Probably great because it only really covers a single model. Very clear and easy read.

We all know that Mike Meyers is go to man for A+ and that is All-In-One Guide is a huge success and that a great number of people, including myself, owe him a huge bit of thanks for helping us to pass the exams. Now imagine taking the best parts of his guides and break it down even further and that is exactly what has been done here in this book.

The book is an excellent study tool for passing the A+ exams as both the Core and OS exam are covered in the 950 plus pages. One thing that could be added in future updates is a few more exercises. And once again as with other books from Mike, this one has material I have not seen anywhere else before. I also found that this book is current with the newest exams, which is another plus.

The thing that has always impressed me is the way that Mike Meyers can explain any topic. He is able to convey the concepts and ideas without boring the reader; in fact several students in my current A+ Class have found this manual to clear up some confusion from the study guides we are currently using.

The cd included has several practice exams and some videos you can use as additional study tools. The Learn Key Videos does a hardware check before allowing you to run the video demos, which is a good thing since 1 of my machines was not hardware ready. As with the written material, Mike is even better in the video segments with his use of real life situations and examples.

If you are just getting started and need a first step in the right direction, than let this book be the pace is all begins. Overall just another superb effort from Mike Meyers.

this manual has far the best information and diagrams anyone could ever ask for. It is very detailed step by step guides to help you diagnos the vehicle you are working on.

If you own a boat then you understand that B.O.A.T is an acronym for Bring Out Another Thousand (dollars). Anyone who owns a boat, unless that boat is new, and has not yet been used will be forced to deal to boat maintainence issues. This book will help you to do some if this maintainence yourself so you don't have to spend a fortune to keep your boat running.

If you have a powerboat, a rowboat, or a sailboat then I recommend this book. This also makes a great gift for any boat owner.

One thing that I really like about this book is that there are lots of pictures and diagrams to help you understand what they are talking about. When you are doing work on a boat, sometimes one picture can be worth a thousand words.

It is obvious that the people writing this book really know what they are doing. This was not written by amatuers.

So if you have major repairs to deal with, or you just want to understand how your boat was built, this is the book for you.

Modern Marine Salvage is not just for salvage professionals: anyone who has followed the story of the wreck of the New Carissa in Oregon will find this book interesting and educational. Bill Milwee's knowledge and 30+ years of salvage experience are evident in every page.

This book contains excellent photography of old cars and gas stations. Although most of the pictures were taken around the Pacific Northwest, specifically Grays Harbor County, Washington, the quality of the photographs is terrific. Great for antique car buffs. And by the way, it isn't out of print. Just contact the author.

This book is intended primarily for motorcyclist but almost any enthusiast who likes cars and bikes will enjoy reading it. The book covers chassis, tyres, suspension, brakes and development. Most of the information here is theoretical but beginners would probably find it very useful. There are lots of useful formulas, (e.g. how to drill brake discs properly). It ends with some useful programs written in BASIC which is quite dated since everyone is using C++ these days. I refer to this book and its companion book on 4 stroke engine tuning regularly for information and would feel lost without them. Don't expect a lot of nuts-and-bolts info, however, it's mostly theoretical, but VERY useful.

Mountain Bike Maintenance And Repair by Thomas Roegner is a comprehensive and up-to-date instructional to keeping a mountain bike and equipment in tip-top shape for long trips. A meticulous text is decidedly enhanced by full-color photographs which demonstrate everything from basic cleaning and preventive maintenance; to repairs on the trail side; and overhauls to exact maximum performance from one's equipment. Covering just about every piece of biking equipment imaginable, Mountain Bike Maintenance And Repair is an absolute "must-have" instructional and reference for any dedicated mountain biker.

It's a great book. I learned everything I know from this book, and I'm geting ready to start my own bicycle repair shop.

The scheduled maintenance is easy to perform without much initial start-up cost for tools. I have a modest garage-based work shop, (Workbench, vice grip, electric drill, and a few common hand tools hanging on the peg board) and I have been able to perform almost all of the maintenance routines unassisted, right here at home. Although, a decent set of ratchets would facilitate greatly.

Whether you jut out, stand out, stick out, poke out, stick up, bristle up, shoot up, swell over, hang over or bend over (Severe, but fortunately rare) you will find a perfect maintenance routine for your Schnozzle, Honker, Gibbosity, Hump, Beak, Hooter, Bulb, Node,. . . I have removed 30 years off my Wafter and can now flair my nostrils like a tyke of 20. Check out the chapter on "Chiseling the Dashing Profile."
