I found Ray's antedotal appraoch to behavioral problems very refreshing. By showing exactly what the owners were doing wrong, I was able to see if my problems were similiar enough to warrent the same correction. Ray really respects the fact that not all dogs are the same and as a result, he presents several remedies for the reader to try. In general, Ray showed me that we are always teaching our dogs, whether we want to or not. As a result, I am much more aware of timing, proper corrections and how I interact with my puppy. A must read for all of us lucky enough to have a dog in our lives.

This is an amazing book that I came across years ago and didn't buy it. If anyone sees this, PLEASE let me know!!

Stephen Hastings, war hero, secret agent, Member of Parliament, painter, sculptor, public speaker, Master of Foxhounds, raconteur, etc., etc. would be a fit subject for either a novelist like Ian Fleming, or a great biographer. His autobiography is both engaging and informative, and gives the reader a picture of a reanaissance man of his times. As the late Ouida Huxley (Aldou's sister-in-law) once said, "They don't make men today like they did in the '30s." Buy this book. It's a great read.

El libro te permitirá conocer a personajes muy importantes en la historia Romana que no tienen la fama de Julio César o Marco Antonio, sin embargo influyeron totalmente en el sistema político romano y en su futuro.

Recomiendo totalmente este libro ya que para poder entender mejor toda la serie escrita por la autora este libro es indispensable. Es un libro para todos aquellos que gustan de las novelas históricas y para aquellos que gustan de un buen libro.

Emma the bear and her parents are going on vacation. But mom and dad want to be tourists. Emma asks to hike a mountain near their rickety cabin, but dad drives. After a day at the speedy burger, a boat ride, tour bus, train ride and carnival rides, Emma refuses to leave the cabin again. She shows her parents how to take pleasure from a mountain stream, berry picking, tree climbing and story telling. The book's humerous tone with engaging artwork (the speedy burger restaurant is a giant burger!) entertains, while the storyline gentley reminds us a better way to spend our time.

This is one of the best guidebooks for a city's architecture I've seen. The entries cover not only St. Louis proper but also the entire metro area, reaching far into the suburbs in both Missouri and Illinios. Every entry has at least one photograph, a rarity for such books. The maps are clear and concise; a regional map shows where each local map is located. Also includes a number of color photographs in the introduction pages. About the only thing I would fault the book for is skipping a few of downtown's historic towers; however, the book does an excellent job of directing city explorers to St. Louis's most interesting areas.

"Instruments of Statecraft" is a powerful and significant book that unveils how US counterinsurgency doctrine was consciously modelled on the practices and achievements of World War II fascism. In his review of US Army manuals of the 1950s, author Michael McClintock notes that there is a frightening similarity between the Nazi's perception of world politics and America's behavior in the Cold War.

McClintock reveals how the US has undertaken the worldwide task of removing anti-fascist resistance and other criminals (labelled "Communists" or "terrorists") from the theatre of national and international politics.

McClintock points out that in the struggle against "Partisan Communism" the killing of anyone furnishing aid or comfort, directly or indirectly, to such partisans, or any person withholding information on partisans, was well within the provisions of acceptable superpower behavior.

McClintock shows how the policies advocated by Kennedy's dovish advisors, and standard US practice in Central America were founded on the fundamental state terrorist policy of the utility of "evacuation of all natives from partisan-infested areas and the destruction of all farms, villages, and buildings in the areas following the evacuations" - standard US procedure in South Vietnam, for example.Engaging, illuminating and riveting,"Instruments of Statecraft" is a must-read for blind-faith patriots everywhere.

I want to recommend this book. It is a very suspenseful novel that takes place in Britain, the United States, and Ireland. The story has a very original plot and gives a lot of history behind the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

This book is one of my favorites, and I have them all but one.
As always Rod speaks directly to you and never misses the mark. Page 22 is my favorite. I always feel Rod knew me in another life and you will feel it too. This is a must for every collector.
