Maintenance

I must say for it's limited catagory it is the best book on the Rover V8 I could find in the States. I found a few mathmatical errors that hinder it in it's technical signifigance. This sounds like a week criticism but there are alot of numbers involved. It is, however, very concise and an excellent start for readers looking for information and sourses for building an exciting powerplant.

If there is one book that is a "Must Have" for the lawn maintenance Pro it is this one. Explanations from why lawn maintenance is a good business to detailed information on how to manage and run your business. Keep it in your work truck, it will come in handy for weeds and chemicals etc. If you are serious about being a professional and setting your self apart from the rest in your field, buy this book.

Golf course superintendants and turfgrass managers all seem to concur that the major expense of any professional turf is not the initial cost of construction, but rather, the cost and commitment required for its maintenance.

Few textbooks specifically address this issue, but Dr. Brede's book does. He presents, in great detail, and with a view towards educating the reader, why the choice of a turfgrass is critical, how to make that choice, and how to maintain it with less-intensive management practices than may currently be in vogue.

Subsequent chapters develop strategies for reducing maintenance, based on the results of current research: use less fertilizer, use less water, and lighten mowing. These are presented after a step-by-step procedure for establishing/renovating a turf area, as well as a practical treatment on turf soils, discussing issues such as thatch, soil compaction, and the effects of salts. He also presents strategies for controlling insects/pests on turfgrasses, many of which employ changes in management practices rather than application of chemicals. Also, don't miss the appendix, which is an exhaustive list of unconventional turfgrasses.

Dr. Brede's advice is based on his own field experience, combined with his education and research in the turfgrass sciences, and may be some of the best-kept secrets in the turfgrass industry.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is planning a new construction or the reconstruction of a turf area-choose the correct turfgrass for your site, and maintain it with a less-intensive management program. You'll likely spend less money and have more time to enjoy using the turf than struggling with its maintenance

This is a very excellent review of urology for the general public. It is very comprehensive,yet easy to read and understand. The illustrations are also extremely helpful. This book should be a standard to every man and woman since it deals with the common health problems that many men and their spouses encounter. The information is very up to date and is presented in a extremely interesting and informative fashion. I would very highly recommend this to all.

This book is organized, well-written, and brilliant.

This book was wonderful. It explained everything that you needed and didn't go into to much detail on on specific detail. I now use this book as a reference. It has Appendix A-E and each appendix talks about something different, like he tells you where you where you can buy the things you want and who manufatures them. I love the glossery, whenever I was reading and I didn't know what it was it was sure to be in the glossary and in perfect detail! I recommend this book to whoever wants to learn about computers and how to solve simple problems that would cost you $$$ to go to a place and have them fix it.

Having little to no experience in electronic repair or installation, one can easily follow this text "to turn a 486 computer into a state-of-the-art Pentium." It's written in elementary level language with just the right amount of diagrams to illustrate its contents. If you have the 'knack' to tinker, want a better computer but lack the funds like the rest of us, then this book is for you!

Excellent book, well written in easy to understand language.
This book makes an excellent desktop reference for the computer technician.
I like how Tom Sheldon divides the different areas of upgrading a computer into parts and chapters,each chapter begins with an overview and ends with a summary. Instead of wading through pages of material,you can go to the specific chapter that you need.
Also I like how Tom Sheldon includes lots of illustrations,step by step instructions,and online resources to save you hours of research. To top it off,he even includes a web address for updates to the book.
If you're an HP owner and want to upgrade or just know more about your computer then this book is all you need.
