Amazingly Funny BookI bought this book when it came out in 1983. It is one of the funniest books I've ever read. The story about showing his first film and how he got some of Hollywood's biggest big shot to see it is worth the price of the book

A nice book that kept me waiting for more...It was a fun book for a young reader. The story flows well and the emotions felt in the book are real. It's very funny and even made me laugh out loud at times.

Wacky, inane humor that is a laugh a page , sensationalA walk into the insane mind of the world's creative Bizarre-brained cartoonist that thinks " THE MORBID the MERRIER!!" is a tune whistled by his ink-pen that drools out the most expressions on faces in a dot than most can achieve with a nine inch roller. WARNING: this book can be habit-forming and should be taken in small doses!

Super BookThis beginning book of a quartet of novels is stunning.
It recreates the Fiftries teen world and the even older world of railroading which was then being conducted in the same way as when the first set of tracks was laid.
Gandy Dancing is a must read for railroaders, fifties enthusiasts and those who want to start one of the greater sagas about one man defeating mental illness written in the last fifty years.

Go MAD: Make a DifferenceMy daughter LOVED this book. Sometimes I would hear her laughing from the other room as she read it. She would even bring up some of the issues she read about during dinner. She said that even though it was written by adults, it was presented in "her language" (funny, I thought she spoke English like the rest of us). She really liked the chapters by Mark Bernstein and Keith Hawkins in particular. Thanks for a great read. Go MAD is great!

Great bookI have twin girls who are 17 months old. We just bought this book, and they love it! They both want to read it over and over. It makes the concept of emotions understandable for them. It shows pictures of children laughing, crying because they fell down, sad because of a broken toy... Now when they fall down they tell me that they are crying. This is a wonderful book to help your young child begin to understand his or her emotions.
