Paper

This book is great for parents, teachers and NIE departments. A variety of different crafts with good directions and varying difficulty. A must have for newspaper offices!

I look for several things when I buy an origami book: I want actual pictures of someone folding the paper, not diagrams. This book has that! Also, I look for a variety of shapes to fold. This book has flowers, snails (!), and dragons. I also look for simplicity, since I am an intermediate origamist. I had no trouble making every one of these projects work. I was delighted with the pictures, the variety, and the simplicity. It starts off with easy projects and moves on the harder ones. I highly recommend this to beginners as well as intermediates.

Most Thomas fans know the story of the race between Thomas and Bertie. This book simplifies the story and has easy to read large print. My young Thomas fan pulls this book off the shelf first every day. If your child likes Thomas he'll want to learn to read this book.

This is an excellent, short treatment of the Peasant War, with an emphasis on Ukraine.

This book uses newly released information - it is one of the first of many books that will be written on this fascinating, important and inexplicably ignored part of history.

Approximately 7 million Ukrainians died in the 1932 famine, while millions more died in the years before. This book is one of the few in English that deals with this terrible holocaust, which has been ignored or denied by so many historians.

The author touches on the ethnic component of the war (which is very brave considering the climate of academe today), yet fails to spell things out clearly. This is extremely unfortunate, considering that ethnicity clearly coloured the events during the Peasant War and the later conflict known as World War II. If nothing else, the author should have compared the Peasant War's nature to previous conflicts before the Revolution, as many reading this book are ignorant of t! he nature of those peasant revolts.

This is a great book exploring the intersection of ecological concerns and contemporary theology. The author basically argues that a strong view of the Incarnation provides a firm basis for ecological concern.

I just completed my first project in quilling, using this book for the pattern. I made the "Bird of Paradise" flower. It was much easier than I thought it would be to construct. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I look forward to creating more projects from this book.

Bautiful and not less informative is this wall map of our world. The colouring and printing quality is outstanding. I made a wal poster in my library room and is eye catching. One passes hours watching at it with fascinated face.

This book is must havefor craft lovers . I own this book .I have also tried some of the flowers given here . I want to list few good features of this book

3.They have all the necessary life size "stensils" (outlines).I am poor at drawing :-)I was really relived to see them .
3.Also Initally authors have explained few techniques ..you can view those in the preview pages .See for yourself , how great they are , crinkling , friling ,bending .. they all add that magical real touch to your flowers .
4.Also this book is good for beginers ..intermediates.. and professionals ..YOu'll never throw it away .. There are so many things ..and so many techniques, you'll keep coming back .

Book defines clearly how to make paper and what constitutes quality ingredients in doing so. Author has excellent summaries of each step for producing original handmade paper. Also, the book provides ideas/recipes for adding your own artistic signature to each sheet of paper.
