I really liked this book because it really helped me in beating the game. So it's a good book to pick up for those who have the game Jade Cocoon for those of you who are stuck in the middle of the game.

the book was very halpfull it tol me were to get beter weapons and stronger minions and who or what to use against the diferent bosses

The style or this writer is honest and practical. She provides minimal, easy bite size chunks of info that hit home ... helping you put one foot in front of the other confidently and with a natural inherent sense of success ... no matter how the day's "battle" turns out ... because you've practiced a good side of yourself.

I borrowed this book from the Library, but will buy it with my first pay check (I just got my job today) just for the chance that some of its authentic attitudes will rub off on me as I pursue the art of making successful contributions in my workplace.

I tell of all my job seekers to read Claudia Jordans book. I run an intransition support group for marketing and advertising job seekers. Her book is on the must read list. It gives the job seeker great ideas and tips to make thier job searches easier. Very understandable advice.

JIT is not only modular manufacturing and flow sequence. Kenneth displays the true hart of JIT not only in the company but relating it to the customers and suppliers

Ken Wantuck's " Just In Time for America" provides one of the simplest explanations of how all of the Modern Manufacturing Practices fit together. While the term Just In Time has recently gained a bad reputation. The ideas expressed in this book are still valid today. This is the book for the people who will actually implement change on the shop floor. Anyone with even basic english skills will be able to comprehend the topics discussed, while those with advanced degrees will find a practical tool to assist them in training. Give this book to your employees to read. Wantuck has included clear graphics and pictures of plants where his actual process improvements have been implemented.

Steve Zaloga does an amazing job discussing a very diverse subject that covers the entire Cold War period between the US and USSR. He not only describes the Kremlin's nuclear weapons technology, but he delivers a history of the politics that inspired the development and deployment of the weapons. Zaloga's style is smooth and keeps the reader interested in the topic, and he manages to keep the reader from being bored while covering the often-times mundane details. I would highly recommend this book for use withing a graduate level history course.

Zaloga has done a masterful job of describing the internal politics that kept the Soviet program from achieving maximum efficiency in their arms race with the USA. Still, one has to admire the dogged determination the Soviets showed in this pursuit. He also updates the reader on the decrepit state of the post-Soviet arsenal today. That is even scarier than the past flirtation with Armageddon.

A comprehensive review on aphasia. Moreover, it could be called the "Aphasia Bible".

This a must read for anyone studying Adult Aphasia

If it says IN Fisherman on it, Buy it! They produce some of the best books and videos on freshwater fishing. Period! Full of current, scientific, and practical advice on the species you are after. If you don't learn from this book, then you probably helped write it.

Largemouth Bass in the 1990's by In-Fisherman Magazine is another fine reference for the avid or occasional bass fisherman. Along with excellent information on every aspect of bass angling the book speaks to history, philosophy, and management of America's bass resources. Bass behavior and locales are expertly outlined. All kinds of lures and techniques for their use are thoroughly discussed as well as rods and reels that make a complete bass fishing package. This book has outstanding photos and illustrations that clarify and enhance the subjects covered. If you bass fish or intend to begin this would be a number one choice.

Our company recently hosted a presentation from David Peterson, one of the authors of Leader as Coach. His audience was a small group of HR managers and Training consultants. He provided us with a no nonsense, credible approach to coaching managers and leaders. The title of his presentation was quite true to that title, providing us with a clear vision of the state of the art and insights into the state of the practice.

David and Mary Dee's book, Leader as Coach, is the foundation for one of the clearest and most well-reasoned approaches to Coaching I have seen after a decade in this business. This book has been both inspirational and motivational for me. I love the quotes and have used them when sending memos to people involved in my Masters active research project. The few colorful pictures are beautiful and representative of reaching high for the stars. The texture of the paper used is similar to a magazine's. I almost felt I was reading one, which felt more like leisure reading. The book is short, easy to read, and to the point. I've taken much of the advise while I've engaged as a leader in my project. I've made efforts to become a better listener, give positive feedback, inspire people to take risks, and built a bond of trust. I learned that I have to model the good habits I'd like others to practice. The strategies suggested are a must for people in the business world and adminstrators or leaders in education. The book is practical for anyone who assumes a leadership role and does not know how to begin the process. Thumbs up!

This book should be required reading for anyone in management, or aspiring to a management position.
The book outlines common-sense rules for suceeding during volatile times, but sadly common sense is often lacking in the real world. The authors describe strategies for creating organizations with committed cultures, partnering with customers, practical problem-solving and effective communication. The authors use of case studies from very different types of companies, from FedEx to non-profit hospitals, effectively illustrates how principles from this book can be applied to any organization.
Following the principles in this book would help to create a more effective organization and a more positive work life for both managers and staff.

It seems evident that Pat Wyman has poured her heart, her soul, and her 25 years experience teaching kids how to learn, into this book. I found the story about her own son, JP, at the beginning of the book particularly relevant. As the parent of a 16 year old son who has his own unique style of learning, I know how difficult it is for kids being subjected to the cookie-cutter style of testing and teaching at public schools. If your kid is a bit different, or a lot different, in the way he or she learns, and is struggling academically as a result, this book is a must read. When the author speaks about how all children, even those who are not doing well at school, have their own unique gifts and talents, I find myself saying a resounding "Yes!" Let's acknowledge these kids for the beautiful beings they are. This book is filled with practical tools and techniques for helping them express that beauty in the form of greater academic success and better grades. What more could a parent ask for?

Have you ever been concerned that your child is not doing well in school due to their test results? Yet, in your heart, you know that your child is intelligent and has the ability to be a good student. Well, in Pat Wyman's book "Learning vs. Testing" you will come to understand that it's not your child, but the methods by which your child is tested that may be at fault. Not all childen process information in the same manner. In Ms. Wyman's book, she discusses the neurological ways that different children learn. Most importantly, she offers solutions that will significantly help students raise their test scores. And let's face it...test scores are what measure the success of our children--what determines their grades--and most of all determines their self-esteem and ability to succeed in getting into the college of their choice. It all begins with understanding student's learning styles, and this book is the key to this "up until now" challenge. I have applied Ms. Wyman's solutions to the children in our own family, and we are already seeing better test scores and higher self esteem.

The average kid is not going to enjoy this book. Too many long, wordy chapters, too few diagrams and pictures. I was very disappointed in this book.

No book covers the game of hockey as clearly and entertainingly. The book is organized in question and answer format which makes it easy to understand and to quickly reference any fact "on the fly". Kids' Book of Hockey is definitely not just for kids - I've been a hockey fan for over 10 years and am amazed at how much this book has taught me. Thanks to this book, I now (finally) know everything that's going on when I watch a game.
