As a newly diagnosed person, this is one of the first books that I read. The explanation of CFIDS and general treatments available is well written. Author sites his specific symptoms and how it has affected his life, which at times is painful to read. My favorite chapters included the one on dealing with family and friends and the interview with the doctor from Massachusetts. This interview lends credibility to the disease and was concise. Most of the stuff on how to do low-level programming with assembler in DOS is course out of date, unless that's an area that's really interesting to you, perhaps you're a hobby programmer working in a DOS-enviroment (like me!), then this book will have extra vaule of course.

Otherwise, it's a useful book about computer animation in general, and is worth picking up for this information if you can find it at a second-hand store or on some site like e-bay.

It's an incredible telling of the world of falconry in the middle ages. It describes just about everything in detail and is a wonderful resource not only for historical falconry but for modern falconry.

First off, this was a good book. But of course there are going to be downsides, as there is to this one. My main complaint is the first time I tried to read this book, it went way over my head. This is a book for people who know a bit about DOS already, but this is sort of an advanced study handbook, as I see it. All around a decent book though.

A good introduction to batch files and a very useful desk reference. When it comes to batch files I check this book first then the IBM command reference. I use batch files with my windows 98, ( notepad just cries write a batch file!) . Even though written in 1991, it still covers the basics. Dan's hunt for the elusive "master environment" is entertaining and informative.

This book, in my humble opinion, is perhaps the best guide out there for anyone who wishes (or needs) to learn more about DOS version 6.2 (and 6.22). Although not geared towards the first-time user, the book nonetheless does not swamp the reader with much technical jargon, as do many others of this type. Well done!!

I have read this book and applied it's easy to understand techniques. This book showed me how to learn DOS-Guaranteed!
