Saved me money and time
I didn't know anything about how to get my manuscript into the marketplace. Dan's shown me how to do that independently without wasting a lot of my time and money! This update to his previous book couldn't come at a better time. I enjoyed it.

Very Helpful!
This is a spirited and practical handbook for those of us who are looking to publish and market our books independently. It's written with good humor and in an easy-to-read style with real world recommendations that I found very helpful.

You can't afford not to own this book
Tackling personal finance as a young adult is extremely difficult, especially if you don't know where to start. As a recent college graduate with too much debt, too many credit cards, and too little income, I was looking for a way to get myself on track. I picked up a copy of "Don't Spend Your Raise" and immediately discovered that I couldn't put it down! Ms. Duguay's recommendations have been so helpful to me. Do yourself a favor and spend the twelve bucks on this book. It might save you thousands down the road..

Got Debt?? Read This Book
Having struggled with substantial credit card debt and personal problems over the last few years, I turned to Dara Duguay's "Dont Spend Your Raise And 59 Other Money Rules You Can't Afford To Break" for sound advice on budget and financial planning. I found it to be absolutely invaluble. Ms. Duguay not only provides the black letter rules that help with day-to-day and month-to-month spending decisions, but she also pares them with real life stories that bring the rules to life. For example, she advises consumers to set aside money for an emergency fund, and then tells the story of poor Brendy who had to take job at Starbucks after her boyfriend left her just to pay the monthly bills.

Like I said, an invaluable book....for yourself....or for your kids who are just graduating from high school or college.

Drive the Best for the Price
This book will pay for itself by helping to get a good deal on a used car or, perhaps more importantly, avoid a bad deal. The author does an excellent job speaking in layman's language helping us understand the used car market. He provides lots of questions I hadn't thought of and includes sources to gain information. I especially appreciate the thorough list of things to check before a used car is purchased. This information will save our family significant money!

Kyle Busch The Teacher Writer
Kyle Busch is a man who is 41 years old and lives in Erie Pa, He is a teacher and counsiler and wrote a great book called "Drive For The Best Price: How to Buy a Used Automobile, Sport-Utility Vehicle, or Minivan and Save Money" This is a great book which can help any person of any age buy a good vehicle for there needs and price they are willing to pay. This book is great for people who don't know much about cars and are wanting to get a good used car for a reasonable amount of money. I would recomend this book to any body who is wanting a new used car. Also I believe that this writer did a great job on this book. He was able to give my parents great tips on being able to save some money on a used car that my father bought last week. My dad saved $7,500 on his car and would not know what he would have done without this great help guide for cars.

Enlightening Advice
Not having heard of this author before, I thought this would be a boring lecture of financial advice hashed over from yet another point of view. I was wrong. Dave presents his ideas in a straight forward no-nonsense manor while keeping the audience entertained. While most of his material has a common sense approach, he backs it up with enlightening facts from a uniquely "fun" point of view.
I will enjoy listening to this CD set over and over again as I attempt to impliment his advice in my financial life. I look forward to other material from this author.

Deliverance from debt
This 3-CD set by Dave Ramsey is fantastic. My previous exposure to Dave Ramsey had been his radio show which I liked, but unfortunately the station that aired it in my area got sold and changed formats. So when I saw this set of CDs I immediately purchased them. It's probably the best money I ever spent. Dave Ramsey's books are good but sometimes a book doesn't stay with you after you finish it. Dave's radio show is great but you have to catch it when it is actually on. These CDs however are the best of both worlds: you get all of Dave's wonderful wisdom on personal finance available to you anytime you want to listen to it. I cycle through these three CDs in my car and listen to them repeatedly. CDs one and two are outstanding and will definitely get you angry about debt (that's what Dave is famous for), but the real magic probably exists on the third CD, the one about budgeting (aka "cash flow planning"). This CD really changed things for me because it made me understand that money is a fluid, active thing which must be managed. Once I understood that EVERY dollar of every paycheck had to be named (even if it was just to designate that you were going to blow a portion of it), I started really feeling like I had total control of my money.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend purchasing this set of CDs. I wish I'd had them 15 years ago.

Awesome $
This is a must for money buffs and the like.

THE best book to identify Colonial bills and their signers.
Wonderful pictures, and even identification of the signers of the bills. Some signatures are hard to make out even if clearly written in dark ink due to the style of writting, but are identified here. Worth every penny!

IT REALLY WORKS!
ENOUGH MONEY really works! Mr. Vodra has developed a sensible and practical approach to managing one's personal financial life. His "Seven Rules of Prosperous Living" are easy to understand and follow. After reading his book and completing a "Lifetime Balance Sheet", I have managed to begin a savings plan and almost eliminate my credit card debt in a few short months. I highly recommend Mr. Vodra's approach to gaining financial freedom.

Common sense, simple rules, down-to-earth language.
Before I can do my job as a financial planner, I often have to cajole my client into getting their stuff together in order to give me some idea what I have to work with. Now I can just refer them to Dick's wonderful book. Taking the "Seven Rules of Prosperous Living" and applying them to the "Lifetime Balance Sheet" can help even the most disorganized, disfunctional procrastinator develop an easy formula for a stress-free financial future.

Practical & Helpful
I wish I had read this book years ago when I started with a company that offered a savings plan. I think this book could have helped me save and make more money in my 401(k).

This book is very useful and practical. It defines the terms for all the parts of and the key documents relating to your 401(k) or savings plan. It also lists lots of useful resources and websites.

I also like that this book is easy to read and has lots of interesting stories from the authors experience helping people. This is not a dry, dull book. The author has a fun, easy style that helped keep my interest.

GREAT Starting Place
Crista Boyles does a great job in helping people to become more aware of their financial options and decisions they can and need to make in her book, "Enron Proof Your 401(k): Steps to Keep Your Money Safe". I have felt for a while now that I needed to educate myself in order to enable me to make healthy decisions
regarding my finances in general and particularly in regards to my 401k. Reading this book is a GREAT starting place to becomming informed about the options an individual has in regards to making important financial decisions.

After hearing great reviews regarding Ms Boyles work and regrettfully missing out on an opportunity to attend one of her workshops, I aquired her book. I was so excited that I read several chapters in it that night and continued reading every spare moment I had. It is very easy reading with very useful information. With the information learned from this book I will be able to make better decisions that in the long run that will benefit my future.

The Standard!
Clearly the best book on Eurodollar futures and options. The book is a must for anyone involved in fixed income securities.

Highly recommended
Having just finished reading the author's treatment of bond futures in the 'Treasury Bond Basis,' I was happy to see that Burghardt was updating some of his material from the early 1990s on Eurodollar futures. The 'Bond Basis' was an excellent and thorough analysis, and 'The Eurodollar Futures and Options Handbook' follows the same trend.

He provides an excellent overview of the institutional details of Eurodollars and their uses. The book is at its strongest when dealing with issues of the convexity bias and also scores high by not neglecting important issues like the stub period. Perhaps my favorite chapter was on callable bonds and the extension/compression risk, which, while a little misplaced in a book on Eurodollars, still provided a very lucid explanation of the relevant issues.

With regard to options, the author touches upon some of the interest strategic combinations using serial and mid-curve options, but I feel that he could've delved a bit deeper in this part of the book. It's the only area in which I felt the book was somewhat lacking.

Having said all that, if you're looking to learn about Eurodollar futures, I can't imagine there's a better book out there. This is an excellent compilation of a number of Burghardt's research from the 1990s together with more recent updates. Even if Eurodollars are not your main area of expertise, this book will still help you to gain a more solid understanding of many of the pertinent topics in fixed income.

You don't get them like that anymore
Ever felt like not having enough money. Read this once and you will realise that money and happiness are two separate things.

The book makes you laugh while it teaches you lessons in true human psycholgy - specially applied to children.

What makes an "American Family"
This book will be old dog eared and cherrished. Your hardest problem will be keeping it for yourself as you will most likely lend it out and lose it along the way. Better to have two of these books. One personal and another for everyone else.
