I bought this book and no other book for review prior to my LPN boards. I reviewed the book and broke it down into parts (the book is random information). It seemed like every question that came up was in this book. I have recommended it (and its companion book for RN's ) to everyone I know taking the tests. It is simply the best source of info: I've even used both books while on duty to as a quick resource. Good luck to all taking the Boards.

This is a very good book. It has good info and in very short bullets. It is a great book to carry with you when you have to go to the doctors office or if you are just sitting around.

Great Review cards. Cards are categorized by nursing topics, numbered and indexed. The review information follows course topics I am learning in PN nursing course. Very helpful to review before an exam, as well as review for NCLEX-PN boards exam. The cards provide questions and critical thinking rationale answers. I highly recommend, great study aid.

These review cards were extremely helpful. They were a fun way to study and review pieces of information from the year. It was really easy to let my friends and family help me study also. There were also test-taking tips that were informative. I'm truly thankful that I received these cards. I truly urge any graduated practical nurses to get their hands on these cards. I found out I passed boards just a few weeks ago!

This book really helped me alot. It taught me how to answer the nlcex questions. I used to over read my questions and get them wrong. This book also teaches you how to pick out the best answer. Buy this book....I guarantee that this book will help you pass the horrible test.

With the help from this book - I passed my NCLEX exam. This book improved my test taking skills and taught me to avoid reading into test questions too much. It is a MUST for ALL nursing students. I have recommended this book to all my friends.

i really enjoyed the book and thought that the questions were excellent in that they gave you the rational for the answers, however i could not get the disk to work in my computer that has windows 98, it kept asking for a second disk.

I teach review classes to prepare students for the state board exam.i have used this book for my classes and have found it to be very beneficial.The book is in outline form and hits all the key points in all the subject areas.I have heard nothing but positive comments from my students reguarding this book!The two comprehensive tests and the computer disk that are included provided the students with three simulated nclex tests that challenge their knowledge!

I found this book to be very helpful with preparing me for the NCLEX PN. I like the disk encluded because it had a test bank of over 600 questions. The review inside the book was also very helpful.

This book was fantastic! The first part of the book was just pure reassurance that you'll do well and that you know a lot more than you think you do... How empowering and encouraging! The author gives many hints, tips and ways of remembering things and to top it off... The book comes with a disk to test yourself on the computer!

I combined this book and Saunders PN review book for my NCLEX exam. I found that this book was great to take to work and do review questions while on break etc. The questions vary in difficulty and are very comprehensive. I felt very prepared to take the exam and passed. If you have the money to buy this book it will only enhance your test taking skills, worth every penny!

Believe me when I tell you that this is "the" guide to study for NCLEX. You will pass your boards if you make dedicated reading time from this book and practice with the test disc. It will also help you if you combine it early on with your nursing studies. No other study guide compares to this one, it is worth your money!

I was making C's on all my tests. After I purchased this book and read the rationales for the questions and the sample test questions my grades went to A's and B's. This is a great tool for Beginning LPN students!!!!

I purchased this CD/book a week before a comprehensive final exam. I used it three times and raised my exam score by 10%. It helped me see where I was needing to focus my attention for for studying for this test. I was having trouble with the difference between studying for an A&P exam, vs an LPN exam, vs an RN exam. I seemed to always be studying {memorizing} the wrong stuff. This helped me raise my critical thinking skills. Highly recommended.
