A great book. The name says it all

This book is the most excellent book I have ever read in TQM. The book's foreword is written by Quality Guru Armand V. Feigenbaum. Also, this book is highly praised by all quality gurus including Philip B. Crosby, Genichi Taguchi, and J.D. Power III. The authors explained how an effective quality systems to be implemented in any size of organization. This book is for any types of industry, not only for automotive. Every case study featured in the book is also reviewed by the renowned faculty from HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL and MIT's SLOAN MANAGEMENT SCHOOL. I highly recommend this book without any reservation.

'Amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics'. _Race to the Front_ exemplifies this and is an outstanding resource for both scholars and those interested in the war, logistics and/or coalition warfare in general. It contains an exceptional wealth of data and will likely become one of THE references on World War I. Although not necessarily a work for beginners, for the serious scholar or student of these subjects, one simply cannot ignore this book. Stubbs combines a long military career with a strong academic background, producing the rare, indispensable study. If/when I teach an upper division or graduate class on the war, this will be one of my textbooks. I cannot recommend this work more strongly.

This book is the first in the field to base an analysis of strategy on the materiel foundations that undergird each coalition's capability to wage war. The book uses newly discovered German Military Archives, which includes all of the planning documents for the German 1918 offensives.

The book is divided into four parts. Part One deals with how each coalition organized and used its people for both the army and on the home front. Part 2 deals with economic activity, how each coalition manufactured their war materiel, as well as how they maintained civilian economic production. Part three examines transportation, how each coalition organized its transportation resources to sustain their armies in the field, and the home front. With this information firmly established, Part four then examines the strategic evolution of the Great War. Based on this analysis, I conclude that France and Britain competed against the United States, and Germany to determine who would win the war, and thus control the shape of post war Europe. The United States dominated the Entente and defeated Germany in the final three months of the war, but the Entente muted American dominance by diverting the AEF into the Meuse-Argonne. Had they allowed Pershing to fight the St Mihiel campaign as originally planned the war would have ended in September with a decivise American Victory that would have changed the Post war settlement--perhaps even preventing World War II.

Well it is a very good game and should be updated to build any where in sandbox mode and blah bla blah blah

Railroad Tycoon II is extremely flexible. At one level you can play it as an exciting multi-user game with robbers robbing trains, trains blowing apart and ruthless AI opponents. At another level you can read through the book and understand much more about how the game was built and its capabilities. You can control the speed of play, I use the slowest speed and even then I find it too fast when running over 300 trains in the UK at the same time. For me using the book, RailRoad Tycoon II Official strategy guide and the game together meant learning about the map editor so I could customise other people's maps and make my favourite map of England much more accurate to play. The game itself becomes much more interesting as you deal with more levels of complexity. You can even eliminate the AI opponents and robbers. Introduce new events and generally create your own world.

The game shows its North American roots. My background being English is very different, nowhere in England is more than 50 miles from the sea. Fishing and ports are much more important. My personal wish list would be to add different types of ports and a fish cargo to the game.

But to enjoy the game to the full you really need the Official Strategy Guide. Is it likely to have a harmful effect. Don't know. I have spent many hours playing the game, I have even learnt a bit of geography whilst playing it, I now know roughly where a few places like Denver and Frankfurt are. Also I can tell you exactly where the mountain ranges that are going to slow down trains are as well. It also gives an introduction to economics, how resources interact with cites and manufacturing plants.

Warwick has been raising by mail for years. This easy to read book offers charts, graphs, and systematic approaches to this successful, albeit investment-heavy, form of fund raising. This is an excellent book to get started or to review systems already in place.

I have seen him speak and then got this book. It is very entertaining but most of all it addresses the subject very methodically. Every reader will recognize the mediocre and unmoving writing that he is fixing and cleaning and transforming. If you are new to fund raising and need a primer on writing the annual letter (often the only fund raising small organizations do) look no further. The Expression "he wrote the book..." may just have been coined to describe this.

I used the basic approach he advocates and turned a dismal campaign around 180 degrees: from break even/loss to real money from a very tired (of the organization) list.

As a reading teacher I found this book to be very helpful in teaching strategies such as comprehension, vocabulary, fluency. . . BUT I think that this book is MUCH more VALUABLE to a content teacher. It shows you how to introduce reading skills for text books. Often, content teachers do not know why a student isn't succeeding in his/her class. Often it is because the student cannot read the text book. This book will show you how to introduce strategies so that your students will do well in your class! This is for ALL secondary teachers!

it was a very god book. I could not believe what i was reading! everything was in there a full guide but i suggest that u get it if u have it for other systems besided N64 because most characters are not on the n64 version of it, ull get the most use outta it. SO it was good, but WHAT ARE THE MOVES FOR MR.President!!!!!! im dying to know!!!!!!

I think this book is really helpful for a cheater like me. It is very specific about the certan topics that I need to now about. I finnly beat the game in arcade mode to get rumble man. He is the best boxer. Over all it is a very good tip book. and I would encoureg any body that wants to beat the game to buy this game.

This book takes the process of learning to write and makes it fun for students. The idea of placing learning to write within the framework of a sports metaphor works for this book aimed at middle schoolers. Looking back on my own experience with learning how to write, I really wish these lessons had been around; my teachers and classmates would have applauded.

The choice of quotations and occasional poetry weave together in sure grace the many rich strands of this significant how-to offering.

I loved the blend of presonal and professional in the writing. I feel challenged to be more aware and mindful that all my professional interactions are opportunities for soulful connections in addition to whatever else is needed. Michaelson's book is thorough, well written and amply illustrated with pertinent examples. The book is quite timely in this day of corporate collapse and I rate it as a must read for not only businessmen but B-school students as well.
