I am a contractor and I began using this book when I started getting into this feild 8 years ago and I still use it for reference today.It has saved me time and money so many times it has been well worth the money I paid for this excellent book.

I know the spanish edition of this book. It is outdated in the description of some instrumental techniques of diagnostic. It is not so complete and schematic like other books about sport injuries. By the contrary the main interest of the book is to teach about how the body work and the ways to prevent the most common injuries, including many effects of aging. It is intended for a slow reading more than as a reference book. Dr. Nagler explain very well a lot of good exercises and give sensible advices wich are difficult (or impossible) to find in this kind of literature. I think it is complementary with books as nice as Dr. Micheli's sports medicine bible, but Dr. Nagler's book is the best and the essential one for me.

I found this book to be most helpful. I say this for many reasons, however it professes that happiness is within everyone, it is your choice weather or not to find it.

The fact that it may be the one and only is beside the point! Anyone attempting to maintain or restore one of these Ducati models would be well served to buy Walker's book. The price is steep, but the money will be very well spent.

The author, Mick Walker, is unusual in that he is a well respected expert, yet he avoids the slavish PR blather common to many Ducati writers. He paid his dues as a long time dealer and rider, and his approach to the bikes is respectful but pragmatic. Walker writes in a clear, easily readable style. He comes across as someone to spend a few hours drinking beers with in the garage while wrenching on that old Ducati.

The book is also full of excellent photographs, exploded diagrams, and a comprehensive technical specifications section. The text includes exhaustive detail on and the strengths and weaknesses of everything from paint colors to the various electrical systems. More important, it includes useful insights and practical recommendations derived from years of hard work, trial and error. Based on the age and increasing rarity of these machines, Walker's book is an invaluable resource.

One of the most appealing aspects of the book is that it depicts a dollarwise approach to restoring or owning a Ducati. Most motorcyclists may find that laughable, but, if so, they haven't read Walker's book. This is gem.

I don't know about Earl Proulux, but I have yet to see anything by Yankee that didn't have a lot of value for reading and gleaning information. This book, like anything else put out by Yankee, is worth it's weight in platinum.

If you are considering putting in a low maintenance lawn or meadow suited to your local climate, this is the book for you. I have not found anything to compare with the information packed in this slim volume. The authors examine the requirments of each geographic region and each type of grass available in detail, and even give a list of sources. With the information I gleaned here, I'm ready to get started on my own project this year. Without this book, I wouldn't have know where to begin.

My Rogers City High School students were able to completely understand the parts of a PC because of Laplante's book. They even dismantled and rebuilt some old machines by the end of the semester! Needs a 3rd edition!

I have had the pleasure(if you want to call it that) of being on the so called state addiction for almost 12 years, and in my opinion we were made to be their lab rats to test this so called wonder drug on,and let me tell you this right from the outset IT DOES NOT DO WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO. They tell you that there is no side effects-WRONG there are plenty,but I'll let you find this out for yourselves.No, I'm not being cruel, but if you end up being put onto methadone,my advice to you is to get off it as quickly as you possibly can. There is also a good side to it,that being no more stealing, no more injecting with other people's tools, and you get your fix for nothing eveyday without fail.But you must sign a Contract telling them that you will become a slave to their every whim etc. Me myself have been on 200mls for almost 4 years,and I must pick this up and drink it in front of the chemist and whoever else happens to be there at the time. To be truthful I wish they had gave me the choice of Heroin in cigarettes,I would have jumped at the chance. A) Because it is a lot easier to come off than methadone B) The withdrawel period is not anything like what it is coming of green ginger. C) Their seems to be a lot more help coming off heroin than there is coming of the juice. D) There is no need to become an expert liar just to get what you actually need, and not what they think you need. E) There is a big difference between what you actually need and what you end up getting. This book has its own spot on my workbench, because it has everything you need to know about electric cooling, accessory drive belts, and water pumps. get this book if you plan to install or amke a cooling system or water pump.

Mr. Schoenbeck has put to words what he helped me learn about video and television operation and Maintenance of Video systems. He was an Professor at DeVRY Institute of Technology, Phoenix. The book brings learning to life as if I were back in his classroom. Thank you Mr. Schoenbeck.
