I liked the book Eye of the Beholder!!!!!
I just finished reading Eye of the Beholder. It is a very interesting novel. It keeps you very interested and you just don`t want to put it down. I liked the novel for the most part. The two main characters Tyler and Lymie get into a little trouble during the novel with their interests in art. I like the novel because of what happens during the novel. I would urge a friend to read this novel because it is a fun book to read, and if I liked it I`m positive that they would like it to.

Eye of the Beholder review
The book "Eye of the Beholder" is a very good book. It is about two boys named Tyler McAllister and Lymie Lawrence, who are in the eight grade. They are staying together when they have the chicken pox. It is then when they hear about the Badoglio festival that will take place in Wakefield, Badoglio's hometown. The main reason for the festival is to let everyone see the two heads Badoglio made and threw into the Hoosickill River. The towns people were going to try and find the heads. Lymie and Tyler made two heads that looked like Badoglio's and threw them into the river shortly before the town was going to look for Badoglio's heads. I really do think you should read this book so you can see what happens in the rest of the book. I liked the book "Eye of the Beholder" because it seemed like it was something that could have really happened.

Eye of the Beholder- Nick Montgomery
This is a great book! It is so funny and so well written!

actioned packed
Action packed of what really happened in nam.Go behind enemy lines and feel the adrenalion rush of close encounters, ambushes
and prisioner snaches. I cant tell you how much this book actually teaches you about the horrors of war and the good times the soilders had to.

truly unforgetable
Gary Linderer and all the men of the LRRPS give you a first hand account of what it was like to sit through hours of boredom one minute then to have hundreds of enemy soldiers suddenly appear and make your blood run cold with terror as your mind races to the thought that you could be discovred and face 20 to 1 odds . This as with all of Garys books are highly recommended reading if you are the kind of reader who can actually picture yourself being there with him.

Balls of Steel
The title of this book should be Balls of Steel or something similar. Gary makes you feel as if you are on a mission with him. He is a superb writer and an Honest to God Hero. A must read. 5 BIG Stars.

Great book, that's not dumbed down.
I remember purchasing this book in the sixth grade, and reading it quickly and eagerly. Quite simply, it's a wonderful book that contains profound themes in a package that's intelligent, yet easy for preteens to swallow. Abuse of power, addiction, loneliness, responsibility, greed, destiny....it's all covered in this novel. I heartily recommend purchasing this book. And guys? Don't spoil this book for other people in your reviews!

Loved It
I may have read this book three years ago, but since then this book has remained clear in my memory. The wishes Kevin Midas made were tempting to make but hard to get rid of. He soon realizes that his glasses that he found on top of a mountain had saved his life and granted him many many wishes that came with consequences. The glasses have mystical powers and become more and more trouble for Kevin as the novel progresses. Truly a great read.

-Mikey

All The Story
Kevin Midas is a geeky kid who is short with few friends. He goes on a feild trip to a mountain called Divine Watch. He decides to climb it, and at toe top of the mountain, he finds a pair of neat sunglasses. He takes them with him, and wears them all the time. Soon, everything he says happens. He gets a bully to jump into a lake twice. But soon, things get out of hand. He changes history, like making two plus two equal three. He sends the kid bullying him to hell, which contains fire, and the thing Bertram hated most: Fish. The glasses get stuck on his head and he cant get them off. He knows that the glasses need energy to make his wishes come true, so he goes into his garage, which is very cold. He knows not to think, for anything he thinks, not just says will come true. Thats what happened to Kevin Midas.

The Death of Adult Children Through the Eyes of Grieving Parents

The Death of an Adult Child
This book is a wonderful resource for those parents who have experienced (or are experiencing) the death of an adult child--only those who have gone through the same emotions can offer such comfort and hope. It is also good for family members and friends who are trying to help the parents through this difficult time (as well as themselves).

Expressive and Emotional
This book approaches a difficult subject most people are afraid to address. It relays emotional and heartfelt experiences of parents who have lost an adult child. Written in a collage of narratives, the reader becomes comforted and supported by those who bravely share their grieving and healing process. It is a wonderful book and I suggest it to anyone who has, or is familiar with anyone who has, experienced such a loss in their life.

Death of an adult child
Parents who have experienced death of an adult child, will find help in their everlasting grief from the sharing of parents who have had this happen to them.

Eyes of a Stranger [3.5 Disk, HTML]

Author: Tracy Cooper-Posey
Amazon base price: $4.50

highly recommended
Tracy Cooper-Posey lends her unique voice to EYES OF A STRANGER. The tone of the romance remains sensual, intriguing, and beguiling right through to the end, making this reader want to remain within its romantic aura long after the last page is turned.

Anistasia Kirk, Anna, struggles to save an albatross, plummeting herself into a adventure with David Morgan, who sees past the cool business woman façade she attempts to maintain, to the erotic, sensually passionate woman. When he reawakens her passion long held in check, she leaves him, without even a name, to return to her normal life.

The following night she and her fiancé Hugh hold their engagement party, but Anna finds herself shocked when Hugh introduces the mysterious stranger from the night before as his best friend.

Anna finds it more and more difficult to repress her emotions in the ensuing months as she spends more time in David's company. The stubbornness that she turned into tenacity in the business world, the passion she squelched to remain professional, and the sensuality repressed beneath business suits and sensible heels threatens both her security in her self-created world, and her relationship with her father. As David continues to coax the smoldering passions within Anna to a flame, she finds herself torn between like her mother who died mysteriously years before, and the sensible woman she had vowed to become.

EYES OF A STRANGER is a marvelously sensual romance with a heady rush to the senses and is written with flare and panache. When David promises Anna "I am the only man with whom you can allow your nature free reign and I am the only man who understands and accepts you as you are," even the most jaded of readers can't help but be swept away.

Definitely a keeper!
Not only is this a wonderful story with a deftly drawn cast of characters (without a single stereotype in the bunch!), its a beautifully written story. Her descriptions are richly textured and delightful. The ending satisfied on every level. I also finished her Sherlock Homes Chronicles of the Lost Years and will be watching for more from this vastly talented author. I just have to wonder where the print publishers were that let her get away from them. And I have to applaud the foresight of Hard Shell Word Factory in snapping her up. Don't let the electronic format stop you from this wonderful read.

Slow...but a decent finish...
When I first started this series, I was a little dissapointed. Not only was the dialogue boring and a little tedius to get through, but the characters weren't that likable from the start. BUT, as the book progressed, their were a few more things to keep it interesting. The end of the books was ok, a little abrubt. But, I can't say anything about it without giving away some of the story, so I will let the readers decide.

If 1)You are a fan of Dragonlance, 2) You are a fan of Mages in Dragonlance, then you should get this book. It takes place nearly 300 years after the Cataclysm, and really gives insight into the magical side of Krynn.

Great Story !
When I read this book I had no idea about fantasy , but I easily understood the whole story. ( about magic and everything.. ) Ýt was a great beginning to read other fantasy books.. The story was fascinating and VERY captivating , I hardly could leave it and spend time with my friends until the next day I finished it ! I highly recommend it to everyone !

Great Intro to the Magic in Krynn.
This book provides alot of information about the three orders of magic in Krynn. A vague story of the Cataclysm and the Lost Citadel is told well in this story.

For the storyline, I found it pretty interesting. There are several plot twists, which reveal what actually happened in the previous chapters. The author, Mary Kirchoff, describes objects in the story very well, which makes the readers imagine the world better. The characters' feelings are all very different, not just one or two similar characters.

Overall, I thought this was a very well-written book for starting Dragonlance readers and the experienced one.

Thrilling!
Jenna Blake had had it with the life of an assistant to a somewhat mad-scientist of a Medical Examiner. That is, until she finds out about a strange new crime wave involving zombies. But Jenna knows that she has to go back to Somerset Medical Center to solve the mystery, when she tries to save the life of Tom, a freshman at Somerset, just like her, who dies, but mysteriously comes back to life days later, when his autopsy is taking place. Now she's got to find an explanation to these strange crimes involving people who are already dead. After all, zombies can't really exist, can they?

After reading the previous BODY OF EVIDENCE books, I am shocked to say that this is one of my absolute favorites. Instead of a drop-off in plots after the first few books, Golden is still going strong. Coming up with storylines that will thrill and entice you at the same time. Fans of the previous BODY OF EVIDENCE books can not miss MEETS THE EYE.

Erika Sorocco

The strangest case Jenna has faced to date!
Jenna Blake thought she was done being an assistant Medical Examiner but when a strange series of crimes show up she finds herself strangely drawn towards them. What's so strange about these crimes is the fact that the murderers are already dead. Torn between the want to help and solve the mystery, and to have a normal life with her friends Hunter and Yoshiko and her boyfriend Damon, Jenna is forced to make a serious decision. Will she take her old job back? Even if it means putting her life in jepordy Again??

I found this book to be an equally thilling edition to the series, one of the best to date. The "Zombie killings" are baffling and you'll never expect who the real killer is. If your a fan of the Body of evidence series and can stomache reading about a lot of gore, read this book! It's one of the best in the series that I'v read!

Are zombies real?
Jenna Blake gets herself caught up in another suspensful puzzle. Even open minded Jenna has to question her beliefs with this one. Are zombies real or myth? She has to find out.

Heaven in Your Eyes

Judi McCoy's best yet!
Heroine: voluptuous

Imagine being a US Marshall in an isolated government safe house guarding a mafia informant, only to:

a) get the hots for him
b) get shot at over him
c) go on the run with him
d) find out he isn't who you thought he was!

Then add to the mix the confused soul of your late husband and the good intentions of a guiding angel, and watch your world turn upside down!

What worked for me:

I loved the premise of this book with its "second chance at love, and then some" storyline!

There was a good mix of comic and dramatic moments in the story, and plenty of sexual tension laced throughout.

Size-wise Annie was voluptuous, but also sturdy enough to keep up with the guys in her line of work.

What didn't work for me:

Annie forgot protocol time and time again; she was so knocked for a loop by her situation. The novel seemed more focused at times on her vulnerability than her capability, though she did get her act together at the last minute.

I did have a problem with a major component of the storyline, but can't mention it here because I don't want to spoil the story for you. (If you've already read it, though, pop into the forum and see what I'm talking about.)

Overall:
If you like your romantic suspense funny or want your romantic comedies to have some tension, you should enjoy this story as well as the other two novels which will make up the "heaven" trilogy.

Warning: This book has some steamy moments.

If you liked "Heaven in Your Eyes" you might also enjoy "I Dream of You", "Getting Lucky", "Walking After Midnight", "Fast Women", "Lola Carlyle Reveals All", "Born to be Wild", and "Wishes".

The Best Judi McCoy book YET!
I loved this book! The other reviews have recapped the story already - so instead of repeating them, I would like to say although Tom and Anne have a happily ever after and Tom keeps Drew's memories and body, what about poor Drew's soul. It seems like he was sacrificed to make Annie's wish come true. It may have been his time to go - but it is kind of sad.I can't wait until the next book comes out in Nov. about Nathan Baxter - could the love interest possibly be Eloise? Hmmm.

Loved it
I really liked this story - I found it to be a different kind of romance with a bit of a twist. Putting the book down was almost impossible - I had to find out what was gonna happen. The author has a way of bringing the characters to life and the situation seem real. It makes you think about treating loved ones better and hope that if encountered by an angel in the afterlife, you won't have to return to earth and try again at being nice. I can't wait until the next book in this series is on the shelf, I am definitely a fan of Judi McCoy and hope she will continue writing such wonderful stories years to come.

Eyes of Eagles

Eight Days Of Glory
I am an Alamo fanatic, and I make no excuses fof it. Mr Johnstone's story of a young man raised by Indians who becomes one of the Alamo defenders is one of my favorites, and when I saw it offered on tape, there was no hesitation in ordering a copy. My only disapointmentment is in the editing(of course, that's what "abridged" means, isn't it?), and I would love to see a full length version on tape someday. Until then, this is an excellent adventure story that can be enjoyed by anyone not offended by the obvious violence associated with the legendary struggle for Texas independance. REMEMBER THE ALAMO!

ANOTHER BEGINING TO A GREAT SERIES
Jamie Ian MacCalister orphaned as a boy is captured by the Indians and along with him was a young girl. Together they plan an escape. Whenever they have a chance they bring into their tee pee dried foods and other necessities. They make their get away and, all of this time he and Kate the name of the girl, run into danger, which keeps the story exciting and fast. Jamie grows into a man. They find themselves a home in Texas. And of course Jamie becomes envolved in the battles of Texas. A top notch read and plenty of real events in history.

REMEMBER THE ALAMO!
JOHNSTONE'S TALE OF A YOUNG BOY RAISED BY INDIANS WHO BECOMES A LEGEND IN THE WEST AND A SURVIVOR OF THE ALAMO. A GREAT ADVENTURE TALE AND THE WAY THE BATTLE OF THE ALAMO SHOULD BE REMEMBERED, DESPITE WHAT A CAREFUL STUDY OF HISTORY TELLS US IS THE REAL TRUTH. WELL, FOLKS, I HAPPEN TO PREFER MR JOHNSTONE'S VERSION TO A LOT OF OTHERS CIRCULATING AROUND. HIS DAVY CROCKETT DIES WITH HIS BOOTS ON, FIGHTING THE ENEMY, AND JIM BOWIE TAKES MORE THAN A FEW WITH HIM, TOO. THESE MEN ARE HEROES, AND THEY DIE AS HEROES, AND EACH ONE DESERVES THE HONOR AS SUCH. I KNOW BOWIE WAS A SLAVE TRADER AND A CON MAN, AND DAVY CROCKETT PROBABLY DID SURRENDER, BUT THIS IS A STORY OF LEGENDS. READ YOUR HISTORT BOOKS FOR THE REAL STORY. READ THIS FOR THE PRIDE IN OUR ANCESTORS THAT WE SHOULD HAVE. AND READ IT FOR FUN.
