As a CPA I know nothing about car repairs or servicing. I have always trusted the industry to take care of me. Now I know how they have been ripping me off and because of this book I have the confidence to have my vehicle serviced and know I will never be scammed again. It is very enlightening and well worth the money spent.

This book serves two purposes: It is an excellent introduction to the fuel, ignition, and emission systems in modern cars. Also, it serves as an in depth reference book for technician's or automotive engineers.

This book has been out of print for years and it is hands down the best book out there on roadracing a motorcycle. Code's books are obtuse and difficult to read and this is simple and direct from one of the most talented roadracers ever. It covers set-up, training, bike prep, testing and more. All more from the perspective of what Roberts did when he raced rather than a step by step process of "how to". The book is ghost written in the first person and is a little cocky (which you'd expect) and dated (since it was written in the 80's) but none of this really detracts as it's a fantastic insight into one of the greatest racers of our time. If you race motorcycles you must have this in your library.

A lot of people think repairing lawn mowers is a hard thing to do.I tell you from experience,that learning how to repair my own lawn mower is a big money saver for me. To do some repairs most people all ready have the tools to do the job,what am I talking about? Wrenches,sockets,screwdrivers etc. But what realy makes the job go easier is repair mannuals. They give you all the specks,tune up procedures and trouble shooting guides etc. So buy any lawn mower repair mannual and give it a try!

This manual provides unbelievable quantity and quality of information relative to all types of tennis courts.

A must have for anyone that has a tennis court or is contemplating a tennis court.

Step by step, Naujok shows, in many colour photos, how to build and finish a boat's interior (furniture, plumbing, lining, carpeting). Very little text, but the photos are self explanatory, and they show the process, the details and the final result (often outstanding). It fills the gap left by Ferenc Maté's "From a Bare Hull", which should be an adequate complement to Naujok's (or viceversa) and Nigel Calder's Boatowner Manual.

The "This Old House Team" of experts guide you through every possible repair any homeowner may encounter. The wording is easy-to-read and understand. There is none of the technical jargon in the book that other home repair books have I have purchased . I love this book from the very begining. The entire book, with its detailed explanations and illustrations, are very user friendly.

If you own a home - you need this book.

This is a wonderful book if you are just getting into the hobby of restoring pinballs. It covers a great deal on EM machines. A very interesting book!

This book is perfect for anyone who owns a home--especially and older home. From the first chapter, which describes in detail how to strip a room down to its bare bones, to others which describe how to make repairs to staircases, wallpaper around arches and other obstacles, lay flooring, etc., this book is packed with information and step by step instructions. Each chapter is divided into different tasks (for instance, the chapter on refinishing a hardwood floor separates out the tasks of sanding, repairing cracks, replacing a damaged board, and others), and each task is summarized with an approximate skill level, working time, and tools needed.

Great book.

Although not up-to-date with all the fancy computer parts in today's auto's. this book is a great intro to young adults on the basics of auto engines, brakes, etc. A great gift for a niece/nephew/son/daughter/grandchild...
