Not so powerful networking
The book is a shallow summary of common-sense techniques that have applicability only for retail -type selling and networking. Some useful suggestions, but anybody seriously into networking would probably think of them by him/herself. I returned my copy. Not worth the money.

A Lightweight
This book is a lightweight. There isn't much that isn't already covered by the technical analysis classics. If this was the only book I read, I would not feel comfortable playing with real money, with only the knowledge contained in this book. If you really want to learn technical analysis, you can't go wrong with the classics: John Murphy's "Technical Analysis of the Futures Market" and Martin Pring's "Technical Analysis Explained"

More an Ideological Exercise than Serious Research
I was disappointed in the book, the author clearly just picked and chose references from other works on the impact of the Indonesian crisis that suit his purposes. I find it hard to believe that we could apply the findings from his fieldwork in the two rural Java villages in other Indonesian villages like what he had suggested, since Indonesia is an archipelago with 18,000 islands and 300+ tribes/ethnic groups that are very diverse. I also wonder whether he really writes up the report based on the interviews he had with the people in the villages or just filled it up with his own opinions and ideology, since I find that throughout the book that he could not get "satisfactory" and "definite" conclusions from his interviews with the people in the field so he decided to use his judgements to form conclusions about a given problem. Finally, I did not see any quotes from his field notes, a very crucial part in any anthropological research, this clearly left me more to conclude that the book is more based on his ideology than in a well-conducted research. There are a few good points about the book, like on the conditions of Indonesian migrant workers and the failure of the social safety net program (nothing new because other researchers have also concurred on this), this is why I give it a two star instead of just one, but the book is clearly not worth the money I spent on it.

Learn ACT!2000 NOT for the advanced user
The cover says that this is a book for advanced users. How come they spend 21 pages on installing the software. Do you know an advanced user who needs 21 pages to install a piece of software?

In the section about modifing templates they fail to mention that there is hidden text at the beginning of the document that if deleted will cause you document not to be added to your history tab.

This is a beginners book.

Why I picture a car salesman
Unless you want to read an infomercial on the author's other books and products, do not waste your money on this book. The content is non-substantive and goes into very little detail on "how to build zero cash into 7 figures." Hicks gives anecdotal examples of how people who read his books had huge success in real estate throughout the book. I got very tired of the condescending tone of the book and every section seems to start with "If you follow my process, my good friend, Ty Hicks will make you a success." I would've never thought this, but, my good friend, I couldn't wait to go back to reading Kiyosaki's Rich Dad series.

Another..
of this guys shameless seminar/newsletter sales pieces. Really just a rehash of his other junk. He's constantly trying to sell you his other crap. Nothing new in this.

Lack of information, I didn't find what I was looking, how to calculate KANBAN.

An absolute farce of a review on Toyota
This book failed to capture the essence behind the workings of Toyota. Whether it was through poor research or a simple lack of understanding this book should be avoided at all costs.

Wake me up when it's over........
What happened?.....I opened this book, read the first chapter, and woke up 7 years later with a very impressive beard. While it is inevitable that books of this type are unlikely to be a thrilling roller-coaster ride, Mr Rosenthal has succeeded in sterilizing the sterile, neutering the neutered, and creating possibly the least interesting work since "A Brief History of Toilet Roll Holders," and the follow-up opus, "A Toilet Roll Holding History of Briefs." Read this book only in emergencies, when you are concerned that your life is just way too enjoyable.
