The subject of time, its psychological manifestation and the spiritual, mystical and occult insights has been a life long interest for me. This is not the first time I have been sadly disappointed by a book on time...If you have a real interest in time try "Time,Space and Knowledge" by Tartang Tulku this book goes directly into your experience of time, how to experience and manipulate it.

Fairly Comprehensive, but Poorly Researched/AnalyzedThis book contains a great deal of information about many variations with the Schlieman defense, but the author presents a good deal of material which is simply not correct when properly analyzed. There are additional books on the Schlieman, and while I don't know the quality of them, I would give one a try before settling on this one.

Opening price principle or Fibonacci? The opening price principle could be written on one page. I have books on Fibs, I didn't need another. Give me a break!!!!!!!!
Absolute DisgracePerhaps one of the most poorly written books I own. The author should either get some new friends to inform him of his lack of writing talent, or he should be imprisoned for such an apathetic attempt at writing. On top of that, his "Opening Price Prinicipal" is a completely stolen method. Toby Crabel was one of the original co-creators of this technique. The information on this technique is better explained in "The Ultimate Trading Guide", "Long Term Secrets to Short Term Trading", and "Professional Stock Trading". Of course, if one can track down Crabel's book, then you have the original work which is very thorough. At then end of the book, he does have a rather paltry chapter on Fib ratios that can be found and better utilized in numerous other books. In summary, this book is poorly written, weakly paraphrased, and completey lacking of any original content.
A BOOK FOR STOCK TRADERSThis book seems to be centred around a single idea - "the opening price". It shows that in about 75% or the time the 'high' or ' low' for the day will be somewhere around the opening price. There are many charts (stocks only) illustrating the principle. There is also an introduction to Fibonacci theory. Others who have bought the author's other books, in my opinion, do not really need this one.

No explanationsYou'd think a a page with the heading "How to Use this book," would at least tell you how to use the tables. But nooo...
And since the book is comprised of nothing but tables..., well, it's just to ludicrous to comprehend.
And since the book is comprised of nothing but tables..., well, it's just to ludicrous to comprehend.
FailsThis book is little more than a marketing ploy. It's presented as a sort of Modern Chess Openings (MCO) for beginners. However, aside from a brief (and inferior) treatment of general opening principles, this book basically reprints the same tables from MCO for the most popular openings. Therefore if you're a beginner who finds MCO a little over your head, you won't find this book any easier. Unbelievably, there isn't even any explanation of how to read and use the tables. Since more advanced players will want the full version of MCO, and since it is too difficult for beginners (who shouldn't be wasting time memorizing opening variations anyway), this book is really completely useless.

Great book, but this is an out of date editionI wish the material in on-line reviews had stated clearly that "Ultimate King's Indian Attack" by Dunnnigton was just an updated edition of "How To...", otherwise I wouldn't have purchased this "How To..." book. Granted, it was only $8 (+ shipping) used, but it was still a waste of time/money to track it down and buy it. I thought that perhaps "How To..." was more of an introductory text. Get "The Ultimate King's Indian Attack", the updated version of "How To...", by the same author instead.
If you're really strapped for cash, and you don't care about slightly out of date theory (some ideas stand the test of time), then I give this book 5 stars, but I want others looking for KIA books to know these two are just different editions of the same book.

For rubber bridge onlyBobby Wolff wrote only a 1 page preface. Take his name off of the add for this book.
The information in the book is only applicable to rubber bridge. For serious duplicate bridge players, it is useless. It is written at a beginner's level.
I kept page 12 (a table of leads from different combinations) and threw the rest away.
It might be useful to beginners who only play rubber bridge.

Poorly written, not worth your time and moneyThis book is about 110 pages and almost 40 percent of it is filled with maps, and the author seems to repeat the same thing over and over, it is a very poorly written book with very little information. I have a computer related degree and i had a hard time understanding what he was trying to say, i wonder how one with no computer background would feel like. Anyways my recomendation, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME
That said, this is best looked at as a sort of MCO/NCO for gambits. It has very complete coverage of various gambits, along with some analysis. The analysis is questionable in some lines (for example, e4 c6 d4 d5 e5 c5 in the caro-kann advance schiller claims is good for white, whereby most sources (gm nigel davies for example) say black has full compensation for the pawn).
This is best used as an idea book, and for gambit players who need such a work, I guess it's not bad. Yes, it's a database dump, and yes the analysis is probably pretty sketchy (the author is only a NM), but there are not a whole lot of other gambit resources out there, so if you need something of this nature, than this is probably your only choice.
