This manual is very detailed in the maintainance, operation, and repair of all 4-cyl TR-7 automobiles. No information is given for the 116 early rover V-8 Variants, but who has one! This tool by far outshines any "Auto Parts Store" manual. This manual includes the drivers handbook, wire diagrams, step by step flow chart style troubleshooting guides, and a list of other very helpful publications. I would recommend this book to any 7 owner. Happy Motoring!

Mark Minasi wrote the book, The Complete PC Upgrade and Maintenance Guide and it was a proven winner. Now we have the perfect addition to that book and hands-on lab manual that makes learning easier and fun and will help even the most experienced technician.

The manual includes 41 labs that have you working on memory, hard and floppy drives, modems, irq conflicts, troubleshooting, upgrading and everything in between. Also included are lab reports, which will help you, track your progress along the way.

The appendix included covers the four essential upgrades, the power supply, the hard drive, the floppy drive and the scsi card. Missing from this book is a cd-rom with utilities and questions. Also the book should have been tailored around the A+ Certification.

Overall a good value for the money and the authors are very complete and thorough in the lab they give you. As with any lab manual there is only so many ways to do things, you can substitute your own problems for those in the book if you need to. A handy book for computer schools as well.

These two books were extremely helpful in getting me through the two A+ exams. they were recommended to me by my tutor when I did the A+ course. I am now a tutor at the school where I learned A+ and so have gotten back the money that I spent to buy the books and a lot more. Now that I am a tutor I am in turn recommending them to my students and have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody who doing or thinking of doing the A+ exams. The practice exams that come on the CD are almost identical to the Sylvan Prometric Format so you will be comfortable when you sit the exams

Great pictures and ideas. Well worth the money even if you only use it for only one of the projects in this book.

Written in layman's terms, Art Margolis exposes the complex world of computers in a friendly, easy to read format. The text is accompanied by numerous illustrations and charts. This is an excellent beginner's book.

CTH is also an enjoyable and informative "read" for the programmer. A significant portion of the book explains the interactions of discreet components on a logical or bitwise level, using numerous block diagrams for additional clarity. This book provides an introduction to instruction sets, assemblers, and architecture of 8-32 bit processors.

The text is somewhat dated because of its publication date. As a beginner's book however, much of its contents are applicable to the budding computer technician.

This Book is a very simplified explanation of the problem. It had me moving with good materials and refrences to create awareness at our company. The examples are clear and to the point. When our company initiated the project, the reading of this book was the first assignment for each team member. Eventually, it moved every one and it was a success.

The author, one of the most important person in this subject, got an general but complete approaching in all techniques used nowadays, and in several practical aspects that will help the engineer in the problems faced with designing, inattalation, operation and maintenance of this systems. Besides this, there are interestings explanations concerning to the principles of measurement of each system. This book has been the best souce of research in my post graduation thesis

This books reviews the control strategies of HVAC Systems. There are various control strategies and this book illustrates them with system drawings.The first 2 parts that introduce the control theory and the control devices could be boring for an experienced engineer however useful for a student or a graduate.

I followed the procedures in the book and converted a 48 foot classic Consolidated 1931 wooden hull to fiberglass. I did this 20 years ago. the yacht is like new today!!
