Covers it all for the "Do it yourself" reader
Very informative, great diagrams and impressive photographs. This engine book starts by covering the reliable slant 6 and progresses to cover small blocks, big blocks and the mighty Hemi. Oil systems, block and bore sizes, camshafts, gear valves and crankshafts are also included in this extensive engine book. I highly recommend this book to anyone attempting any Chrysler engine work on their own. This book nicely complements Adkin's previous book "Chrysler Performance Upgrades".

How To Build High Performance Chrysler Engines
I found this book to be extremely informative and helpful. From Slant Sixes to small blocks, Magnums, big blocks, and Hemis, this book covers it all. Lots of information and photos packed into one book. Engine history and parts interchangeability as well as parts selection. Lots of food for thought! Not too basic, but many complex theories are broken down and made easy to understand. If you've ever thought about building a Mopar engine, you should read this book!

Ignorance is Risk
This book opened my eyes tremendously about the stock and investment industry. Personally I loved the book I thought it was one of the best books I've read on investing and personal finance just as every entrepreneur needs to read the E-myth every investor needs to read Ignorance is risk I feel this book kicks down the door of securities industry's lies and schemes and I feel I'm a much wiser and better investor for reading this book.

ignorance is stupid!
When I first started investing I thought I was paying someone to look over my stocks and use his special expertise to optimize my return. Now I know I was just paying salesmen to exploit my ignorance to sell me what was profitable to them. This book validates what my personal experience and observations told me. I will never fall for such exploitation again. This book will, I hope, help others to wise up to the con game. Charles Lambert

The Life and Ministry of William J. Seymour: And a History of the Azusa Street Revival

Everybody Needs To Know About William J. Seymour
Bishop Seymour, a humble son of slaves, is one of the people most mightly used by God in Christian history. Larry Martin tells his story with skill and with passion. This book is powerful. From Azusa the Pentecostal revival, led by Bishop Seymour has spread to 500 million people.

What were Seymour's secrets. Humility, passion, holiness, love for people across racial lines.

Larry Martin begins with Seymour's birth and childhood and vividly protrays his treatment as a black person. Yet Seymour rose beyond racial cruelty and hate--and embraced and spread the unconditional love of God. See for yourself. You've got to read this book.

From Glenn Gohr -- Flower Pentecostal Heritage Center
Having read through this manuscript when in its formative stages, I highly recommend this book to anyone who is researching the Pentecostal Movement or the Azusa Street Revival of Los Angeles that began in the spring of 1906. It is also a good sourcebook for those interested in Black History as William Seymour figures prominently among African-Americans of the 20th Century. Larry Martin has done an excellent job in ferreting out little known facts about William J. Seymour, the leader of the Azusa Street Revival. He has also uncovered information regarding Seymour's family and his early life in Louisiana and other places he traveled before arriving in Los Angeles in 1906. Some of the background information he gives regarding everyday life in Southern Louisiana and in Los Angeles near the turn of the century are essential to the understanding of William J. Seymour and the role he played in the Black Community and in the beginnings of the Pentecostal movement. Having contacted a number of different religious and local archives, looking through old newspapers, census records, city directories, and the like, Dr. Martin has a clear understanding of who William J. Seymour was. This is the most complete biography of William J. Seymour which has been written to date. When combined with his reflections and documentation of the famed Azusa Street Revival, this makes an excellent backdrop for understanding the Pentecostal movement and current revivalism around the globe.

Not your typical diary
This little book/diary was very interesting. And I might add original. Even the cover is in itself eyecatching.
At the start of the book, it has it's special parts to fill out stuff about you, your family, etc.
Then it starts off. It goes on a month by month basis, starting with January and ending with December. For each month it starts out with a bit from a popular Fear Street book, and that would be the focus for each month. Each included things like quizzes about youself, quizzes about Fear Street characters, fun activities, and much more, and of course places to write your thoughts, feelings, secrets, etc.
For example, on one part, you write down secrets about you and others, then there's instructions where to fold the page up halfway and then tape it so that "no one will find them".
This book is a definite recommend for anyone into the Fear Street books or who just likes something a little on the scary side. Like I said, interesting and original to the fullest.

So cool
This book was so cool. I defenitly recommend it espically if your into fortune telling and of course Fear street.

"Music City Blues" puts a remarkable face behind the badge..
If you've ever wondered what it's really like to be a cop, "Music City Blues" provides the answer. From domestic disputes, DUI's, high-speed police pursuits and prostitution stings, the reader is introduced to a side of law enforcement not often seen by the public. Police can be both gruesome and glorious, and it's these moments of soul-wrenching tragedies and fist-pumping triumphs that bring the book to life.

A realistic overview of the ins and outs of being a cop.
I found this to be a very revealing insight into the life of police officers. Not being involved in law enforcement myself, I found it exciting and interesting to be "on the inside". The author has combined humor and tragedy to create an easy reading, informational story you are sure to enjoy.

The best description of Southern society and culture.
John Faulkner succeeded capturing the South better than any author I have read. I grew up near his location and in a family with the same moral and cultural values of his. His family could have been mine. If you want to travel to the South that used to be, that our families helped build after the Civil War and before Korea this is the best way I know to do it. His frugal use of words and his short sentences only add to the authenticity of his descriptions. For those of us from there he brings to life,as none other, what used to be and is to never be again.

Classic, you don't know Faulkner until you've read this book
A wonderful stylist, John tells the intimate story of the Faulkner family that no biographer or academic could. You simply don't know Faulkner until you've read this book.
