I can't believe I wasted that much money for such a boring book

Dava Lee Russell is a wonderful author (and teacher), I highly reccommend this book to anyone.

This one book has three wonderful books full of mystery and wonder. I could not put it down. You have to get this book.

Another collection of three fear streets from rl stine. these three books are really good, and i've read them over and over and over !!!!. RL stine always finds a way to keep his readers in suspense. I'd advise you buy this, cause the three books in this collection are really good. If i didn't already own it, i'd buy it ! (but i already have it, so.....). 5 Stars for all three books. Buy this one ! it's great !

This captivating but controversial novel gives the reader a shocking look behind the scenes at Brendon Falls Bible Church, as it describes the love-hate, hide-'n-seek romance between Pastor Jim Shanley and young Rebecca Reinhardt--they are finally able to follow their hearts, but with unexpected and drastic consequences. The heart-gripping, sexually charged nature of the story blew me away a few times--I never saw writing so explicit from a minister--yet as a disenchanted evangelical, I found the story to be most authentic and compelling, especially how it relates to being in love outside the rules, which I think probably happens to most of us at some point in our life, whether we admit it or not, whether we're into church or not. True love never seems to fit, and this book develops the clash of heart versus expected behavior in a truly artistic and powerful manner. This is one of the best books I've ever read. It was even better than THE THORNBIRDS which deals with the same theme.

I would reccomend this book to anyone in search of the truth. I believe that all accounts of miracles are accurate and a witness to the workings of the Holy Spirit in Contemporary times.

The book shows the struggle of many Christians to achieve a walk with God and although I reccomend it highly, as by it contents shows the need for an individual receiving the Holy Spirit in order to be led in perfect truth. Like any book, it's interpretation should be by the Holy Spirit, but the witness to that is firm.

I would reccomend it to any level of Christin who is opening himself to the truth and to skeptics who want direction in how to learn the truth.

The Holy Spirit has blessed me in my second reading of it, as much as I think He blessed me on the first.

To The publishers, I would say reprint and spread, God always blesses a pure heart with true seed.

Follow a man as long as God tells you, for a time comes to follow God Himself. We need the Holy Spirit, for Jesus Christ is Lord and The Holy Spirit is His Gift to hearts that turn to Him from the devices of man.

God truly blessed me in my reading, and in my opinion, I can see very little reason for Him not blessing anyone else.

"The First Electric Road" is a short history of the electric tramway which ran between Doncaster and Box Hill between 1889 and 1895. (Doncaster and Box Hill are now part of suburban Melbourne, Australia). This was the first electric tramway in the southern hemisphere. The book is well written and researched. It is liberally illustrated with photograpghs and contains several maps. The book is an essential item for anyone who is interested in the tramways of the greatest tramway city in the English speaking world. Even though I live in New York, I refer to the NYC addition weekly. On a visit to DC, I found it in some cases to be easier to use and read than those of AAA. The book format is also handy to carry around while strolling DC's neighborhoods.

I am a third year law student at Arizona State University and I checked this book out of the library for a paper I was writing. I found that this book was well written and a good book for a person with little or no experience with drugs. I am planning on going into criminal law and have been looking for more information on drugs and drug use. This is a good book for the inexperienced parent, criminal lawyer, or anyone else looking for information on drugs, their effects, and how they are used. The book also contains interesting historical information about drug use. It is not too technical and is pleasant to read.

This is definitely a book for the fans.

At first, I wasn't going to bother to order this until the price came down, or I just wasn't excited enough. I don't know what I was thinking. Plus, being an American Manics fan, it wasn't exactly easy to find here...and our pub. date kept getting pushed back...yadda yadda yadda.

After reading reviews of the book, and seeing some of the photos previewed, I gave in. I'm glad I did. It's beautiful.

These are photos taken by longtime photographer and friend-of-the-band Mitch Ikeda. It's a tribute to his incredible competence and artistic sense that he manages to make every moment caught on film as epic as the band itself. From the first shot of the band, through Richey's disappearance, to the current Manic Street Preachers, Mitch manages to capture James, Nicky, Sean, and Richey as friends, family members, musicians, and--most importantly--as human beings. As for Richey himself, he is shown in his lighter moments (puppet!), as well as his increasingly darker and haunted moments. It proves that he wasn't always moping about as popular mythology (and Simon Price's book) has it.

Not only do you have the photos to tell the story, but most of them have captions from the bandmembers...touching, funny, telling.

Grab a bottle of your favorite spirits, put on the appropriate music, get comfortable, and open this book. You'll find it difficult to put it down.
