I love Tanith Lee
Once again, great writing. Kept me entertained and guessing what was gonna happen next!!

Fourth/Final Book in The Secret Books of Paradys Series
Tanith Lee is a tremendously talented writer, and in "The Book of the Mad" she wows her fans once again. This is the fourth and final book in The Secret Books of Paradys series (preceded by "The Book of the Damned" [#1], "The Book of the Beast" [#2], and "The Book of the Dead" [#3]), and it is, without a doubt, my favorite book in the group. It alternates between three various-spelled parallel cities:

--Paradise, where Felion and Smara (homicidal twin outcasts), travel through their uncle's space-altering ice labyrinth, in order to kill an unknown cousin for their own personal gain.

--Paradis, where Leocadia, a 30-year-old alcoholic, bisexual painter, is blamed for her lover's murder and is sent to an asylum by her conniving relatives. Leocadia is devilishly witty, though Felion and Smara still win out for me.

--Paradys, where Hilde, a 15-year-old virgin, is raped by Johanos Martin, an actor she adores. She becomes hysterical afterwards and is sent to an asylum by her parents, who can't cope. This is the least memorable of the three stories, at least it was for me, but it's still interesting enough.

These three well-crafted stories tie-in to one another as the book progresses, culminating in a terrific ending. Fans of this series will enjoy rereading this book over again, if not to just pick up pieces of the puzzle, which are skillfully strewn around. It's mesmerizing, and dark fantasy at its best. Highly recommended.

Brilliant!
As aptly demonstrated by Tanith Lee, Paradys is a city of many faces. This is evident nowhere more than in "The Book of the Mad," a story that twists both time and space into a compelling, dazzling narrative. In Paradys' eighteenth-century past, the young girl Hilde becomes infatuated with a handsome, egocentric actor who rapes her. In the present-day city of Paradis, the hard-drinking, eccentric artist Leocadia discovers a murder in her studio. And in the future, polluted, ironically named Paradise, the twins Felion and Smara explore a labyrinth of ice left to them by a mysterious uncle and fulfill their daily quota of murders. Three sets of lives converge in madness--shaken by her experience, Hilde is relegated to a cruel insane asylum; Leocadia is pronouced the murderess, acquitted on charges of insanity, and sent to a hospital; Felion and Smara continue their jaunts and murders and consider themselves the only sane inhabitants of mad Paradise--and tangle together into a fascinating story. Certain symbols consistently emerge from the flow: the color orange is a definitive motif, as is the figure of the penguin. "The Book of the Mad" requires more than one reading to fully grasp how all three stories tie into each other, as the story is rich and complex, but it is well worth all the reading. Lee's prose brings all three versions of Paradys to vivid life, dark, dazzling, and ultimately fulfilling. All is apportioned as it should be: what each character requires, by their actions, is yielded to them in the end. And the Penguin presides over all. Do not miss this last chapter of the Paradys Tetralogy. Even madness has a purpose--and when the purpose is to delight, Lee fulfills her promise.

Save our freedoms, Mad Dogs need muzzles.
Mr. Zinn's true story is one most will have a difficult time believing. This is due first to the press coverage at the time of his experience and second because it runs contrary to our educated belief in the American way. Mr. Zinn is an excellent writer and he quickly draws the reader into the twisted horror of his not so unfamiliar yet bizarre tale. Much like an action thriller, this story moves very fast. It is however, a real life drama that plays out in unforgiving, believable and frightening text. I am amazed that Mr. Zinn has survived this aggressive business and personal attack and manages to write with such calm passion. I can only hope for a very wide audience so the messages he sends out in his last chapter are heard by a significant segment of our population. Read this book. Wake up to its truth. Participate in the electoral process. This book drives you to act, not complain; to go beyond newspapers and TV; to participate in the details of your life. A must read for all who wish to save the American systems we were taught were ours as citizens of the U.S.

WAKE UP AMERICA
This book is very well written and very truthful and does not exaggerate the injustices in our Federal Justice System? How do I know? Our family has lived through the same situation. If it makes Mr. Zinn feel better, my husband did not agree to a plea bargain because he did not want to tell a lie by admitting to a crime he did not commit. He wound up with a 33 month sentence. Mr. Zinn's book not only told the legal story, but, showed the devastating emotional side as well. The description of the effect on his daughter made me cry as we have a daughter about the same age who sat in the court room day after day and, along with her two brothers was heartbroken to see this happen to her Daddy. I hope this book helps to open the flood gates of those of us who have been attacked by these MAD DOGS!

Having Your Day in Court
Most people know about the criminal justice system primarily through television shows and newspapers. Those depictions fail to capture the real risk that any citizen is exposed to if government bureaucrats and prosecutors are inundated with accusations against you. Naturally, those who receive the letters assume that where there's smoke, there's fire. Unless you are very lucky, you will end up doing jail time.

I appreciate Mr. Zinn's taking the time to expose what happened to him, so that everyone else can understand the risk that the current system brings to us all. I think you will find his tale to be one that everyone should know.

Although he thought he was relying on legal advice about how to raise money for a political candidate, he was actually being led down the garden path. As CEO of a company under attack from hostile shareholders, the opposing shareholders used the resulting mistakes to get federal prosecutors and the IRS after him. In the process, a company which violated the law more than his company did was given immunity to get testimony against Mr. Zinn. Although this doesn't seem fair, it certainly is the way the system works. Prosecutors also relied on the accusations of people who were trying to negotiate favorable settlements from the company on other matters.

Faced with many unpalatable choices and on the advice of legal counsel, Mr. Zinn chose not to explain himself to the prosecutors. They threw the book at him. Even after he plea bargained to a reduced sentence to get "easy" time in a low security facility, they harrassed him with grand jury dates which meant he had to spend most of this time in maximum security lock-ups and in very uncomfortable transporation.

After he got out of jail, he still had the scheming shareholders to deal with. It turned out that they had found every possible ally who would work with them, and had been stealing information from the company to make running the company harder.

All the shareholders were actually hurt by this because the legal and accounting costs of these investigations ran into the millions of dollars over the years. Also, management attention was diverted from making money.

Despite this, Mr. Zinn did succeed in helping the shareholders make a bundle. Some people made more than 30 times their investment, as a result.

Consider that Mr. Zinn is obviously a very talented, intelligent, and aggressive person. He also had a lot of personal and corporate money to help defend him. If he couldn't figure out what to do and avoid a lot of unpleasantness, what are your chances? Not very good, I'm afraid.

The strength of this book is that Mr. Zinn takes you inside his experiences that led up to and through the problems so you can consider what you would have done. He also shares the emotional turmoil and pain associated with the problems, for him, his family, and for those he worked with.

If you know of anyone who is being investigated, I suggest that you give them a copy of this book. I would also encourage anyone in that situation to find a way to explain themselves to those who are conducting the investigation. Before everyone has drawn a lot of conclusions, there may be some lattitude to avoid worse problems.

There are many other new laws on the books (not discussed in this book) that make the rights of ordinary citizens quite small. I encourage you to become familiar with these risks so that you can conduct your life in ways that will reduce those risks, while finding appropriate ways to get the laws changed.

From A young "Flyy Girl's" perspective.
As a young black aspiring author,I think Omar Tyree has hit asoft spot in the hearts of any teenager who has read this book. At theage of 16, I can personally relate to the feeling of competing with the fad's that society has set for us teenager's,the illusion's that mislead into a path that we may feel is "COOL!". The truth is there is a little bit of Tracy Ellison in all of us young teenager's. We have this yearn for exploring what we haven't learned in the household. But it is only at our disgrestion that we change our path to better ourselves. Which means realizing that fashion, popularity, crime and sex is a trap set to send all the young fertile black minds astray from the potential they possess to be our nations most intellectual leaders.Tracy's transition in character proved that the fast lanes kept her from attaining all the information that she really needed to flourish in this nation we have made. I came close to tears as I sat up late last night finishing Omar Tyree's masterpiece. This booked touched me so much I woke up this morning with the aspiration's to get every young teenager in America to read this book and boy's are not excluded they may need this more than us girls do.

I recommend Flyy Girl for all Black youth. Boys and Girls
I enjoyed Flyy girl from beginnig to end. The style of Mr. Tyree's dialouge is sooo tight. Although it was set in the 80's, but females of the 90's can still connect, that just goes to show you things havent changed that much. Everyone liked Victor, except me. It was sweet the way it turned out but I would've have stopped trying. All my friends have read it, and we bond and quote and ask trivia questions about the book. I read it at least 3 times. It made me want to read more and I have read at least 4 more books after that. Get you Butt up and read it. IT IS BOMB , I wouldnt lie to ya.

Still excellent
I read this book when i was in the 6th grade and i fell in love with itI am now in college and my opinion hasent changed. This is a great book for any collector!!! GirlS its a MUST have The SEX and the violence. the book is incredible!

Crackpots or Master of Intrigue?
Can you imagine a "rag-tag band of crackpots" whose movements and activities remind one of laughable and outrageous scenes from a Marx Brothers film or from the Keystone Kops but whose activities are capable of wreaking havoc and destroying forever America's sense of invulnerability? There was such a group and this is exactly what happened on September 11, 2001. A relatively small group of single-minded, devout, dedicated fundamentalist Muslims, consumed by their terrorist efforts and goals proved that if anyone wanted to "get Americans" they would find a way. They would accomplish what 50 years of the "Cold War" failed to do. And all of America's missiles and sophisticated weaponry would be as useless as a rubber crutch.

These men, while they may seem to be "crazy" are far from it. Many are well-educated, wealthy, devout as well as crafty and cunning and are to be taken seriously. They must be respected because of their dedication and absorption in their beliefs which makes them fearsome and dangerous. Without their religious zeal which buoys their spirits and morale, their efforts would be less than successful maybe even tragic and laughable.

Ms Devji's book, "The Mad Messiah" introduces us to some of the men and leaders of this group, Al Qaeda. She spells out their devotion to their goals and their world as well as their own view of reality. She has given the reader a rudimentary and much needed explanation of some of these menh, their religion, their family backgrounds in an easy to read manner. In addition the book is an excellent example of a well-written and well-researched work. The author is to be praised and complimented for providing this services to the reader.

Anyone who wirtnessed the destruction of the World Trade Center-and who has not? - can easily identify with Ms. Devji's stunned disbelief as she describes this event. She has captured the core and essence of our reactions on that day of infamy. Her words echo the feelings of sadness we all experienced. This book is an excellent primer for anyone who wants to know who the men of Al Qaeda are and their dedication their their own peculiar and virulent strain of Islam.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT OSAMA BIN LADEN
MY WIFE READ THIS BOOK BEFORE I COULD GET TO IT. SHE SAID IT WAS EXCELLENT AND THAT I SHOULD READ IT. SHE WAS RIGHT. IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE BACKGROUND OF SEPTEMBER 11 AND OSAMA BIN LADEN, THIS BOOK IS YOUR ANSWER. IT IS WRITTEN IN VERY READABLE LANGUAGE AND WELL DOCUMENTED. IT ISN'T UNTIL THE END OF THE BOOK THAT YOU REALIZE WHY IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN WITH SUCH PASSION AND CLARITY. THE AUTHOR HERSELF AS A YOUNG GIRL EXPERIENCED THE TERROR OF RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION WHEN HER UNCLE HAD TO KILL HIS DAUGHTERS AND HIMSELF TO AVOID A MOB GONE BESERK. THIS WAS IN PAKISTAN. HOW ONE LIVES WITH THAT MEMORY IS HARD TO CONCEIVE. DESPITE THIS BURDEN THE AUTHOR HAS WRITTEN A BALANCED ACCOUNT TO INFORM AND NOT TO INFLUENCE. HOPEFULLY THE WRITING OF THIS BOOK AND IT'S SOUNDING NOTE WILL HELP HERSELF AND OTHERS. I INTEND TO PASS THIS BOOK ON TO MY DAUGHTERS.

Too cerebral and passionless...
Gollaher paints a very dull picture of Dorothea Dix. There is not one colorful insight into this fascinating, world-changing woman. If there was even a hint of love or respect, or even curiosity about his subject, the author never reaveals it. There is an inexcusable failure on the author's part to make this famous lady 'touchable'. He discredits her faith with one stroke of his pen and rambles about the more cerebral parts of her life and work. Yes, she was interested in other things besides helping people but I don't care to know about how many bugs she collected and how many famous persons she socialized with. I want to know about Dorothea Dix! This was one of the most discursive, spiritless biographies I have read in many years. Read another biographer's account of this amazing woman, perhaps one that is written by a woman.

good, but not as good as raping your daughter
i thought the book was less cheese than it was pepperoni. if it just had a little bit more flash and dealt with the killing of thousands of jews, it might have been interesting. but this is just another thing you can read in the bathroom for a book report even though you really just want to jerk off

A Gem of a Biography
I bought this book after reading the following award citation it received from the Organization of American Historians: "VOICE FOR THE MAD provides more than a fine analysis of how and why a key northern antebellum reformer came to her reform, more than a well-written, sophisticated account of how a well-traveled reformer sought progress in Europe and the Americas, more than an illuminating account of how and why Americans created asylums for the insane. Gollaher's study also throws important light on how a woman outside the home could be an important lobbyist inside antebellum male legislatures; on how and why antebellum religion generated a white-hot reformist passion; on how and why reformist passion often stopped short, as in Dix's case, of anti-slavery; and perhaps most astonishingly, on how and why the Yankee woman as a reforming fanatic could succeed in Southern legislatures...[A] gem of a biography." Amazingly, the book is even better than this, because it reveals how a person was able to use her own demons -- her anger, her feelings of abandonment, her incredible nervous energy -- as sources of strength in the public arena of politics.

Madison
The book I am going to talk about is called Harry's Mad. It is an adventurous book. There are two main characters. The first character is Harry he is a blonde hair boy and he has black eyes. He is ten years old and has no brothers or sisters. He lives with his parents. The second character is an African parrot with gray and black eyes and has a dark gray beak.
They live in a famous city called London. The story takes place in November. Harry got a parrot from his uncle who passed away and whom he never met. Harry went out with his mom and a robber break in. The robber robs Mad and Harry couldn't find Mad. The parrot flew away from the robber. At last Harry and Mad meet again.
I recommend you read this book because it is incredibly, exciting, and interesting.

an AWESOME book
I chose this book because in the past I read another book by the same author. This book takes place in Paris, France. There are four main characters. The characters are Mom, Dad, Madison, the African Gray Parrot. I like Madison the most because he can talk and play more games than the average parrot, and because madison is the center of the whole story. The story begins when Harry inherits an African Gray Parrot, named Madison, from his Great Uncle George. harry spends much time with the parrot, and becomes attached to him. One day, when no one was home, a burglar breaks in and steals Madison. While Madison is at the robber's house alone, he calls the police. The policeman could not believe what madison told him because Madison's stoy was unbelievable. Madison had even told the police man that he was 9 inches tall. Later in the story Madison manages to pry a hole in the chimney and get away. Going up the chimney he got covered in suit and could not fly. Then you should read the book to see what happens next. I thoght this was a great story. i would reccomend this book to you to read

My favorite children's book
I first read this book at age 14 and since then I have read it over and over! The first thing that made me interested in this book was Madison, an african grey parrot. I had a pair of Red Sided Eclectus parrots before and I thought this book would help me remember them in a way. While reading this book, I felt an enormous amount of joy, even my sister who has a "strange" sence of humor laughed once and a while when I told her sections of the book. Not only does this book begin and end with happiness, it also has a surprise twist. I'm not telling :)
Suspence is also brought in that would make younger ones literally asking for more and more as you read this book to them. This book is on my top 10 list along with some of my favorites from other authors, such as Charles Dicken's "Great Expectations". Great book, I give it 7 stars...oh wait I can only go up to 5. Darn!

Mad Cow U.S.A.

Mad Cow U.S.A. is not the book to read before you go out for a steak. In fact, it's not really a book to read before eating anything; this chronicle of government cave-in to pressure from the food industry just might scare away your appetite. Authors Sheldon Rampton and John Stauber argue that both the American and British governments colluded with beef producers to suppress important facts about interspecies transmission of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or "mad cow disease"--facts that might have prevented gruesome deaths. Could a British-style BSE epidemic happen in America? In a 1996 TV talk show, Oprah Winfrey attempted to ask the same question, only to find herself slapped with a lawsuit by a group of Texas cattlemen. Their grounds: the so-called agricultural product disparagement laws currently on the books in 13 states; these laws prohibit people from questioning the safety of any agricultural product, shifting the legal burden of proof from the food industry to its watchdogs. What happens when anyone who speaks out about problems with our food supply can be sued into silence? Rampton and Stauber fear grave consequences for public health, and they make a convincing case against these laws--and, inadvertently, for vegetarianism.

Too Much Trivia
Parden the pun but where's the beef?
If Dr. Gajdusek was accused of child abuse, how does that relate to Mad Cow?
If Kuru affected some brain eaters before Mad Cow entered the world's vocabluary does that require a whole chapter?
If sheep drop dead from a relative of BSE who cares?
The authors buried the dangers of beef so deep in unrelated and unimportant information, an earth mover couldn't get to the point.
Most meat eaters will write this book off as pure science totally unrelated to everyday life.
Ironicly, those same meat eaters have the most to loose from a carnivore diet. While BSE is rare, there are a million other reasons to avoid meat not the least of which is the filthy slaughter houses.

Well documented, clear discription of a deadly reality.
When a topic as potentially sensationalistic as "Deadly Disease Being Spread to US Population with Covert US Government Cooperation" needs to be dealt with seriously, it takes responsible journalists to keep hysteria from distorting the facts. Rampton and Stauber have succeeded where others would have failed. The topic of the book is how the meat industry, their public relations firms and the governments of the USA and Britian worked together to attempt to conceal important information about a newly discovered disease that was abroad in the human food system. The truly frightening truth is that Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE, or Mad Cow Disease) is a real thing. It is one disease in a class known as Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy that have, until recently, been little researched and little understood. This book does not describe an episode of "The X-Files." People have died from it and are continuing to die from it. The authors documented the entire process of a growing crisis that has potentially world-shattering implications to millions of Americans. Pulling together original source material from obscure (and perhaps at time even hostile) sources they describe how the events unfolded and reason the events unfolded as they did. An important note is that this book is not, and does not pretend to be, a scientific treatment of BSE, TSE's or any other topic. Its approach is more realistic. The authors lay out the occurances as they transpired, uncovering innumerable bits of information that were never before collected together or presented to the general public. The book details the scientific minutae only to the degree it is relevant and stops short of either lecturing or preaching. Explaining who the players have been, their position the entire affair (including the financial risks and implications to the meat industry, the pharmacutical industry and the cosmetic industry) and where they are at the time of printing is a real life detective story whose final chapter has not been written. The only significant frustration I had with the book was the "99%" nature of some of the time oriented information. The footnotes were excellent in identifying th original sources, yet were not always clear as to if the dates were referenced were to indicate when information was released or when the actual experiment / event / discovery occurred. In fairness, I cannot level this criticism with much force, as my scrutiny of the footnotes comes from my intent to develop a fully documented timeline and collection of original source material. That they failed to do my chosen job while undertaking their own agenda can hardly be a cause for blame. As the facts concerning BSE and TSE's continue to unfold it becomes clear that the cricis is far from over. There are still more revelations to come. As more court cases come up based on the Food Disparagement / Veggie Liable Laws, the war rages on. This book give a powerful reference to help understand new events as they unfold over the next several years. Caution in reading this book may be advised, though. The material can be sufficiently frightening in its implications, you may feel the need to make new choices in lfe.

The book that predicted it - Mad Cow USA
Six years before the appearance of mad cow disease in the US, this book predicted it. Mad Cow USA warned that the meat industry and the government were failing to take the necessary steps to prevent the disease here, and using falsehoods and PR to cover-up their failings. Unfortunately, this book nailed it.

Wilber's vision is unique and important
There are some people that suggest that Wilber has been too repetitive in his last few books. That he's simply been repeating the same basic refrain over and over again. I can understand that criticism, but I disagree with it. Wilber's theory of integration is both complex and important, and I find it incredibly useful to have new books in which he expands the examples of his theory. My own feeling is that the integral theory is a very important theory to understand, so the more in depth Wilber goes, and the various diffirent paths of exploration he goes at his thory from, the happier I am, as I feel like I have a greater grasp of what he's speaking about. As an aside, there is a wondeful novel called We All Fall Down by Brian Caldwell which seems to take quite a bit of Wilber's theory, and even mentions him several times in the book. The novel is a great example of a man caught trying to transform his life into something better, but who is able only to translate. It's about the frustration and difficulties in trying to move up to the next level of consciousness. Techinically, it's set in a Christian framework, but it elevates past that small structure and uses it to really bring home quite a few of Wilber's theories. It's a wonderful novel and I'd highly recomend it to any fan of Wilber.

A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Body, Mind, and Spirit
In his latest effort, Ken Wilber continues his masterful mapping of the dimensions of human consciousness with The Eye of Spirit. Taking a break from his Kosmos Trilogy --the projected three-volume tour of the universe that has already produced the highly controversial Sex, Ecology, and Spirituality-- Wilber addresses the pressing concerns of the modern mind: Who am I? What is my role in this world? What's in store for us humans?

Calling for an "integral" approach to these questions, The Eye of Spirit blends together a series of poignant essays on such varied subjects as art and literary theory, feminism, modern systems theory, and mysticism, demonstrating not only where their strengths and weaknesses lie, but also situating the various disciplines in relation to each other --how they complement or (attempt to) assassinate one another. (Fans of Wilber's other works be warned: some of these essays rely heavily upon previously published works, so you may want to wait for the paperback version)

As usual, Wilber neatly handles a vast range of material --including some virulent criticism (see the recent issues of ReVision magazine for a taste)-- with characteristic aplomb and good sense. If nothing else, The Eye of Spirit is an excellent introduction to the world of transpersonal psychology and to the world at large. Well worth the price.

Great Book
A very very worthwhile book. Wilber at his best.

Clarification
If the ENTIRE book wasn't about Emily's "sexuality" I wouldn't have been disappointed by the ending. Being a lesbian, I understand the fact that there are other aspects to a lesbian life. However, if those aspects were going to be introduced, I felt they should have been in the book all along and not just at the end.

The most realistic account of same-sex first love I've read.
This is the best description I've found of the realities of teen same-sex first love, and my recommendations don't come lightly (I've read 100+ books/year for the last 12 years). The story is complete with family overreaction, trying to "cure" oneself by sex with men, covering up by making fun of "dykes", psychiatric old-wives' tales re. lesbianism, wondering if one is gay/sick/queer, girlfriends' denials and homophobia, finally trying to "cure" oneself by sex with women, and all the rest of the tangled mess of finding and defining oneself according to one's understanding of society's rules.

In many ways, I could identify with the heroine. She writes and quotes poetry; to impress girls she "acts intense"; when she's in love with her best friend she feels "finger-tip alive".

Somewhere during the final chapter, I experienced something entirely new to me: sobbing over a book.

_A_Stone_Gone_Mad_ contains some remarkable, beautiful writing, and the infrequent love scenes are so true-to-life that you just might get all flushed...and wish that the love of your life would hurry home.

Wonderful...
Well this has to be one of my favorite books ever. Some may say it was dissapointing at the end but I don't think those are the right words. Yes it would have been nice to know what became of Emily and her lover but the book did end nicely. Emily's best friend was an important part of the book and in my opinion the ending was appropriate.

This book was quite realistic compared to some books I've read about youth coming to terms with their homosexuality. It wasn't sugarcoated. Emily took a lot of heat for being a lesbian, and was very confused throughout the book. Her family did not accept her and every thing WASN'T okay. Emily went through A LOT. I shared her emotions while reading, Emily goes through so many ups & downs in this book and it all seems so real. I wish Emily was a real person so I could meet her.

The only thing that kinda threw me off was how fast the time set passed in this book. Years were skipped a lot & the second half of Emily's life seemed to speed right on by. But overall I have to give it the 5 stars it deserves.

Different Twist To An Old Story
Everyone knows what a werewolf is right? A man bitten by a werewolf becomes a wolf during the full moon each month. Classic, dependable, predictable and boring. So that happens to a man, but what if a wolf is bitten by a werewolf? Well he becomes a man three nights a month that's what happens!

A completely different twist to the story with predictably hilarious results. HOWLING MAD delves into uncharted territory here with a short lighthearted tale of the poor wolf laden with the curse of becoming a man each months.

Although not exceptionally well written, it could be tighter and the characters shortcuts in learning language and human customs are a little too contrived, it is funny and fun to read.

A little light reading to wile away an hour or two. Don't expect too much and I think you will enjoy the ride.

It's pretty average but I still RECOMMEND it.

Howling Mad is one of the best SF books I have ever read!
This is a smart and funny tale of a wolf who is bitten by a werewolf and every full moon turns into a man, who is taken under the shelter of Darlene, who names him Josh. The story involves other supernatural creatures and ends with an awesome battle with Josh and another werewolf...I won't tell you too much. I could totally see a hilarious Sci-Fi Fantasy movie made in this. GGT

Great story
Although the ending leaves a few questions unanswered, this book was very memorable. David is very to the point, and very clever in writing his story. David is able to tell an all around amusing story, with memorable characters, and memorable scenes.
