Mouthwatering User Friendly Recipes
This is a perfect cookbook! Not only are the recipes mouthwateringly delicious, they are simple and easy to prepare. The ingredient lists are fairly short and readily available at the neighborhood market. Many of the dishes take under 20 minutes to prepare.

Beyond the recipes themselves, the book contains some great reference information. There's a terrific illustrated guide to peppers, a glossary of mexican spices, and helpful hints for general cooking are scattered throughout the book.

This is an amazing value! If you're interested in low fat / high flavor cooking snap this one up!

Tasty, easy to follow recipes. Readily available ingredients
I have several low-fat mexican cookbooks and find myself using this one the most. Their recipes for corn bread, beans and soup are great.

Poka Yoke is Not Magic, just a whole bunch of common sense
I am an engineer and this book provides and excellent source of eary to read pictures and case studies. This is a must have for anyone who must take care of the details of Lean, or JIT.

Process improvements for goof-proofing assy and fabrication
This books provides extensive examples of jigs, fixtures and procedures to prevent errors during assy and fab of parts and subassemblies. The simplicity of the solutions is quite amazing. This is not a theoretical, academic discussion. The best part of the book, comprising 240 pages, are real world examples. Each case is presented with a problem statement and sketches of the before and after conditions. Be aware that the vast majority of discussion is towards PROCESS changes, not DESIGN changes. This is where I have some disappointment, as I am involved in design features for quality improvements (DFX). Several of the examples show issues that SHOULD have been addressed in the design and never have reached the factory. In my opinion a clever fixture is second choice to a design that eliminates the need. To that end, a classic example of a design change is given on p171. Process fixes such as the majority of the ideas presented in this book are nonetheless valuable and should be considered as "thought generators" to inspire factory personnel at all levels to look for opportunities for simple, low cost and effective solutions to current problems. This book will not sit unused on a shelf!

MUST HAVE BOOK FOR HAYLEY MILLS FANS
As far as I know this is the only book that Hayley has helped to compile. She thought it would be very interesting to ask many people from various cultures their views on God and the Life Hereafter. There has probably never been a better time to understand each other's religious beliefs.

Second Stages In Researching Welsh Ancestry

Required reading for Welsh ancestral research
An outstanding book which takes up with more advanced ideas and techniques where their previous "Welsh Family History : A Guide to Research" left off. The book's chapters are on various subjects and have been contributed by the instructors of University of Wales, Aberystwyth courses on family history research in Wales. Topics such as religion, industrialization, and surnames are all dealt with from a genealogical research point-of-view. This is one of those books which you stay up late reading and mark up heavily with Post It notes for later reference. I've long been a fan of the Rowlands and their work such as their book "The Surnames of Wales".

The FTAA process
This is one of the first comprehensive volumes that explains the process of the Free Trade Area of the Americas. Through fifteen chapters, this book offers the reader the necessary tools to understand what is happening and what might happen in the Western Hemisphere from an economic perspective. The structure of the book is highly comprehensive as so are the vast majority of the chapters. Highly recommended!

Cypress Swamps
Published in Paperback by University Press of Florida (February, 2001)
Authors: Katherine Carter Ewel, Howard T. Odum, and Eds Katherine C. Ewel &. Howar
Amazon base price: $59.95

The definitive book on Swamps!
Of all the books I've ever read about swamps, this one is the finest.

In total, I've read 0 books on swamps but, take my word. This one is one to remember. Mark my words and spank me.

Comprehensive and Groundbreaking
This book was one of the initial efforts at understanding entire ecosystems and their current and potential role in the increasingly human landscape. Wastewater treatment is covered at length, but even further, effort is made to put these ecosystems into a regional perspective. Their value is discussed at many scales This book is an excellent example of ecological study, and a must read for anyone in the field. p.s. Dr. Odum is not the photographer. He and Dr. Ewel co-edited the volume, and he provides the closing remarks about cypress swamps using a whole-systems perspective.

Contemporary Californian poetry
This collection offers a glimpse of what goes on at the Beyond Baroque poetry evening, one of LA's best-known poetry workshops. The poems it contains cover a number of styles and subjects, from the erotic to the amusing, and this variety means you're likely to find something that appeals to you whatever your taste. I was pleased to see that the volume contained four prose pieces from Ron Bloom, which for me were the highlight of the collection. I also particularly enjoyed pieces by Ruth Wire, Sarah Maclay, and a poem on pain/death by Jessica Pompei.

If you've read many of LA's literary magazines you'll probably know some of these authors; if not, you'll discover new voices you'll want to hear more from. This is a volume worth exploring.

Simple means for great impact
This colletion of essays proves that it does not take the most sophisticated and thus most expensive means (i.e. software tools) to dramatically enhance language learning classrooms. A simple "chat"-like online-programm is enough to overcome the obstacles of decades maybe centuries of foreign language learning, provided is is appropirately used by language teachers. Focussing on "extended discourse" among students , a didactical aim that is seldomly achieved in regular high-school classes, be it in the U.S or in my home country, Germany, this book gives the theoretical foundation as well as concrete advise how to achieve this. A bonus for language teachers: Suggestions for marking scales for this brand new, yet unexplored way of language teaching.
