I grew up reading the Little Miss and Mr. Men series, and I have only rediscovered them. They are great little morality tales, with simple characters and a simple lesson.

Little Miss Late features the great cartoon art of Mr. Hargreaves, and teaches young children the ramifications of lateness.

Great children's reading. I am amassing a collection for my future children.

This is a good book to use to discuss shyness with children. They can learn that they can overcome their shyness one step at a time and by overcoming it they can have more fun and not be alone all of the time. This is also great series for vocabulary and pronunciation. My daughter really enjoys the characters.

Lois Lenski's handsome black and white drawings and simple text tell wonderful stories about Policeman Small, Cowboy Small, Farmer Small, etc. This is a great book for pre-schoolers. My two and one-half year old son loved the story of Cowboy Small. A delightful book to share with the little ones in your life.

The stories are amusing and techniques helpful and very consistent. A very helpful and fun book.
