This book is an excellent source of information about the wonderful world of Harleys. It's also compact enough so that you can take it anywhere. It's for the Harley lover in us all.

Although this is a very small book (size that is) the contents are fantastic. For a low price, you get a book with nice photo's and details about the changes from year to year about the different models. Very nice for your library and somehow you keep grabbing the little book...

As the former leader of an emotional support group, this is the book I recommended for people to use in conducting a search. Mary Jo has been involved in adoption searches long enough that she knows how to overcome the many difficulties. Some searches today go very fast, but this book will also help those people who are having a harder time at completing their search. Mary Jo understand the emotions of searching because she is one of "us."

Read Mary Jo's book, join a search and support group, and don't hire the typical private investigator. Searching is part of the healing process!

This book was a godsend! Wanted to find my family and didn't know where to start. This book did the trick. It took me through the process of gathering documents and information step-by-step. Now I'm going to buy The Reunion Book.

The art work in this book is wonderful! I just read this book to a group of 2nd graders and it was a great book that generated a lot of participation from the students. Cute story! I would love to find more books illustrated by Shannon Kinnell, what a talented man! I plan on purchasing this book for my brother-in-law's dental office.

...once I finish it. I'm not even half way through with it, and I've gained so much from it. As always, a book written with scriptural references is a plus, as this one is. All of the things one with low self-esteem may have been told before lie in this book, and once read make such an impact, rather than "going in one ear and out the other" like things told to us by relatives can tend to do. This author can compare in wisdom and talent to male authors such as Phillip Yancey and Max Lucado. even if you've got a lot of self esteem, reading this book still might benefit you. Go for it!

If you think you don't have low self-esteem, guess what you do. Ms. Berry helps you to realize not matter where you come from or your accomplishments we all feel a sense of falling short or emptiness. She uses basic principles (from taking care of yourself, make-up, clothing)to help you to see your self from God's perspective. Ms. Berry also shares her own personal story of how when her husband passed away she lost the one person who always encouraged her, and thought the world of her. Through her husband's eyes she was able to glimpse God's opinion of her.

I have passed this book on to numerous people! All these women have been transformed in their thinking. It is worth your time to check this out.

Beginnings: The Art & Science Of Planning Psychotherapy by Mary Jo Peebles-Kleiger (a psychoanalyst, clinical psychologist, and board certified clinical hypnosis expert) is a thoughtful and informative guide drawn from the author's years of experience in the outpatient department of the Menninger Psychiatric Clinic. Individual chapters address a wide range of psychotherapy topics, including enhancing the patient's ability to form an alliance, reality testing and reasoning, trial interventions and feedback, and much, much more. Advising an integrative approach and offering its resources as a primer and sourcebook, Beginnings is highly recommended and an invaluable addition to any professional or academic Psychotherapy Studies or Clinical Psychology reference collection.

"Beginnings, the Art and Science of Planning Psychotherapy" by Mary Jo Peebles-Kleiger, is a tremendous resource not only for working with clients in therapy, but equally in my opinion, for conceptualizing clients based on test findings. Those of us who teach assessment have long needed a text like this. In beautifully clear and compelling prose, Dr. Peebles-Kleiger combines meticulous scholarship with deeply thoughtful and provocative analyses to create a truly integrative framework for understanding those we wish to help.

I am a faculty member in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Kansas. My specialty is personality assessment. I teach two required courses to our clinical graduate students, one on the "mechanics" of administering, scoring, and interpreting several widely used instruments (e.g., MMPI-2; Rorschach), and a second course on the integration of test findings. In 10 years of teaching assessment and report writing, I have consistently found that gaining expertise in instruments such as the Rorschach and the MMPI-2 is quite challenging for students. However, the greatest difficulty students encounter (and in my experience this is true of even the brightest students) is in developing the ability to integrate and contextualize test findings in a way that creates an accurate, rich and meaningful understanding of "a person."

This process is as fundamental in assessment as in therapy. However, unlike the therapy context in which this often occurs over a series of sessions in which information about a client is accumulated and digested, in the assessment context an examiner must integrate a great deal of information in the form of test findings that comes all at once. To do this sucessfully requires having a broad as well as deep and also flexible understanding of psychological disturbance, and this is just what Dr. Peebles-Kleiger provides in this remarkable book.

I lived in the South for years then moved to Los Angeles and had never been able to replicate the dishes I had grown to love...until I found this wonderful cookbook. The recipes are just what I remember when I lived there and they are easy and simple to create. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone who knows what "family" means.

I enjoyed the "prose" as much as the recipes. The stories were as colorful as the cover! What a novel format for some great recipes.

The Book Club Journal is a must for anyone who belongs to a book club, is thinking about joining or organizing one, or just loves to read. It is as attractive as it is interesting, and would make a perfect gift for the holiday season.

Martha Rosen's handsome "Book Club Journal" gives wonderful ideas about how to organize a book club, invaluable suggestions about choosing books that lend themselves to excellent discussions and sources for research for discussion leaders plus an outline of how to lead that discussion. Everyone is in book clubs these days but the experience is not always as satisfying as it could be; with Ms. Rosen's book readers are likely to feel they have spent their time well--both the reading time and the discussion sessions. It is a great gift for anyone who enjoys reading...a wonderful item as a hostess gift or a stocking stuffer.

If you have a friend who likes cooking, or has a passion for history (or maybe a history of passion), I highly recommend this book as a great gift-giving idea, and for your personal library as well!

I bought four copies: one for myself and three copies to give as birthday presents. One recipient's co-workers were so delighted with the book, that ten of them went out and ordered it right away!

This book is not only filled with wonderful recipes, it is a delight to read. Jo Foxworth gives an informative and often humorous perspective into some of the most infamous houses of pleasure around--most of whom maintained their success with extravagant dinners. With great pictures, delicious recipes, and fabulous stories, The Bordello Cookbook goes a long way toward proving the old adage that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

This is a book that needs to be read by every intelligent taxpayer in the United States. Improving education is a frequent topic for both the media and our political leaders. But this book very quietly points out one of the major weaknesses in our educational system. The abuse of teachers by their adminstration and school boards.

Teachers are the most valuable link in the value chain. They are also at the bottom the totem pole. What way does excrement run?
