Wow-----I couldn't put this book down, but did when I got within 20 or so pages from the back because I didn't want it to end.....
I could relate to the many locations on the eastern seaboard as detailed in the story which had the effect of my being woven into the fabric of the book. It is an easy book to read and exceptionally interesting because of the unique details offered.
I understand a second book is in the works. I can't wait!!

This book contains suggestions on healthy living that frankly I have never heard before. It combines the known benefits of exercising with not only proper eating habits but suggests what to eat and what time of the day to eat them. When you do these two things along with supplementing your diet with vitamin and mineral supplements, you may experience a much happier and longer life. This was a very eye-opening book for me. I would suggest that if you read this book, you also read "What Your Medical Doctor Does Not Tell You About Nutritional Supplements, May Be Killing You!" Another book everyone should have in their personal library!

Picked this book up because of the cool title. Not your typical vampire story. Far from being Gothic, the story actually revolves around providing a window into the real-life struggles of a man, Martin, who happens to be a vampire falling for a woman, Julie, who is not. Their relationship is tested by the classic fight against evil in the form of vampires who are not bound by Martin's moral code.

The author also gives the reader pleasurable glimpses into how other moral vampires (and not vampires) have managed to carve out a "normal" life for themselves despite the the disease which forces them to embarace the mystery of the night while shunning the warmth of the day.

Great read. Maybe this one will end up on the screen because of all the action.

This is a textbook for one of those "boring" junior college courses on planning your life and marriage. Funny thing is, it's also a fantastic wealth of advice and homey insights most of us desperately need. Centers on finances in marriage, always a problem area, but plenty of other good stuff. I think with the right literary agent and a lean rewrite, this would be a bestseller. Most Americans should take Prof. Poduska's course.

I could not put down this book its filled with greed, self center children and alot of money. What makes one son decide to blow up his family? Well MONEY & JEALOUSLY of course. Its so far fetched yet just plan crazy tale of family with a few issues. Its well written and does an excellent background check of all the players so you grow to understand what made them all tic. Its well worth the time to read. And my paperback version came with pictures so you get to see who every one was before the bombing.

Sandra Marton and Penny Jordan are a great pair of tale-tellers. I really enjoyed this book and the stories they each told.

When I first started to look through this book, I decided that it's all trivial. Then I looked again, hm-m-m... I actually never thought about most of this "trivial" stuff before. The language was simple, true, but it's amazing how many good hints are there. I regularly read books on personal finance, and this book does not repeat them. Say, did you ever wonder how banks make money on those "0% APR introductory offers"? And did you even thought why it is important to know? Yes, good question contains most of the answer. Because that's what you pay, if you use this "free" credit. And this book is good with both questions and answers. Another example: if your income is $100 short from your expenses, how much expenses you should cut? $100, right? Now, if you cannot cut expenses, how much you have to earn? $100? Not keeping in mind income tax! Assume your effective federal income tax rate last year was 15% and your tax bracket was 33%, then how much? $115? $133? $150? Wrong, quite a bit more!

The cover says, it's good for teenagers, and that's true. I'll try to make my teenager kids read it. In a few years they are going to a college, and I want them to be smart about their money. The cover says that it's also good for everybody who has come to this country and tries to make sense of our financial life. I suppose that's true too. But it's also definitely good for a lot of other folk. It was good for me, and I am not a teenager.

I wanted my wedding to be beautiful and classic but also uniquely us. I found this to be very difficult, particularly with the fact that my fiancée and I were paying for our wedding ourselves and were on a limited budget. Cindy's book was full of great ideas that kept a budget in mind. I had a lot of wedding books that I had bought or had been given, and they all pretty much said the same things. However, The Frugal Bride was, thankfully, much different! It had lots of creative and fun ideas and really helped us make our day special.
