This book was written when I was three years old by my grandmother. It was typed by my mother, who learned alot from hers. I grew up a lucky child, for not only did I eat excellent meals everyday, but I rarely ate the same meal twice in a month. 85% of the meals I ate growing up were out of this book. The greatest recipies from her roast chicken to her wonderful desserts. It not only tells you in detail how to prepare some of the best recipies in the world, but there are blurbs from Happy herself, entertaining quips about her start in the kitchen. Very entertaining, also extremely useful. If you are looking for great food look no farther. Ted Van Singel- Grandson

This is an excellent guide to planning and designing a functional kitchen, most useful for those who spend a lot of time cooking. The photos, decorations, and cabinetry displayed are outdated, but the focus is on kitchen design for practical uses. We relied heavily on the author's principles in bulding a kitchen (in 1992) for our 1906 home, and we've been quite happy. Sections on building cabinets & drawers are interesting but not as well done as some more recent publications.

Each year, with each new edition, this tax guide becomes more helpful. It's an excellent reference guide for most any tax question that you might have. It's written clearly and is easily understandable (and it is even humorous).

This book will help anyone who desires to learn how their box office ticket dollars are spent. The authors take you step by step through a standard profit participation agreement. I feel the authors are not as aggressive as they should be hollywood's unethical "creative accounting". The distributors and the audit firms would like artists to believe that the lack of knowledge is why many artist are "cheated" out of their net profits or as Eddie Murphy stated "monkey profits". All net profit participants should read this before they listen to their lawyers and auditors. Many auditors and attorneys are willing participants in the "net profit scam"!

Well not really. But at least read this book in case. This book is about a woman who's husband hired a hitman to kill her but the story takes a weird turn when the hitman hired somebody else to do the dirty work who just so happens to be a undercover cop. Amazingly enough this book is actually really funny at times but you are going to have to read it yourself to find out why. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good mystery.

This book is so beautifully illustrated and written. The story line of saving money for a desired purchase (a red and blue bike), took me back to my own childhood. Readers can feel the child's disappointment over not having enough money. As a wonderful addition, the child wants to save for a bike in order to help his mother carry her heavy loads. This was a truly enjoyable read.

Jack and Jenny are on their third trip to Hong Kong when Jack Carlton and Tim Chen find an envelope with $2,000 in it and a mysterious quote about hot money. It leds them on a great discovery of a counterfeit ring in Hong Kong. Tim's father is seriously hurt in a car accident as he searches for his son. The exciting escape from the warehouse with the evidence of the counterfeiters makes a sensational arrest possible. Strong Christian principles make this wholesome reading and the guarantee that the young reader will not want to put the book down.

This together with the Standard Catalog of National Bank Notes are "must haves" for collectors. A bit out of date but still invaluable. Hopefuly they both will be updated soon.

Here Neale speaks with you about how to get what you want out of life. Give what you have - love, humor, compassion; it doesn't have to be money or material wealth. In fact, if we give who we are, all abundance comes to us! This book is a nice reminder of the information in his 4 other books, and gives us a deeper look into his experiences as well as the participants of the retreat from which this text is taken. Well worth the re-minding!

Many of the non-traditional families in our society feel left out then it comes to money books. Most of us aren't in the 10% or so of families with a father working and a mother at home. This book gives tax info and other good advice for this kind of family--the one with two earners, blended families, even same sex families.

I liked the charts which summarized the info for each family type, with specific details on what to do.
