A Warrant For The Pursuit Of Jewish Genocide.
Read how the exploitation and manipulation of the UN by the PLO and it's Arab colleagues has lead to the UN's moral decline and allegations of being nothing more than a 'sister organisation' to the Arab League.

A shocking but true account of how the UN has itself strayed from it's original mandate and how an organisation of terror has subverted the high ideals of the UN by fanning the flames of anti-Semitism and legitimising terrorism against the Jewish state of Israel.

This is a penetrating study of what goes on behind the scenes of the UN and reveals scandalous procedures which most of the public have no awareness of.

Without the documentation of the author, it is difficult to fathom the depths of hatred and hypocrisy emanating from the UN towards the Jewish state of Israel.

Since joining the UN in 1949, Israel has been largely ostracized at the forum. It is too often the object of condemnatory resolutions, usually sponsored by an overwhelmingly Arab-based majority that, together with an ever present army of supporting nations, is nearly always successful in passing any and all resolutions that vilify or condemn Israel.

Israel is the ONLY nation still not allowed to belong to one of the five regional groups in which much of the closed-door realpoliticking takes place. Admission to any group requires unanimous consent of the group's member nations and to date Israel has not been able to obtain this despite it's 53 year long membership of the UN.

Membership of the UN Security Council has ALWAYS been denied to Israel, yet Arab nations frequently sit upon the Council, often two Arab nations at a time. Syria recently being the head of the UN Security Council, despite being a sponsor of state terrorism, the base of countless terrorist organisations and publicly sworn to the eradication of the state of Israel !

Again, UN Security Council resolutions are always swayed against Israel before voting even begins. Without the occasional US veto, virtually any anti-Israeli resolution would be passed.

The UN's predecessor, the League of Nations failed to prevent the rise of Hitler, the outbreak of World War II, of policies of genocide that slaughtered six million Jews. Revelations here show the same impotence in the face of the same racial hatred which could again see the same policies resurrected.

This book has received rave reviews from those who are knowledgeable about the UN and I would highly recommend that this book be re-printed and amended to include recent events, corroborating the revelations of the author, which are occurring at an alarming rate.

It can be seen from the facts outlined here that compliance with any UN Resolutions pertaining to the Arab-Israeli issue was of absolutely no concern whatsoever to the Arab world when it sought the genocide of the Jewish people/state from their midst in 1948, 1967 and 1973. Yet, having been successful in now obtaining UN Security Council Resolutions against Israel through the manipulation so well outlined herein, the Arab world is now beginning to demand military and political implementation of these UN Resolutions very much on a par with the attitude now being shown against Iraq.

Without books such as these and the courage of the authors to make the truth known, we risk being swept away on a new tide of anti-Semitic fervour, whose end does not bear thinking about.

Very highly recommended.....as is a re-release and update of this book. Publishers take note please.

The deepest layer of the I Ching
This fascinating book balances rigorous historical research with a respect for the profundity of the *I Ching*. Marshall argues that the central text, the "Zhouyi", contains identifiable historical references to events in ancient China. Specifically, Marshall argues that the date of the Conquest of the Shang Dynasty by what would become the Zhou Dynasty can be located in the year 1070 BCE, on the basis of evidence in the "Zhouyi" --- including a hitherto undetected reference to a solar eclipse in the text of Hexagram #55! In the course of his argument, he brings to life the semi-mythical figures of King Wen & King Wu (virtuous founders of the Zhou Dynasty) and Zhou Xin (depraved tyrant, last Shang ruler). He cogently suggests specific links between Shang bone oracles and the text of the "Zhouyi". By citing Chinese characters in the text, and providing a glossary of them in the back, he allows the reader to feel a part of the detective work he is doing. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone with an interest in ancient China and to anyone who works seriously with the *I Ching*. The former will find historical bases for figures often dismissed as mythological, while the latter will find profoundly meaning depth in some of the *I Ching's* inscrutable phrases.

Fun AND Functional
I was surprised at how excellent this book is. After having perused the run of dating "how to" books, I had admittedly low expectations - but Dave Singleton gives advice, perspectives, and thought-provoking stories in a way that's entertaining, engaging, and - most importantly - respectful of the reader.

I was most impressed by the book's approach, that dating is a process toward whatever goal the reader might have - monogamy, dating a couple of guys, whatever. That and the positive, encouraging, but never condescending or "talking down" tone of the book made it a lot of fun to read - and a functional tool in the world of gay male dating.

I just bought a dozen copies of this for all my dating gay male friends. Thanks, Dave!

MUST HAVE for anyone studying the presidency
Patricia Conley's book provides a must needed boost to presidential scholarship, which has unfortunately experienced a decline in popularity among academics (excepting, of course, the clamor to publish anything related to Bush v. Gore).
Conley shows that there ARE STILL interesting aspects of the presidency that have yet to be researched. In the long run, the book's most valuable contribution may be its potential for explaining the early legislative successes of President Bush (who by any reasonable standard had no mandate whatsoever).
Conley has also managed to write a book that is accessible AND interesting to a variety of readers. Her book is well written, with enough substantive information to pique the interest of undergrads and casual readers but with enough well designed statistical analyses to satisfy even the most ardent of number crunchers.

Creedalism Castigated
This book comes of not only an intellectual endeavour for Dr. Pool, but also of personal interest. Having experienced the use of creeds (whether overtly or covertly) as a "litmus test" in his work at a large theological seminary, Pool has shifted his attention to not only exposing creedalism as a "non-Baptist principle" within the Southern Baptist Convention and its agencies, but he has recruited the work of some well-respected scholars (among them, the late William Estep) to offer some helpful critiques of the Baptist Faith and Message. Beginning with a textual criticism of the BFM 1963, Pool traces some of its clauses and theology to other confessions of faith that served as guides and reference tools for it. The work of the other authors offer some theoretical and practical insight for the utilisation of the 1963 BFM (now long since amended) within contemporary contexts, informed by new critiques and theological traditions, to be used by both pastor and layperson alike.

Viet Nam Era Suspense Novel!
Review for "The Valkyrie Mandate" by Robert Vaughan

The story is set in Saigon, 1963. American Colonel Justin Barclay, long time resident of Viet Nam, is watching a power struggle unfold in this country he has come to love. He is called in by the government to assist with a coupe that will have tremendous consequences for all. Torn by duty and love for the abused wife of the political dicator, Barkclay has manipulate a game where no one can be trusted, and no one can afford to lose.

An excellent historical work that takes the reader back to the beginning of the Viet Nam war- bringing to life a confusing and intensely precarious situation that most American's know about, but few understand. This novel pulls you into into the war itself through its very real characters and it's suspense. All in all, a great read!

A corner of the past brought to life
Howard Berlin's book, The Coins and Banknotes of Palestine Under the British Mandate, 1927-1947, is the perfect reference for anyone interested in collecting this series. The Palestine Mandate period provided the prologue to all the current tensions of the Middle East, and the design of the coins and notes was done in such a way as to give all the communities living there an equal and unbiased monetary system. As an "accidental" collector of the coin series, I was particularly impressed to learn of the great rarity of some of the coins and in particular of the higher denomination banknotes. I definitely recommend this book to any serious collector.

Great reference material
As an avid collector of Palestine coins and currency, I found this book to be exceptionally well written, and the subject matter very well researched. There's plenty of other stuff that 's included in the book that makes it even better. Dr . Berlin is obviously an authority on this subject. I was very impressed with the information on how some of the high denomination notes changed hands, for how much, and to who.

Very good referance
As an avid collector of Palestine coins and Banknotes, I found this book to be very informative, based on serious and detailed research , and written by someone that is obviously an authority on the subject. The information on the historical sales of the high denomination items interested me a lot. Also, the information on the canceled notes was the first that I have seen. I would have wanted to see more photos included , maybe photos of where they printed the notes or minted the coins. Overall, I give this book a very high rating !!!!

Brand Building Taken to a New Level!
I served as the head of global marketing for The Coca-Cola Company and my regret is that I did not have the insight and approach of The Masterbrand Mandate to guide me during that tenure. This is a superb work that takes the concept of branding to an entirely new level of analysis and understanding. I salute Upshaw and Taylor and encourage anyone involved in branding at the practitioner or academic level to quickly get a copy of this marvelous book. It will become certainly a part of any future course I teach at the University of California at Berkeley.

Mandated Reading
Beyond its many useful strategic insights, *The Masterbrand Mandate* drives home two concepts that all by themselves qualify the book as required reading. First is the idea of creating a "brand community" that empowers customers with a healthy personal "ownership" of your brand -- so that they truly make it "theirs" and serve as an intimate, ongoing feedback loop that not only helps you better manage your brand but also helps drive customer acquisition through satisfied community members. The book offers great guidance in brand community building for marketing executives and CEOs alike. Second is a customer-empathetic philosophy and attitude toward coaching the people in your company who must serve as customer advocates if a successful, sustainable community is to be built. The book is a guide to doing this in ways that will help reduce customer stress to build brand loyalty and create competitive advantage. Many of the book's useful examples clearly come from the first-hand experience of the seasoned consultants who wrote it, rather than over-relying on cases reported by third parties like so many other marketing books. I highly recommend The Masterbrand Mandate.

Worth My Investment Dollar!
Upshaw brings real advice that can be used. Yes, used! This versus so many other authors attempts to sell books rather than offer useful information that can actually move an organization big or small in a forward and focused direction. The authors extensive business background with a world leading company was one of the reasons I intitally looked at this title. Weary of so many "self help" branding books I took pause to review the index for clues as to its research. I wasn't disappointed and nor will you if you invest the time to read this volume of value and practical advice.

Christian Mandates for a New Millennium : Essays of a Religious and Social Liberal

Well-Intentioned and Good Message
The author of this book has excellent intentions. I admire Rev. Willoughby's religious beliefs, and it is clear that he is a sincere advocate for progressive social change. I found myself nodding in agreement with mostly everything expressed in the book. Some of Willoughby's personal experiences are moving, especially some of his stories about the civil rights movement.

Unfortunately, his writing style lacks a persuasive punch to motivate readers. Rev. William Sloane Coffin's book "The Heart is a Little to the Left" makes many of the same arguments as Willoughby in a more rhetorically eloquent way that does a better job of directly encouraging change.

A Challenge to Fundamentalism
In the era of Falwell and the Christian Right here is a breath of fresh air and a challenge to look again at their harsh and legalistic interpretation of the teachings of Jesus. Lessons that may have been forgotten of compassion, civility, and social resposibility are again illuminated in terms entirely familiar to those of us living in the last year of the 20th century. If you still believe in a God of infinite love and compassion this is a must read.

Highly recommended for pasters and lay congregation readers.
In Christian Mandates For A New Millennium: Essays Of A Religious And Social Liberal, Reverend Willoughby, twenty years a Methodist minister and twelve years a Unitarian minister, discusses a variety of important issues from a Christian perspective including racism, homophobia, sexism, war and peace, capital punishment, Biblical literalism, "comfortable" religion, and the dangers of televangelists and the religious right. Willoughby makes clear that dividing issues into sacred and secular is a serious mistake because social and political beliefs affect religious beliefs resulting in a policy of non-inclusiveness on the part of the Christian community, such as the church's stand against homosexuality. Christian Mandates For A New Millennium is highly recommended reading for pastors and lay congregation members alike.
