Like most biology books full of big words and irrelevent terms this 4th edition biology book by Mader was quite easy for me to understand the scientific terms considering this was my first science course. This easy to read book is a must for those who struggle with the harsh technical terms in science

Mader's "Biology" makes every thing simple with its easy-to-understand language and figures. Great EM shots, summarized tables, and applied examples are a few of the several features of the book. Also, summaries at the end of each section and chapter make it easy to reveiw what you have read in a short time. In addition, I have to note that the book is very simple. i.e. College students may need more detailes, although this book is very useful to them!

Brilliant photography, logical arrangement of topics, outstanding illustrations, and well-written text combine to make this text an outstanding tool in the classroom, or as a resource. Features include: main ideas emphasized in boxes within text; challenging content written for easy comprehension; chapters introduced with clear objectives and concluded with detailed summary; information presented in logical flow; chapter assessment by essay, multiple-choice, and critical-thinking questions; detailed index and glossary.

Martin Bell lost in his attempt to win the seat of Brentwood and Ongar in the 2001 general election, however this memoir looks at his time as MP (Independent) for Tatton from 1997 until 2000 when he wrote this book. Quite candid and interesting, it looks at the work of a man who was the first MP to be non party affiliated since 1950, (minus succesive Speakers) and it examines the strains and joys of the job.

This was the text used for my introductory poly-sci class. This book is one of the better texts I've been required to read. It's very concise and easy to understand, but doesn't talk down to the student. A wonderful reference and overview.

Esta muy bien explicado, la informacion que contiene es muy util, pero se basa en una version anterior de visual basic, aunque es de mucha utilidad para los principiantes

Este libro es una buena referencia para iniciar , la explicacion es desde la instalacion, es recomendable para alguie que inicia con el uso de linux

Este libro me a parecido muy completo ya que trae información de todo el juego ya sea los trabajos con su horario, sueldo y habilidades nescesarias, hasta los objetos con sus nombres, devaluación por día y precio inicial, trae los pisos, las pintura para las paredes y más. El libro en si es un guia exelente ya que no le hace falta ni un aspecto con respecto al juego, lo único que se le podria mejorar es en la parte de estrategia, parte la cual la escritora tiene que dar por ella misma y no por el juego, ya que solo nos da tres aspectos que nos podrian ayudar durante el juego, basandose en conseguir dinero fácil. Yo por mi parte tengo algunas dudas, ¿Existe alguna forma para ganar los puntos de habilidades más fácil y rápido?, ¿Por qué a mi no me sirven los trucos solo algunos?. Esas son las únicas preguntas que me han quedado después de leer el libro pero aparte de eso no tengo preguntas, es realmente un libro de el juego Los Sims muy completo.

This compact (252 page) book provides a practical approach to structured forecasting and valuation which is based on the Eval 2003 software provided on CD-ROM. This software, though containing a few bugs, provides a systematic methodology for predicting income statements and balance sheets, based on data provided on more than 3000 companies in a consistent format.

Given that this book assumes quite a bit of knowledge about financial statement analysis, I do not consider it a substitute for a basic textbook. However, after having built dozens of valuation spreadsheets over the years, I appreciate the work that went into developing Eval. The book documents the approach well, and when in doubt the Eval spreadsheet can be consulted.

The authors of this text are experts in their field, and in particular have made lasting contributions to Accounting Analysis ("accruals") that are described in this book.

One caveat -- during the process of working with Eval I found a number of bugs in the software (a field was not imported correctly, a minus sign appeared to have left out of another field, etc.) that should have been caught prior to publication. Readers should pay particular attention to the "plug" assumptions, since these may be require adjustments in many cases.

However, if Eval is treated as a point of departure for a financial analysis, rather than a final result, readers will gain considerable value from this book and will be able to stay clear of potential pitfalls.

I'm not a student of this subject, but I have taken college courses in chemistry and one in biology. I think this book is an excellent introduction to the human body and it's functions, which is an incredibly fascinating subject. The authors provide an appropriate level of detail for an general, introductory texts. The narrative is supported by wonderful 3-D visuals as well as tables summarzing essential information.
