This has to be the #1 product on CD-ROM for reviewing radiology! I used it to prepare for boards and even used it to review cases while on the airplane to Louisville. iRAD contains tons of cases with high quality images, a description of the findings, a pertinent differential, the diagnosis, and a full discussion. It is conveniently organized into ten sections (chest, nucs, GI, etc.) and even has a final posttest (you don't have to submit your answers unless you need the CME's). Multiple choice questions with each case are a great way to simulate an oral examination, either alone or in groups.

Clown fish have instinctively understood the effectiveness of vaccination for thousands of years before humans discovered it. This is an upbeat and fun book to read that draws analogies from animal behavior and transposes them to human society. The book will help people learn lessons that they might not learn from a didactic or abstractive book. It illustrates with stories about animal behavior how everyone can learn and improve, not only their businesses, but also their lives. There is no other book on the market, which shows so well how humans could learn from animal instinct. Perhaps this book will show that the animal instincts we used to survive in the age of dinosaurs are just as valuable today in our 21st century high tech jungle - albeit a slightly different jungle. Corporations and individuals still face the same primeval battles of supremacy - of predator and prey - in the workplace today. This book will be indispensable to their survival and prosperity.

It's NOT All In Your Head is most definetely one of the most helpful books I've ever read. So often, women's symptoms get played down. They will go to the doctor and their illnesses will be misdiagnosed, passed off as something that's all "in their head", or just plain ignored. It seems this book was written to combat that very thing. The authors of this book really get to the heart of diseases that are often misdiagnosed, aiding women in discovering the identity of what ails them. I strongly recommend this book to any woman, it truly can save a life.

I've given it several times as a gift as I feel it is the best book I've ever read about Jesus. Be adventurous and take the steps to become deeply aware as the Master directed.

This book is a very good book for a beginning medical student. I bought it as a reference book for my medical transcription work because of the color plates (I hope Amazon prints a sample of one of the colored pages so buyers can appreciate how good the book is; they did print a list of the color plates). The illustrations are very good and very detailed, showing exactly where everything is inside the human body. What's more, the illustrations are meticulously and completely labelled in detail! This is what made me buy the book. It helps me visualize where the anatomical part is positioned while transcribing, which gives me a good idea of what to expect when a physician dictates a particular procedure on that part. There are write-ups by doctors prior to each illustration, so you can refer back to it every so often to understand how things work and tie up together. A sample of pictures are: the complete illustration of the anatomical man, fetal circulation (with amazing close-up details of the placenta), the skeletal system, muscular system (with muscles, ligaments, fasciae, tendons, bursae), shoulder and hip joints, inguinal regions, hernias, development of blood cells, lymphatics, a really big picture of the anatomical ear, mechanics of vision, and a composite anatomy of the vascular system based upon arteriograms and venograms.

This is by no means a definitive anatomy book (it is only 166 pages). For advanced med students this is not recommended. But for those without a medical background but who work in the associated fields of the medical profession (nurses and transcriptionists among others), this is a good summary-of-the-anatomy book.

"Journey Through Time: A Pictoral History of the Prince George's County Police Department" provides readers with numerous black-and-white photographs of the P.G. County police, a person will probably not find a greater source inasmuch as pictures are concerned. This book does an extremely thorough job of explaining the rich history of the police department, it tells through words and pictures the changes that have taken place as Prince George's County grew from a sleepy rural community to a heavily populated metropolitan suburb. In addition, every fallen officer received a one page synopsis explaining their careers and situations surrounding their deaths. This book is a must for people interested in the history of Prince George's County, it should be required reading for all recruits.

It liberated me to feel more spontaneously without self-judgment and self-criticism, and to express my feelings without fear of judgment by others. If you're having trouble feeling or being fully conscious of yourself and your feelings, read Lowen's books and give some thought to Bioenergetic psychotherapy -- both will help tremendously.

I suggest using this book more for information about knee pain. It is laid out well, written in layman's terms, and is pretty thorough. It does, however, cover very little about exercise and the few pages it does devote to exercise contains no pictures. Suggest also checking into "Treat Your Own Knees" if you want simple exercises you can do at home to treat your knee pain.

An interesting diet that seeks to control the amount of carbohydrates you eat. Studies show that you will lose weight on the Atkins Diet but in the long run you lose just as much as being on a regular low calorie diet. Readers with knee pain might also like "Treat Your Own Knees."
