BEST BABY STORY BOOKI recieved this book recently and if you can find it I have not seen a better book for a baby. My 11 month old can hardly put the book down. The flaps are sturdy and although they are now bent they are not torn. I was impressed by the simplicity of the book and yet it helps babies learn skills. This book makes a perfect baby shower gift.

The Monster is Coming!A delicious little morsel that entertains and explodes the the whole MONSTERS! thing before your kids can get into the habit of being afraid of some generic terror that has no basis in reality. The monster is big, blue and appealingly fluffy. I defy any child to be afraid of this monster. His hapless attempts to capture a chortling little girl are far more likely to amuse than scare. My own sons, in part due to this book, have no fear of imaginary creatures or the dark, worth having for that reason alone. Alas, our own copy has been loved to the point of ruin and must be replaced for the next son and perhaps their prodgeny also.

My daughter's all time favorite book !This small book is just the right size for little hands and holds many delightful surprises. Each two page spread has an item that can be removed from a pocket such as a tiny paper chain, a letter to Santa, a 3-d gingerbread house and a little Christmas card or a lift-the-flap activity to do. The story follows brother and sister Sam and Amy as they prepare for Christmas. My daughter loves this book so much that I had to buy a second one to have on hand just in case she misplaced the first one. The only reason that I didn't give this book a ten was because of the British wording which is sometimes confusing ; Father Christmas instead of Santa and Christmas biscuit house rather than gingerbread house. All in all, a great little book!

A Great Interactive Preschooler BookI first ordered this book, in all honesty, because of the title. You see my new kitten's name is Tuna. He was named by his foster mother at our no-kill animal shelter. I was, however, pleasantly surprised when I received the book and read it. It's great for preschoolers for several reasons. It's short in number of pages as well as number of words on each page, so it has just enough information to keep the young reader's attention. It is interactive because it asks questions (related to our five senses) inviting the toddler to participate. Every other page has five flip up cards with answers to each of the five questions (e.g. What does Tuna hear?). I love this book so much I'm ordering another one for my kitten Tuna's foster mother, as a thank-you for taking such good care of him before I adopted him. And I'm sure my 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter will love it as well as a Christmas gift.

Fun for a two year old!Just one glance at the cover and you know the kind of exuberant and expansive dog Truffle is. Lynn Reiser really does capture the joy of a dog in snow. And her bright illustrations will lend themselves well to a two year old. This lift the flap book will capture the interest of even the most rambunctious child. If you have trouble getting your child to 'settle down' for a story here is a book with built in interest...Lots of flaps to turn with delightful surprises behind each.

Great pop up fpr girls!My 3 year old daughter loves to move the little girl into the various beds on each page. We always have to make sure her feet arent sticking out! If your child likes pop ups and moving paper fun this is an absolutely ADORABLE book to have.

Great alphabet book for little ones just starting out....Great way to keep the attention of a little one who's trying to learn the alphabet.....my favorites are "dog", "ladder" (an optical illusion) and "pencil". If you love pop ups, you'll love this one.

A mystery book w/ 3 ending guaranteed to thrill your child!What a fun book that encourages divergent thinking and problem solving skills! Amazing pop up book details with a mystery the reader must solve using clues that he/she finds. You can reread it three times with different solutions by rotating tabs that change the clues and hence the ending. It is reminds me of all the fun I had playing CLUE as a child. What a great addition to any child's library! Will definitely be read again and again and encourage the love of books as well as fluency. Would be appropriate and fun for a child from 3 1/2 - 9 and guaranteed to thrill even the parent as well. My two boys, my husband and I all LOVE this book!!!

the neatest, most interactive book we've seen!We were so surprised by the variety of "things" to move and do and see in this book! My brother sent it for our daughter as a surprise and we all love the book. The story is about a new bulldozer that the reader needs to help test......check the fluids, make sure the back hoe works, make sure the bucket works, turn the steering wheel and check the gears, turn the wheels to make sure all the parts work together smoothly. Very, very fun and neat book. Just a few words per page but does not detract from the fun at all. Probably better for the youngest bulldozer testers! Enjoy.
