As soon as I saw this cookery book I had to buy it. It basically 'does what it says on the label'. It has a fantastic range of recipes which give you preparation times and cooking times (all of which will be ready to eat in half an hour). At the foot of each page you also are given all of the nutritional info you need if you are trying to watch your calorie intake/fat intake. Well illustrated and easy to follow recipes. What more do you need in a cookery book. Well there is one more thing a great price. Love it!

This book is an up to date guide to help navigate the foreign property market. I was especially glad to see that it was written in plain easy to read "english"- meaning I could understand it..........

Approximately equally divided between CED and LaserDisc player repair, this book covers CED player repair in fairly general terms. It is a good adjunct to the player's service manual, since the manufacturer service literature assumes the repairer already has a theoretical understanding of CED signal processing and system control. John D. Lenk has written many electronic service books, and is good at explaining things in lay person terms.

As the editor of the Log Cabin Directory, I often receive books from authors seeking a review and most offer good advice about this topic. Few of the books I own, or have reviewed are as comprehensive as this book by the father and son team, Clyde and Jeff Cremer. Their title, "The Complete Guide to Log Homes", says it all... this is an all-inclusive guide for anyone thinking about building or buying a log home.

Excellent book! Very Descriptive and detailed information. This book will fill in so much for those who want to repair and maintain or modify their own sails.It lists all supplies needed aboard,quick or permanent solutions to most issues. Lots of good illustrations. An excellent resource book.Easy to understand. I would also recommend The Sailmakers Apprentice, by Emiliano Marino. If you have the two, you don't need anything else!!Both are well worth their cost and are good value!!!

Excellent book for beginner to pro! This book makes it easy to keep your PC running healthy and troubleshoot potential problems.
I have Troubleshooting, Mainaining & Repairing PCs by Bigelow. I came to a couple conclusions:
1. I am not likely to upgrade, repair or physically install components. Therefore, I do not need a book about upgrading or installing.
2. I would rather keep this paperback on my desk, instead of Bigelow's Hardcover, 1000+ pages.

This book is great. It talks about tools and techniques for all kinds of home repairs. It recommends what tools everyone needs for basic repairs, and which tools are useful but aren't necessary. If you are a first-time homeowner like I am, and you've never had to deal with this subject before, this is your book.

This is a helpful resource when planning and constructing your irrigation projects ranging from drip, microsprayers, to impulse sprinkler use. Handy formulas help determine watering needs, especially for those who have been so blessed to have water meters. I am fortunate to still have use of a well so I do not face metering cost issues, only electricity usage. Great reference for the do-it-yourself individuals and those who are hiring contractors and want to know what they are trying to tell you before the job begins. Better to have a little knowledge than none at all when dealing with contractors or vendors who will sell you anything, if you are not well-informed. Have fun and enjoy your ornamental and edible landscapes!

If you are going to own a Sprite or Midget with a 1275cc engine this is a have to have book.
I found that the part on the transmission was wondeful in that it allowed me to rebuild mine after a snapped 1st 2nd gear assembly. I also replaced the baluk rings for the syncros.
the special tools the recommend can be improvized using 3 19cent bic pin caps and a 4 inch steel hose clamp

all in all a book Icould not have rebuilt the engine and transmission with out.
