Este libro es muy bueno para quienes se inician con los trucos y efectos web de photoshop. Lo unico que me choco es el uso de ciertas fotos sensasionalistas que no habia visto en otros libros relacionados.

Este libro nos muestra algunos proyectos que supuestamente pueden ayudarnos en nuestra tarea con Photoshop. Debo decir que el libro esta orientado a principiantes y en ese punto cumple con su objetivo. No pidamos mas. Va de menor y a mayor ; y sus guias son exactas, pero no reveladoras. Solo para principiantes.

Éste libro es excelente para principiantes, ya que cuenta con una gran variedad de ejemplos sencillos y explicaciones paso a paso. Si ya se tiene un conocimiento básico del programa será un poco tedioso de leer, sobre todo los primeros capítulos.

Save Your Money. Spend your money on more usefull things like paying all those parking tickes your have received thus far. This student solutions manual has the soulutions to some and I repeat some of the many problems in the text. Having mear soulutions to problems is not enough depth to place in a manual of solutions. Most solutions manuals work out the problem to show where the answer came from, not this one.

When studying about linear models, this book is a very good resource. The very title gives one a sense of this book's target audience: _Applied_ Linear Statistical Models. Throughout its 1400 some odd pages examples and applications are sprinkled, neatly illustrating concepts relevant to the section. One problem: the end-of-chapter exercises. All of the data for use in these exercises are contained on a diskette. Fine. What happens if one were to lose this disk? Better make friends quick in order to have someone from whom to copy the data. Hypothetically, you've gone the entire semester without losing the disk. Datasets are reused throughout the book, yet explanations are only given the first time the data are used. When reusing the data one has to turn to the section where it was first used and decipher the book's difficult labelling system. The exercises do just that, and well, yet they take much more time than if their organisation were better.

I used this book for 2 semesters of introductory biology in college. After the first month, I became frustrated with the poor explanations. I asked a few friends and they recommended Biology by Campbell. What a lifesaver!

I also continued to used this book and also found a number of errors in the pictures. This cost me a few points on tests and quizzes, so this added to my low opinion of this book. I also became hesitant to trust what it was telling me, particularly when there were differences between Campbell and this book.

It has a nice layout, and it breaks topics into meaningful chunks; the explanations were okay most times and simply inadequate too frequently for me. On a scale of 1 to 10, this book is about a 3 or 4 and Campbell is a 9. But reading Campbell also takes more time and effort.

This is an OK book, but unfortunately Bentley's predatory practice of reorganizing the same information or renumbering the chapters every year or so keeps students buying the expensive paperback, selling it back for far less to bookstores which then cannot sell it. The contents of the book are indistinguishable from other editions; you don't need the newest one.

If you need this book for a class, buy a used one and refuse to support Bentley's intellectual laziness.

We order a used version of this book and are amazed by how good of condition it came in and all! It was great and a personal note was included in the box which made it all the better!

conocer un poco mas acerca de los tips de win98

Michael Dobbs does not paint a pretty picture of British politics in this thrilling if somewhat predictable politcal thriller. Intrigue, deception, lies and skullduggery are what Tom Goodfellowe, our honorable hero (and seemingly the only politician with a scrap of integrity), must deal with in his fight to expose the truth behind the passage through the House of Commons of an apparently innocuous bill.
Throw in a rebellious daughter, an unscrupulous newspaper owner, a beautiful Russian hostess (Molly o' Malley from Co. Carlow, Ireland, no less), a backstabbing political ally, and many more well contrived characters, and you get quite a page turner. I was hoping for more insight into life at Westminster and as for the happy ending - it could not have been better scripted by Frank Capra.
Mention of Capra reminds me of the similarities in this book to the Hollywood classic "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" where again we have our hero fighting the establishment. It's the first book i've read by Dobbs and i'd best recommend it as an alternative to John Grisham for those long journeys.

Me lleve una gran decepcion al comprar este libro, es extremadamente confuso y deja demasiadas cosas en el aire, definitivamente no es un manual de programacion, es una simple reseña de como se ve el software en tu pantalla. Tiene un gran problema de continuidad y de logica, definitivamente nada recomendable. Si buscas una buena referencia en español usa los libros de Alfa Omega.

This book did not teaches you anything about the language, is just a guite to move you into the different screens of VFP software. These book is too expensive (I buy one) compared with its content. Anybody can make printscreen of VFP an then publish a book saying it is a MANUAL.
At the end, I payed for nothing.

Maybe it's the teacher, perhaps it's the book. But this is one of the most difficult classes I've had in my life. All I feel like doing is pulling out my hair. This book is so unclear. If you're trying to learn math, this isn't the book for you. If you want to be confused, I highly recommend it.

This book is not clearly written. Many terms are used incorrectly or in a very questionable manner. The answers in the back of the book for all odd-numbered "homework" problems and all test questions is very helpful and convenient. If I were chosing a textbook, it would not be this.

I had Bennett as an instructor and used this book throughout the course sequence. I found it to be a helpful resource for teachers who were unfamiliar or "rusty" with mathematics. However, if you are a math-minded person looking for more ideas, this book will not help you develop your potential. It is a good place to start thinking about ways to teach and learn mathematics, but not a great collection of information on the whole.

I find this book incredibly irritating, in that I can read a sentence; it makes perfect sense, and then I realize -- HOW do people know that? Why should I believe it? There are no sources cited, no primary sources quoted. The book tells me that "...the Pilgrims were less committed to grand designs, less concerned about how they were viewed by others, than the Puritans who settled the larger and more ambitious English colonies to their north." How do people know this? Are there written records? If so, why aren't they quoted? Or why, at least, are they not cited so I can go look them up? I might even be happy to have a secondary source cited. But as it is, I have no reason to believe any of what it says... If I wrote a history paper like this, my teachers would give me a zero, and I would deserve it.
