And Fred, who has no idea why Noah is mad at him. Can things get any more complicated at Wessex?

The second thrilling book in the Wessex Papers trilogy
Noah is deep in trouble. Not only did he have sex with the new teacher, Miss Burke, but he somehow got caught on tape doing it! Now he is being backmailed for $200,000. Noah isn't sure how it happened, but he does know that Fred Wright, who he thought was his buddy, has definitely got to be responsible. When the deadline comes and he still doesn't have the money, Noah finds himself expelled from school with nowhere to go and his life a whole mess...

Fred has no idea why Noah accused him of betraying him but he is gonna find out what conspiracy is going on at the school. Enlisting the help of Sunday the two begin to investigate the whole matter. Soon they uncover clues and find this conspiracy has been going on for quite a long while. The revelations about the conspiracy isn't the only shocking thing, their feelings for eachother too are starting to grow...until their world comes to a crashing halt after just witnessing what they believe is a murder...

The second book in the Wessex Trilogy is almost as good as the first. Of course the cliffhanger ending makes you grab the 3rd book and just start reading. I highly recommed these books to teens!

A Beautiful book
A wonderfully crafted, fragile masterpiece. I think that this is the best of the BENNY books and one of the best books I have read in years. Many may think this book is only for children, but I'm 46 and this is my favourite book (I'm from England).

Wonderful book for young and old
My 18 month old boy can't get enough of this book. He loves the illustrations and Benny the dog. I have read it so many times that I can recite it without looking and yet I still enjoy it. I have always wondered why my dog barks. Milgrim doesn't tell us why, just acknowledges the question. Some things are meant to be mysteries. I highly recommend this book for children and their parents.

The World Record Paper Airplane Calendar 2000 Featuring All-New Planes for 2000
Published in Paperback by Workman Publishing (August, 1999)
Authors: Ken Blackburn and Jeff Lammers
Amazon base price: $10.95

Airplane calendar
Complicated airplanes for kids and parents or obsessed adults, this calendar has an airplane at the end of each month. Pre-printed, ready to cut out and fold, the skill level requires at least a 12 year old ability or the help of a parent. I actually think this would be a great idea for behavior modification strategies for something different.

Paper Airplane Calendar Lots of Fun
My kids love to have their own calendar on the wall to keep track of birthdays, special occasions and just the passing of the weeks and months. This calendar has been a big favorite and my 7-year-old daughter looks so forward to the end of every month so that she can make the airplane. It is a self-made deadline....you can make any of them at any time without goofing up the calendar one bit. The planes are fairly complicated so they are good for an adult/child project....and, they actually fly! I think making these brightly colored planes is good for their creativity and engineering skills--an extra bonus to the calendar and the fun!

Writing research papers : a guide to the process

Writing Research Papers
This is a clearly written, straight forward description of the process of writing a research paper. I have used various other texts and this provides all the information someone new to the process will need. It takes the reader step-by-step through the process of developing a thesis, hypothesis, reviewing literature and writing the paper. The sample research papers are clearly explained and wonderful examples of successful papers. I will be using this text in my college English class, especially since it provides all the necessary information in an affordable text.

Comprehensive, yet easy to use.
Unlike the weighty tome, "The Heath Handbook," by Mulderig, this is a much simpler, more direct book that will give you quick access to how research papers are written. If you are already an accomplished writer, and just need the details on the research paper process and APA or MLA formats, this is the book for you.

Yami Teaches More Than Origami
I've never written an on-line review before, but this book wholeheartedly deserves such attention. While teaching a unit on Japan for my sixth grade class, I came across this book at the public library. As I read the introductory piece to learning the basics of origami, I soon learned about this wonderful man, Yami. What an amazing, touching story about personal loss and the healing power of origami. I had not expected to find an instructional book that dovetailed so well with my curriculum and the message in the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. I was and am so moved by Yami's story and the intricate art of origami that I am online to purchase this book. It's easy to follow the guidelines for this ancient art of paper folding, but this book's greater gift comes from the author's candid tale of the healing power behind this ancient Japanese tradition. I've been sharing my newly learned paper folding skills with children and in doing so, I am able to pleasantly recall Yami's wisdom for life, courage, and healing. This book is truly magnificent in the infinite gifts that it gives to its readers!

WONDERFUL! I love this book!
I absolutely love this book. Although it doesn't include color photos or diagrams, the steps appear clear -- and it contains much of the meaning and legends behind origami (such as the significance of the thousand cranes, how origami can help alleviate grief, etc.), none of which I have ever seen before.

I absolutely love this book, and cannot sufficiently recommend it.

Zoo Flakes ABC

What a great book!
My Children loved this book! Each Zoo Flake is so clever. My kids couldn't wait to make their own! I had to help my four year old with the folding and cutting, but the older kids did great on their own. They have asked if this could be "a Christmas thing" we do every year.

What a clever book, and not just for kids!
In this enchanting book, the author has created "zoo flakes," or paper snowflakes cut into animal kaleidoscope shapes, for each letter of the alphabet. What time and patience this process must have taken! These are not crude cutouts of rough animal shapes, but highly detailed silhouettes of unicorns, foxes (foxen?), and more. I encourage you to click on the book cover picture above so you can enlarge it and get a glimpse of the animal shapes shown on the cover. Great as an alphabet book for kids or a fun book for adults to look through -- it would be a unique conversation piece on a coffee table. It also includes directions at the end for making zoo flakes.

A look back to everyday things
This is the latest of Robert Opie's wonderful scrapbooks. The format is deceptively simple, each spread has a big photo devoted to one theme: food packets, teenage magazines, Barbie dolls, film posters, candy wrappers etc. You can see dozens of packets your ma kept in the kitchen cupboards or maybe that car brochure dad had back then, possibly you had one of the twnty toothpaste tubes (page 19) in your bathroom. The 1400 items pictured in this book are mostly what the rest of us would have thrown away, Opie wisely (for us) saved it all for his packaging and print museum in Gloucester, England. This is an excellent resource book for those interested in graphic design of the period

Indispensible
If you're from one of the lesser states, you might not care, but for Texans, or those who have to deal with Texans, this is a reference work without comparison. I always have a current copy on my desk. (I would have given earlier editions only four stars because of all that junk about entertainment stars, etc.) The history section has been improved and the county by county section, with maps and demographics, is what I use almost daily.

Simply the Best
Gordon Clark excels in commentating. He avoids the all-too-common pitfalls of commentating on current events and spewing forth an autobiographical sob-story. Clark limits himself to the text, and the text is clarified and God glorified in a way I have seen in the writings of no other commentator.
