Every parent should read this book. It's an easy read format that help guide you to set common sense values in your child.
Judge Hatchett uses her own life expereinces to reiterate the importance of parenting - the sacrefices and love that are so important.

She tells how important it is to listen to you children and how important it is to set clear positive directives. In additon,give positive reenforcement and don't be afraid to discipline when needed. Let your child know that there are consequences for their actions no matter how large or small.

Unfortunately by the time a child is appearing in her court room it is clear that there is a problem. In some cases, it coould be a lack respect, an inability of enpathy and/or no love of a higher power. Without these tools- you have an empty soul. An empty soul doesn't know the first thing about love of self and others. They merely exist in a vaccum of pain and misery.

Solution: We must look beyond the immediate and search for the "why" of that situation and how we help bring this empty soul around to become a more productive than destructive person.

I read this book during a troubling time I was having with my child. It gave me a different perspective on the situation and help me to better understanding of how to fix the damage.

This should be a required reading for all.

This books was marvelous. I just finished reading it last night
and I recommened that every parent get a copy read it first then
let your son or daughter read it also. That is what I am doing

This book affords significant attention to the trauma of sibling abuse. Until this impressive work by Caffaro and Conn-Caffaro, we have not paid enough attention to sibling relationships in our research and practice on family violence and child abuse and neglect. The authors bring considerable insight and clinical experience to the issue of sibling abuse. This book will enhance practitioner's knowledge of sibling abuse dynamics and treatment strategies and makes a contribution to the entire field by encouraging a broader discussion of the life-span developmental impact of sibling abuse.

Over the last two decades, there has been a proliferation of research and writing on child maltreatment. Debates have ensued over children's memory, suggestibility, and truthfulness. Research has mushroomed on child sexual abuse and child abuse and neglect. There has even been focus on the perpetrator and the nonoffending parent. One area, however, has almost consistently been ignored: the area of sibling abuse. This book is a welcome and required addition to our developing literature on abuse.

Nicely integrates theory, research, and the considerable clinical experience of its two authors. It is written with a healthy and complex appreciation of broader issues in the field of family violence and family therapy and gives a great deal of thought-provoking case material for those interested in understanding more about sibling abuse dynamics and its potential treatment strategies.

I was introduced to this book by the co-ordinator of out patient services as a book that she thought highly of in working with adolescents. A chronically mentally ill client from my program was seeing her outpatient for counseling and she thought the book may work well in assisting the client with social skills. On an individual basis it worked very well with the client. We decided to start a group within our program to see how it would work with other chronically mentally ill clients and it has worked extremely well.

A super book for working with socially challenged youth. High risk kids often get into trouble because they don't possess appropriate social skills, and they are not motivated to practice positive skills. They simply don't see the value. All to often their innappropriate skills have been rewarded in life. This book prepares teachers and adolescent group leaders to develop missing social skills in a step by step well thought out and research proven manner. The book also prepares the leader with great stratagies for recognizing and dealing with trainee/client resistance. Of course in your group you will not experience this. If you really want results and not just feel good discussions with kids this material is state of the art. Highly recommended!

I came across this book while working with a group of middle school students who were lacking social skills. This book provides step by step social skills information directed at the specific deficiencies. I am looking forward to continuing to work with the information I have gathered from reading this book.

If it says IN Fisherman on it, Buy it! They produce some of the best books and videos on freshwater fishing. Period! Full of current, scientific, and practical advice on the species you are after. If you don't learn from this book, then you probably helped write it.

It is difficult to describe how much higher Crappie Wisdom (as well as the other In-Fisherman titles) stands compared to other fishing books I've read. The practical, scientific approach to angling presented here cannot help but make a better fisherman of anyone who reads it. A "thinking man's" sports book.

This book by In-fishermen is a classic like all others. They give detailed information and new secrets to catching more fish. If you are a crappie fanatic buy this book!

I didn't know the half of what I was missing until I read this book! You have to believe me! You think you know how to catch trout? Yea, so did I, until I read this book! It was extremely eye opening!
I can't wait until I am able to unleash the full power of this technique even more this spring. I expect my yearly total to at least double if not triple!
I never endorse these types of things. I never use feedback, comments, etc... I just had to this time for my fellow fisherman. Guys, you got to trust me. I fish all over the conutry, and haven't seen anything like this.

This book is outstanding. It is clear and concise yet offers everything you need to know about catching trout on spinners. The book even helped save me good $ when I went to buy my equipment. I highly recommend this book for any experienced or inexperienced spinner fisherman (or fisherwoman or fisherchild).

I received the book as a gift and it was great. Having kids and going fishing is the all time best...and this book helped me seem like a pro. All Dads need to catch a fish and if your kids pull it off all the better. This was simple to read! I highly recommend it!

This is a great guide if you want nothing left to do by yourself. It provides great walkthroughs and maps of levels and also special item locations. Get this if you are stuck on a level or if you want a step by step guide to each level. Do not get this if you would prefer to leave some of the levels to yourself.

The ST: Armada strategy guide includes some great information on winning from the point of view of each race in the game.

This is better than the publisher's strategy guide for Star Trek: Birth of the Federation. In addition to providing details on how to play the game, it also provides information on the actual missions of the game and also hints to successfully complete each mission.

Staying Power is a must read for anyone who plans to acheve success. As a high school marketing teacher, I have applied many conecpts to my own life and shared them with my students.The book brings some very important "success-based" concepts that are not normaly taught, unless by the "school of hard knocks." The book is easy to read, unlike most books of its kind. I highly recomend it.

This is a great book. Have you ever wondered why some colleagues carreers seem to be blessed. They seemingly can do no wrong. They seem to have spectacular rises. Moving from one promotion to the next, seemingly effortlessly. When they do encounter obstacles and setbacks or seem stymied, they some how mangage to sidestep it or often it turns to their advantage. These executives seem invincible. Is it just dumb luck or is there something at work here? Tom Schweich has some answers. Continuing in vein of his earlier books Tom has taken things a step further. He has gone out and interviewed some of the most successful people of our time and distilled the essence of their successes. Like his other books though he has plenty of war stories from mainstream business world. What I liek about htis book, though is that it does go outside the corporate world. He interview some exotics. There are rock divas and politicians. It's great reading, enjoyable, and written in a clear organised style that you may be familiar with in his previous books. You don't need to be an executive to enjoy and benefit form this book. There are enough universal principles expounded for anyone.
A very timely book for the difficult economic times we're headed into.

Having been an instructor at the U.S. Army Field Artillery School and searching for information on artillery tactics and the origin of current doctrine, this book was enlightening and contains information that is very relevant to today's combat arms officer. I highly recommend the book as professional reading material. The book contains many lessons learned that will no doubt have to be relearned once again in time of war. Lt Col Zabecki has done the combat arms officer a favor by taking the time to compile the information for this book then to lay it all out in a comprehensible and enjoyable format. If you are interested in warfighting, you will enjoy this book. All my lieutenants will read this book, answer questions formatted by me, and write a review. Btry R, 5th Bn, 10th Marines.

This book discusses Colonel Bruchmuller of the Imperial German Army and his role in developing modern artillery practices and tactics. By the time you finish this book you'll see how artillery went from guesswork to a deadly science. Highly recommended, whether you are a military buff or a professional soldier.

The author of this excellent work is the former commander of the 2-123 FA. In this book he covers the birth of modern field artillery and its father -- COL Georg Bruchmuller. The author covers not only the history of the evolution of artillery from a direct fire weapon through the universal adoption of MET+VE; but also, the fire support tactics and techniques for employing the weapon. COL Bruchmuller started out the war as a medically retired LTC. He ended up as the de-facto FSCOORD for the German Army. Under his direction the German artillery developed MET+VE, the FDC, and the short, violent, multi-phased preparation. Bruchmuller orchestrated four to six hour preps that accomplished what one and two week preps by the allies couldn't -- breakthroughs. Bruchmuller's tactics and techniques are still in use by most of the world's armies today. The Russian fire support doctrine reads very closely to Bruchmuller's. This book is a quick read and is a must read for all artillerymen
