It was so beautifully written I almost started crying! It's so great that anyone could enjoy it! Your heart goes up in the air and flys away from you so fast you can't even catch it by the time your floating on the clouds in a world of love and answers! Even if your an old grump it will change your life from then on!! SPIRIT LIFTING!! PRAISE THE LORD!

This book has a lot of thoughtful insight on how to prepare and lead devotions, and can be used at home, or other places where devotions are used. I would recommend it if you plan on leading devotions, or would like to have some quality family time.

I'm a therapist and lend this book to clients who are feeling hopeless and after just a quick flip to any page they are often hooked. In brief focused chapters there is a lot of excellent information and practical suggestions on exactly what to do to help yourself to get well and feel better. It's a winner!

This is a great little guide for anyone suffering from depression, or their family members. It offers up many practical tips backed by the latest research on brain/biology links to depression. It also discusses how to overcome negative thinking, low self-esteem, and emotional traps that contribute to depression. I took a neuropsychology course from the author, a renowned depression expert from California. Dr.Preston really knows his stuff, but also knows how to write in an easily understandable fashion. This book is written in such a way that someone suffering from depression can actually read and enjoy it, and apply the advice right away. A terrific guide book worth its weight in gold. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most beautiful gifts that we recieved upon the birth of our baby girl! A delightful book that I'm sure will give her much joy in the future.

This book captured my heart as well as my 2 year-old daughter. She was delighted with the many flaps and richly toned warm illustrations outlining the Bible stories she loves. I was impressed with the darling details of illustrations and loved how each Bible story was briefly narrated in a story format in a toddler-friendly tone. References for where the story can be found was another thoughtful detail. The quality of the book, glossy-coated yet sturdy, is a wonderful treat in comparison to the many cardboard-like flap books in the market.

We got this book for our daughter right before Halloween. It really got her interested in pumkins. She is only 17 months, but the way the teletubbies book it written, you can read it along right to her and she can follow right along with the story. It really speaks to them and their comprehension. She likes teletubbies anyway, but this really was a great book to introduce a holiday. The was her favorite book for a long time.

My 2 year old just loves Teletubbies! And being able to flip up the flaps, and play along, makes this book the book she brings to me to read most often. There is also very few words to read on any of the pages. So she doesn't make me turn the pages before I am done reading it.

The best of all the Maisy's yet. Such a joy to read, it is educational, informative, and compelling reading. It kept me hooked for all of the time i read it. Could not put it down and could not leave it alone. And i really couldn;t work out the ending i thought it was the butler!

By far one of the most entertaining series of children's books. My 3 month old just loves when we read all about Maisy and her "adventures". Will be buying more Maisy ASAP!

Very colorful, and wonderfully written. This book is about a little boy Max and his pig. As you turn each page it takes you through all of the steps in growing a plant from the seed to the final flower. Whats better is that each page has some type of activity like moving tabs, pop up pictures or lift the flap. Overall with few lines to a page it is a wonderful story for all youngsters, and its scientific!

Our Children's Librarian used this book for my daughter's ToddlerTime class the day that we planted sunflower seeds, and all the children LOVED "Max Loves Sunflowers." The bright colors, simple line-drawings and movement on every page captured the interest of all the two-year-olds in the class. I highly recommend this book for youngsters; kids can watch the sunflower "grow" from seed to seedling to a huge plant. Very entertaining, colorful, and fun!

I bought this book and "Daddy Loves Me" because I was feeling sentimental, but they are wonderful books for young children. The story is very realistic, the pictures are very detailed and prompt a lot of discussion, and the flaps are intriguing. My 11 month old loves the books and can work the flaps easily. The small size is nice. The books are very hard to destuct.

Although this book doesn't look like much, it is well worth the money. We got it as a gift when the baby was born, and I thought for sure it would be a dud. Was I wrong - my baby loves it. He LOVES to lift the flaps, and knows just where the flaps are on each page. When I tire of reading the same 10 pages over and over, he "reads" it to himself, turning the pages and lifting the flaps. The same publisher also put out Daddy Loves Me and Goodnight Blessings - all along the same lines, although daddy doesn't do as much work as mommy :-); he loves them, too. the pocket size makes them very portable, and the fact that they are board books makes them nearly indestructible. do yourself a favor, and buy all three.

I read this book to my 5 month old baby .He loves it .The pop ups are very pretty and educational i.e. birds, dogs, horse, etc.The words are simple enough to memorize as you show baby the pop ups . The mirror at the end of the book is lovely . The little boy in the book is under the age of 5yo ...so lil kids will love it !
This bookis a great way to begin to teach your child about God and his love .

Before my son could speak & ask for it to be read to him, he would go to his bookshelf & pull it out and push it toward us. When we finished it, he would push it toward us again. We would read it at least ten times in *one* reading session!

The lift-the-flap format really keeps a child's attention; it has wonderful illustrations; great animals for making animal sounds (my son's favorite!); but most of all, it affirms God's love for all.

It reinforces concepts on many different levels: it teaches science (animal life)& what noises animals make; and on a spiritual level, it helps children understand how God's love works.

I bought this book for my 3 year old starting preschool. It was really the best book I've found. My son loved reading it over and over, and he really enjoyed the pop-up flaps. It helped my child prepare for his first day of school. I highly recommend this book!

My daughter is 3 years old and getting ready to start preschool in a couple of weeks. We have looked at several books about starting school and this one really grabbed her attention. There are lots of flaps or pop-ups on every page. The text also gives a nice description of the kind of things that happen at preschool...like snack time, circle time, outdoor time on the playground. She gives it 5 stars!
