NATION OF NATIONS VOLUME TWO: SINCE 1865 WAS A FABULOUS TEXT BOOK. THIS BOOK HELPED ME TO BETTER UNDERSTAND ALL ASPECTS OF THE INFORMATION WITHIN. AS A FRESHMAN THIS YEAR I HAD A HARD TIME ADJUSTING TO MY CLASSES BUT WITH THIS TEXT I HAD NO PROBLEMS UNDERSTANDING MY READING ASSIGNMENTS AND ENDED UP DOING VERY WELL IN THE CLASS. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVE A HARD TIME PICKING OUT THE IMPORTANT PARTS OF A PARAGRAPH BECAUSE IT HAS GOOD OUTLINES. IT WAS A FANTASTIC TEXT BOOK!

I loved it, i think it is the best book available until now, it has fabulous graphics, examples, the quality is the best i have ever seen in a book !!

This book is really excellent, it have a lot the exercices and tips about Photoshop 6.0, the chapter about the photoshop plugins is wonderfuld and the color and color corrections references great too.

This is a pretty short novel featuring Matthew Hope as a lawyer who often ends up playing detective (also an older book... 1985). In this story, there are two plot lines going on. In the first, Hope is retained by a young lady who's been involuntarily committed to a mental institution. She seems very sane, and blames the situation on her mother who is trying to control a chunk of money she's inherited. In the other plot line (that seems totally unrelated), a pair of detectives find the body of a young lady in a swamp. She was shot in the throat and her tongue was cut out, and she's been there for six to nine months. As the two plots unfold, they start moving towards each other with a twist at the end... Good read.

Probably the best of the Matthew Hope novels. Excellent plotting and characterizations. The cops, Bloom and Rawles, are wonderful, full dimensional characters. I love Matthew Hope's naivete, he's an unreliable narrator who has a "hope"ful view of humanity, unlike McBain himself, or whatever his name is. This one's great!

Este libro es excelente para tener al lado de la computadora mientras se trabaja en una base de datos. Principalmente tuve la necesidad de hacer una tabla con varias consultas y el libro me guio entre las varias herramientas que se pueden aplicar, para facilitar una busqueda. Pude guiarme en Access sin necesidad de recurrir a la ayuda del programa.

It may seem dorky to read a textbook cover to cover but that's what history students at my old high school do every year with Alan Brinkley's, "American History: A Survey." It is engaging, scholarly, fascinating, and thorough. For an extensive study and understanding of American History, Brinkley's work is a must. It is fairly unbiased and is noted as one of the "most-readable" history texts. I can't agree more. It took me a course and a year of study but thanks to Alan Brinkley and an amazing teacher, I have extensive knowledge of American History and it's impact on the modern world.

Buscando entre las recomendaciones de Amazon para libros de creacion de paginas web de empresas, nunca encontre nada en nuestro idioma espanol, hasta ahora. Afortunadamente, este libro me fue muy util en la construccion y mantenimiento del sitio de mi empresa. A pesar de haber navegado en la red durante un buen tiempo y tener algo de experiencia en la creacion de paginas basicas, con este libro pude hacer lo que no se me habia ocurrido antes. Realmente muy bueno, gracias.

Me parecio un excelente libro para todos los usuarios de Internet y Webmasters que deseen promocionar su Sitio de manera Económica y Fácil.

Para alguien que navego en Internet durante ya mas de 3 años, la actualizacion de informacion sobre el browser que utilizo es muy importante. Siempre compre guias para ayudarme, ambos sobre el Internet Explorer y el Netscape Navigator. Pero esta Guia para la version 5 del Explorer me ayudo mas que todas las otras. No solo por el contenido del libro. El software incluido en el CD me permitio construir mi primera pagina web! Ademas, logre usar el Netmeeting, encontrandole verdadero uso a mi Webcam, y poder conocer gente de manera mas personal en la red. Lo recomiendo.

ME GUSTA ESTE LIBRO POR LO PRACTICO DE ESTUDIO CON LOS CD.

Este libro me ayudo mucho como referencia sobre Excel. Siempre que tenia algun problema era mejor buscarlo en el libro que ir a la ayuda del programa! Muy practico en todo, y tambien me enseño mucho sobre macros en Excel.
