This book will help any Christian out

I do a lot of teaching in the area of leadership - this will be a classic - in my opinion. Robert Banks and the many other contributors, come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions. This book was refreshing - in that the writers actually wrote some new and refreshing thoughts. They have truely written outside the box.

The participant's guide is designed to be used in tandem with the video;however, it is so comprehensive that you learn a great deal of background just from going through the lessons. It was one of the best workbooks I have ever used to gain a perspective on what life was like in Jesus's time and how actual archeological findings link the truth Jesus portrayed 2,000 years ago and how we can apply this today. Read it and increase your faith. Give it to others.

Our small church (20 - 30 who regularly attend church) had 12 participants in adult Sunday School when we did this series. This was the first adult Sunday School curriculem we had used in 10 years, and is still the favorite of all that we've done since. It can be used with new Christians, or those who have done years of Bible study. Even my eight-year-old wanted to watch the videos (available from Focus on the Family) with us(although some videos are not appropriate for children). The videos are excellent. The Leaders' Guide is awesome. Wonderful insights into God's love and our response from little-known parts of the Bible, made relevent by modern-day archeaology. I would recommend this series whole-heartedly to any church or group wanting to study the Bible.

I got this for one of my classes and it is great! Lots of ideas and great activities for many ages! Just pick one from the file and BINGO! you have a great game! So buy it, it is worth the money!

Recently I read "Fire in His Bones," the story of Benson Idahosa. As an inveterate reader of biographies and autobiographies I found his story to be one of the most moving and inspiring ones that I've read in a long time.
After a casual Internet search today (5-16-02), I learned that a private Nigerian University has been formed by him. What an outstanding life for a man whose father forbade him to go to school! Read it - you'll be inspired.

an excellent book for both instructors and students alike, found this book a god send when I first Started in the fitness industry. Easy to understand and full marks to those who dedicated their time to writting it. Ps when is the 4th edition out?

Inexpensive but well organized and too the point. Covers everything you need to know to start a Sunday School. For the person who like practical "how to" books and doesn't want to have to read to much.

This book has been checked out & renewed from our library so much I had to get one of our own. Our daughter has named the boy Jack. It's a useful game to ask who is the new animal on this page? Who's running away on this page? Who's after the kitty? Who's before the goose?

We read it every night. I could read it in the dark. A great follow up when you're past board books but aren't ready for a whole paragraph on every page.
