, occurence in nature, etc.). Anyone with an interest in plant substances will find it interesting. The copy I have seen was printed in 1947 in New York, so today it may be a little out of date.

Alkaloids have diverse biological activities and offer a rich source for development of new therapeutic agents.

This book provides a valuable addition to your anesthesia library. It compliments many of the standard anesthesia texts available by providing a more in-depth review of common anesthetic complications.

Dr. Silbert has compiled chapters from contibuting authors, who like himself are all experts in the field of contact lenses and anterior ocular segment disease. Each chapter begins with a case study in SOAP format and then proceeds to analyze point by point each aspect of the case under discussion. The learning process is incredibly enhanced by pages of color and black and white photos which bring alive the topics in the text.

This volume is clearly a valuable investment for every serious contact lens clinician, medical library, and teaching clinic.
