This book is very thorough in talking about how to create extra horsepower. It explains things in a way that the performance racer, as well as the common person will easily understand.

To do home improvement projects around your property require lot of CASH. However, doing it by yourself will save you a lot$$$. I did buy the book and I was able to revise many ideas about how to do it, specially the concret and cement parts. The book illustrate the steps in graphic and word. When and if follow the idea of each step, you will do it right and you will accomplish your goal of doing it faster, better and cheaper. I have many books contains few stuff similar of what this book have, non of them comprehensive as this. The book is precis and accurate based on science and engineering experience. Sammy Ayyad

The book is an excellent primer and provides sufficient guidance for even a novice though a basic knowledge of hand tools is necessary. The instructions are clear and though the illustrations are hardly artistic they are a good visual companion. If you are in a remote or secluded area and away from the utility infrastructure, and building codes, this is one of the best books to start doing it yourself with a rustic flaire.

In reading this book, I found David Samuels to write in a conversational tone, neither talking down to the reader, nor talking over the reader's head. The book is a great resource for the newcomer or beginner in capitated managed care negotiations. I highly recommend it!

Very informative servicing book for the owners of older models of caravan. Very detailed info and pictures of the usual caravan servicing chores.

This book is one of a set of volumes, I have three of these and all are very good, very inforative, as good as the Sam's Photofacts series of CB repair manuals

The publication of this book was cancelled months ago. If you need to study for the A+ exam, buy Mark's other book, "Upgrading and Repairing PCs: A+ certification Study Guide."

Speaking of the A+ cert text: I actually purchased it for my own use as I was cramming for the A+ cert myself and I only have one thing to say: wow! If you need any blurbs for this text, just say the word and I will say wonderful things about it to anyone who'll listen- Any prospective A+ student should certainly have a solid foundation in the various hardware/software principles in addition to this text, but for the brute memorization and getting acclimated to the testing atmosphere, this is THE text- I just finished passing both halves of the certification and this text was a large part of it; sooooo since the college has asked me to teach certification in the spring, I'll be using the Schmidt tome in addition to the usual "overview" type text.
