This is such a wonderful story of a "misfit" who found out that it doesn't matter who you are or what you look like, that "someone will love you just for being you"...it's exactly the kind of message we should be giving to our children! Not only is the message great, but kids love the "prickly, stickly" hair!!! :)

The entertaining fox Mr. Fixit makes it easy for young children to grasp the idea of opposites. Up, down...in, out...backwards, forwards...plus a variety of other familiar opposites are described in both words and illustrations to make it fun and effortless for kids to comprehend.

Emmett William's Mr Fluxus is a collective portrait of the founder of the Fluxus group. Maciunas was a typographer, visual designer, teacher and organizer. He was a constant source of ideas, and worked tirelessly to produce them. At various times now famous artists such as Beuyes, Ono and Paik joined a loose band of others. They participated in FluxFests, produced FluxGames and objects and sold them in FluxShops. His FluxHouses were among the seeds of today's SOHO. Among the ironies of his life , is that many of his ideas have led to financial success for others, while he lived a spartan life and suffered financial disasters. The book is a collective of anonymous quotes as Fluxus was a collective. The quotes are attributed at the end, but the form si sometimes confusing. Williams and Ay-O have produced a valuable document for scholars and art lovers. They had the advantage of being insiders with access to many who might not choose to cooperate, and to know many others who might be too obscure. They also spoke to artists while they were still alive about Fluxus. Al Hansen, Dick Higgins, Peter Moore and Dieter Roth are no longer available to us. The book presents George Maciunas in all of his complexity. Fluxus has had a role in the genesis of Performance art and Conceptual art. This book will help us remember him in his context.

This book is truly a one of a kind. It has such a wide variety of recipes to choose from , such as Pat Dementrys APPLE CAKE-to- Joan Rivers TOAST. The tidbits and little facts about the hosts and QVC will keep you interested as well as entertained. All in all this book makes some darn good recipes as well as some good reading. I was GLAD when I added this book to my collection of MR. FOOD books.

Mr. Food is wonderful. I am not a cooking marvel. However, all of the Mr. Food recipes I have tried taste great and are not difficult. The food actually tastes the way it is supposed to, which for me is quite an accomplishment. My family really enjoyed the Better Baked Ziti. I will certainly be trying other Mr. Food cookbooks

I wouldn't have thought that the topic of chilled and frozen desserts would make for an entire cookbook, but I was wrong. If you enjoy entertaining, making chilled and frozen desserts ahead of time is a real help on the day of the event. And typical of Mr. Food, all the recipes sound both good and easy to fairly easy.

After having seen Mr. Food on TV I decided that having one of his cookbooks was a must! The stories are entertaining and the recipes are presented in a manner that says "try me, try me". The ingredients are not exotic and picky eaters will not be questioning the recipe because of the appearance. My family is always asking for Mr. Food's Spinach Quiche, the Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Gibson's Garbage Salad.

The perfect gift for the DESSERT LOVER! Easily read and followed recipes for cookies and cakes and breads and muffins...pies...cobblers and frostings..and more! Each page of this 150 book has a recipe on it. It's very reader-friendly. Mr. Food adds a personal comment on the recipe at the top of every page. I also like the size of this hard-covered book (6 1/2 by 9 1/2). It is easily stored in my small kitchen. Favorites in our home are the "no-bake cheesecake" and "impossible chocolate cream pie"! You make it in one bowl, no flour to roll out, easy and FAST and one of the best I have tasted. This cookbook by Mr. Food clearly the best one in my collection.

It's really too bad that all the Mr. Food cookbooks are going out of print. They are the greatest!!

This book in particular I bought to try and feed my picky, meat and potatoes husband. I love it! Like all his other books (I have 10), his recipes are easy and tasty, and most recipes make fabulous leftovers.

Try to snap up some of the Mr. Food cookbooks before they are no longer available.

My favorite cookbook - the one I reach for first! Great recipes, not much to clean up. I never see a cookbook where I want to make all the recipes, but this one, I want to make about 90% at least!
