If you're working in the big company/corporation, you have to read this book. This is just masterpiece!

This book is a gem. It is full of sarcasm and real-life-annoyance. You can tell that the author was writing this book as a healing process for all of the years he was "stuck" fighting the corporate monster. The illustrations were wonderful and really brought the book into a visual light. I think that anyone who has ever had a job, whether it's office, factory, restaurant, etc., will be able to relate to this book. As much as we'd like to deny it, this book is the real thing. It might be a little embellished for entertainment value, but the observations are true and they are pure Corporate Lunacy.

This is a "must read" for anyone in corporate America and, for sure, those considering entering the corporate world. Honest and a real eye opener -- some things we all knew, but never believed! RA McMillan gives you the facts in a style whick makes you chuckle! The illustrations are great! Hope there is a sequel - will be sure to read!

I feel that this book has been the most outstanding work ever done in the financial services sector. I recommend this highly especially for people involved in the financial services business. I have used this book immensely in my business too. My heartiest congratulations to all the four authors of this book. I look forward to another book from them in the future.

This book saved my life during my ICU rotation. It is an essential book for the critical care unit. It contains admitting orders and things that you need to think about for all of the common pediatric complaints and it fits easily in a lab coat pocket. I can't live without mine.

This is a handy little book that fits into a lab coat pocket. It keeps the treatment modalities for most common situaitons at your fingertips, and also has templates for how to write an admission note, how to write a discharge summary, how to write a delivery note, common dosages of common meds, etc. This is wonderful for midwifery students, residents, and PA students who are just learning the proper format for charting and need to double-check drug dosages and what to do next if the pap test comes back LSIL.

I carried this in my back pocket for my 2 months of L&D as an FP Intern, and found the information invaluable. Gives all the essential information and treatment guidelines you need, in a size that is easy to keep on hand. Highly recommend.

Well, I can't accuse this book of not covering enough information about DAIKATANA. This book tells you just about everything you need to know about DAIKATANA. In fact, I liked this book much more than the game itself!

A in depth walk-through, a peek into the dev of Daikatana and much more. All by the renowned level designer of the same game Stevie Case.She gives you all the ins and outs of great looking game. Makes the wait for this all the more painful.

I've played plenty of other games and read their strategy guides. For computers, at least, strategy guides are usually limited to black and white textbooks with hand-drawn game maps.

But not Prima's Official Daikatana Strategy Guide. This is a beautiful, full-color, slick-paged gem packed with more information and extras than you would will get from any other strat guide. You can only compare this book with a strat guide for a console game such as Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy VIII.

There are over a thousand screenshots for the walkthroughs, excellent top-down 3D game maps, designer tips on each episode and level, multiplayer tips and strategic info, instructions on how to use the Daikatana map editor, a centerfold poster of Stevie Case, the author, and a Daikatana Comic Book by Top Cow Productions in the back. This is one heavy strat guide -- get it now! :)

I never buy strategy guides for games because I usaully feel little need for them but when it comes to a game so complex and with so many options I felt I was going to need it for Deus Ex, This book was great considering i dont like to play through games over and over to find all options and secrets but sometimes I lost the satisfaction of figuring things out my own way (considering this game is all about your own decisions and playstyle) when I would wonder hmm i wonder how the book says to do this but all in all i wouldnt wanted to have played without it

Deus Ex is a complex game. In fact, I didn't realize just how complex it was until I started reading this strategy guide and saw how many subtle options I had missed. Unlike many of the Prima guides which tend to be a little anemic in the "actuallly useful information" department; I found this guide to be absolutely PACKED with helpful tips and clues. Deus Ex is almost a different experience with this by my side.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to get the most out of the game but who (sadly) cannot play it through two or three times to accomplish that goal.

This strategy guide is very detailed and cohesive. It is jam-packed with pictures, levels, and background of Deus Ex. The game is by far the BEST FPS(First Person Shooter) *that requires a brain to complete* this Year. It might just be the GAME OF THE YEAR! I have it and I'm almost done. I got it on the second day it came out and I am HIGHLY ADDICTED to this game... because it's more than just a game....it's a whole other world! Don't believe me? When I first ordered Direct Marketing it sat untouched on my desk for several weeks. At two inches thick (I measured it), I was dreading another boring tome that took a thousand words to say what could have been covered in ten. When I finally cracked the cover, I was pleasantly surprised.

Not only is Direct Marketing devoid of fluff, every word is packed with the insight of a gentleman who has obviously earned his knowledge from the school of hard knocks. As I continued to read the fourth edition of Direct Marketing I found that it is more than a book on direct mail, it's an essential read on marketing in general:

* Nash makes it easy to understand the importance and mechanics of marketing measurement and metrics.

* While emphasizing the accountability and predictability of direct marketing, Nash does not discount general marketing knowledge.

* Nash makes planning practical and concise. The chapter on marketing plans is the best coverage of the topic that I've seen.

* The Internet and other interactive vehicles are fully embraced.

In short, if you're a marketing professional, buy this book.

Wonderful! Straight to the point. Packed with facts, not fluff. No pipe-dreams. Money making, practical, and thought provoking. There is so much information and advice here, it could have easily been three or four books. Well worth the full price -- a bargain on amazon. Buy it!

Firstly, this book is about Disney Magic. That is true, and we'll get to the content shortly. What sets this book aside from a lot of others is that the Author himself actually believes and uses his own advice, which makes the information even easier to read and digest than many other business strategy guides.

Th information inside is simple: How to build a better business using principles based on careful observation of the Disney way of doing things. And it works.

The actual information is very valuable, and will surprise and delight you with it's insightful backstage glimpses. it contains solid grounding for building a successful and profitable business that attracts customers again and again.

It is also an excellent read, and one which I would recommend for fans of anything Disney, as there are plenty of fun facts and secrets, some known already and some that will mke you say "I never knew that !" You will find yourself re-reading this book for the entertainment value as WELL as the business information.

There are two other books due for release by Rich Hamilton related to this one: Internet Business Magic, and the Disney Magic Ideabook, and I would advise all of you to keep an eye on these as well.
