This is a book about the research conducted by Royal Rife in identifying and destroying a cancer microbe and the people and institutions who succeeded in making sure you and I never hear about it. You'll also learn about the scientists who worked with him, contributed to his work, and collaborated his findings. I became infuriated and cried many times while reading this book....

Rife's work began in 1920 and by 1932 he had identified a cancer microbe....

Please understand the basic conclusion of Rife's discovery is that bacteria change into virulent forms because of the human host's cellular environment. A toxic environment provides a medium in which these harmless bacteria can become deadly. The bacteria don't kill you; your bad habits do! (Incidentally, he found that this virulent form thrives on pig meat and mushrooms. And another scientists found this bacteria in all chicken meat.) And don't ever believe that our billion dollar cancer industry will stand by and allow you to cure yourself with a thousand dollar Rife box.

This book is incredible. It confirms what I have known aboutthe medical establishment for several years. The research is good andfactual. I read the whole thing in 24 hours. Of course, it doesn't give you the crucial information of where to get these machines, I'm sure to protect the brave doctors who really care about people, but all that is on the web. I worried about it being printed in 1987, that the info would be "out of date", but it certainly is not, especially with the inclusion of the chapter from 1997 which updates the reader some. There is no hipe or smoke screens with this book, just clear and convincing evidence that cancer is curable without chemotherapy, radiation and all the pharmaceutical companies' drugs. Hail Royal Rife!

This book is one of the most amazing stories I've ever read. It's sad to see a genius' work suppressed by those who need it. Fortunately, these frequency generators are still around and being manufactured. I have used one with great success, and I have known other people who have as well. The idea of using frequencies to destroy micro-organisms is so profound, that it is unfortunate that it had to be invented during a time when the world apparently wasn't ready for it. I'm confident that if this invention were to suddenly appear today, as if invented today, the world would react differently, and probably accept it.

All I can say at this time is that Bishop Jakes is a blessed man sent by God. He truly has a heart for the woman that has been hurt, and as for me this book has open up my eyes and set me free from my dark past the inter child that was lost, hurt, and missed used is found and now my confidence and my faith has been renewed so I thank the men of God for letting the Lord work though him. Just to add to what I said because of the book, Iam free indeed there is no devil in hell that can take from me any more I think every woman should read this book they will be set free the Lord thy God is faithful I could go on and on about this book because It is powerful and eye opening a new life will emerge and truth will come I say woman forget about your past. After reading this book,I was totally convinced that T. D. Jakes is annointed and has been prophetically impressed upon by God to reach "women" in a manner in which no other man has done thus far. I would be remiss if I did not give hommage to Bishop Jakes for having the divine wisdom and indepth conscienceness to caringly touch those secret places of a womans' psyche that only God himself knows about. This book transcends all barriers such as ethnicity and cultural backgrounds. When it comes down to facts, women are women, and many of us are faced with similar challenges throughout life. I would recommend this book to every woman! It is healing, and powerful. Though "Woman Thou Art Loosed" will often bring tears to your eyes, those tears will inevitably be the water which surfaces the pain and washes it away. After reading this magnificant work by Bishop T. D. Jakes, I believe any woman would be on her way to recovery from whatever hinders her spiritually, physically or emotionally. I, personally, thank God Bishop Jakes!

This book was awesome! God has covered everything through T.D. Jakes in this book for the broken-hearted. He reminds us how precious we are in His sight. We are created for a special purpose & this book spells it out beautifully! Dispelling all the lies of the enemy, nourishing our souls with God's very own Word.

Jennie's Reprisal by Carol Bennett, is one of the most extraordinary books that I have read in a long time. From the foreword, Ms. Bennett explains to the reader that this is indeed a true story, set in the form of a novel. It is the story of one woman's journey or should I say "one eternal soul's evolution through time." During her nightly lucid dreams, Ms. Bennett assumed the soul of her Great Aunt, Jennie Gravatt, who passed in 1926. Ms. Bennett's journeys as Jennie transversed Atlantis, Ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire, the Dark Ages, the Renaissance, the age of Enlightenment, as well as the Aquarian Age. What is so fascinating, is that the reader is immediately pulled into Jennie's life as Ms. Bennett or is it Ms. Bennett's life as Jennie. The author paints such an incredible sensory experience for the reader, that one can literally forget which century they are actually in, until reality jolts them back to the present! One can feel the gamut of Jennie's happiness, her pain, her sorrow, as well as her sensuous yearnings for her beloved, in lifetime after lifetime. One comes to know the intricies of Jennie's family and we can see how they too, reincarnated into the same family tree. Assuming different sexes in different lifetimes, Ms. Bennett is able to see and "experience" the lessons of that soul's particular lifetime. One of the many quotes that I thoroughly enjoyed, really put reincarnation in its perspective for me - "You can't learn it all in one lifetime. We have to keep coming back until we get it right. Reincarnation is an extraordinary form of purification". In addition, Ms. Bennett takes the reader on a present day journey to discover and uncover her Great Aunt Jennie's family's past history and their connections to her (Ms. Bennett)in this present lifetime. All I can say is absolutely fascinating!! Once engrossed in this tale, you won't be able to put the book down until you too, uncover and discover all of the connections, both past and present. Life does indeed come full circle. So be prepared to not accomplish anyting EXCEPT finishing this book in one day!

This is not only a book about reincarnation, but it is also an incredibly romantic and sensuous love story, which appeals to both males and females. We all have, at one point in our lives, searched for our elusive "better half" or "soul-mate" or as I like to think of it, our "twin soul". "It's even more incredible how a life can be radically changed by meeting that one special person. I realized that there were no accidents or coincidences." Some of us have even had the blissful experience of knowing such joy and love in our lives, while others are still searching. As a woman reading this amazing true tale, I saw the inequities besought upon Jennie throughout different lifetimes due to her gender, yet what was so inspiring and so amazing, was the soul's determination to right those wrongs, to NOT have to do it again. The struggles and hardships were there and through these dark times, the joy and beauty eventually did shine through. We all go through growth lessons and it makes one wonder why life can be so utterly hard and painful at times and why can't we do these growth lessons with ease and joy instead!!!! "My soul followed my heart. Life was not about acquiring things. Life was about experiences that led to growth". Yet it is precisely this growth, this stuggle that enables to soul to grow and shine.

The deep messages, the deep spiritual messages, contained throughout this book will reach into each heart and soul, whether male or female, young or old, and tug at you and linger with you for days. I know that it has for me. I am still thinking about the book and have already re-read parts and have shared this book with friends.!!! The beauty of the book shines though as the reader does indeed learn that love is THE MOST important state that we can aspire to, that we can emulate love and live love and breathe love on a daily basis; yet, ironically it is the same message handed down from God thousands of years ago - the message today in the 21st century remains the same - it has not changed. "There is a God of us all; a Christ spirit. Know that all who live in body are spirits of God. Know that all who live in body are spirits of God. Know that love is the most important thing as we love and experience the joy of loving, we experience the love of God".

Thank you Ms. Bennett for sharing this beautiful tale with the rest of the world, and for allowing us the rare glimpse into one soul's "journey for perfection". Your messages will deeply affect those searching to replace the empty spaces in their lives and hearts and souls with love and hope, and knowing that at times, we don't have to do it alone - it is there for the asking. As the Course In Miracles says, "Only love is real."

This is a book which needs to be passed along to your significant other, as well as your family members and friends - guaranteed, they will be grateful to you if you did. This is one of those books, which will quickly be added to your "must have" collection. Let this book sweep you away and impart its subtle messages into your heart and soul - your heart and soul will be eternally grateful to you! I cannot recommend this book highly enough - you WILL be forever changed!

Jennie's Reprisal is a perfect bound book with a mesmerizing cover photo of Jennie Gravatt suspended in the Universe. The high quality of the cover and text paper are exceeded only by the beautifully written story that embraces romance, suspense, adventure, heartbreak and ecstasy. Carol Bennett is so very descriptive that I felt as though I was right there with Jennie living her incredible journey. I could not wait for my day to end so that I could pick up reading where I had left off the night before. Although I learned a lot, I am still not a firm believer in reincarnation, yet I too "have always liked the idea that when someone dies a baby is born".

The fascinating premise of Jennie's Reprisal held my interest from start to finish.  I really became involved with Jennie in all of her manifestations.  Movement back and forth, from the present time to the distant past, evoked feelings of timelessness.  Scenes are creative and extremely sensual.  A beautifully inspiring book that gives hope for the future!

As the editor of a newsletter which provides information for people suffering from the torment of interstitial cystitis, I try to read EVERYTHING that comes out about IC. This book is an absolute must-have for anyone with IC searching for hope and for real advice on what they can do to improve their health. You simply can't find this information anywhere else. This book offers detailed help on alternative solutions to a disease that conventional medicine can't cure and often can't help. Simone refused to accept the sentence of "incurable" and fought her way back to health. In this book, she bravely shares what she did to help her IC. In a world where people hesitate to say anything due to liability, Simone accepts the risks and flat out tells us what worked for her. Nor does she claim, as some do, that what worked for her will work for everybody. Instead she openly offers the information for the reader to evaluate.

When I reviewed this book for my newsletter, I solicited comments from people who had read the book. The consensus was 100% by ICers that this is ONE GREAT BOOK. I just could not find a single person who had IC who didn't find something to help them in this book. And that includes myself, a long-time IC sufferer who has not responded well to conventional treatments. This book has given me new hope and new ways to take back my life.

This book is also great for doctors who treat people with IC, family and friends of people with IC, and employers. Nobody can read this book without coming out with a better understanding and deep respect for those of us who have this terrible disease.

I saw some other reviews 2 or 3 years ago on how this book had helped other women so I bought it back in the spring of 2001. I had suffered from IC for 12 years. I didn't know what to do to get better - I wasn't improving from medications that I had been on from doctors and I was feeling very discouraged and scared. So, I read this book (along with Along the Healing Path, her 2nd book) and was amazed how much I could relate to Catherine's story and the hope I felt afterwards. I KNEW I had to try some of the things she did to heal. What is great about this book is most of everything she suggests is natural and non-invasive. I have always felt that our bodies should be able to heal without a bunch of drugs and surgery. I was noticing some improvements with my symptoms within a few weeks and I gradually kept getting better and better. It took me about 2 years for the last symptoms to finally go away. Everyone heals differently so it definitely requires patience and believing you will get well. Don't give up! This book also helped me heal the IBS symptoms that I was experiencing for a number of years too. I can't tell you how grateful I am to God for guiding me to Catherine's books. ...

having worked in the medical field for several years, i thought was pretty much informed about many things. after reading catherine's book "INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS" THE MIND, BODY' SPIRIT CONNECTION, i realize one can never be informed enough. catherine taught me that there is always hope for recovery from this horrible disease and sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands to try and get well, listen to your body, it will tell you what to do and what not to do. also that fear can prevent you from doing the things that make you well. i have just ordered along the healing path, i have begun to cleanse my body, and i will keep fighting this because of catherines' wisdom. she taught me not to give up. this book was beautifully written. i felt she was telling my story. i recommend her books to anyone suffering from this bladder disease or any ilness for that matter. thank you cath for all of you hard work and your beautiful spirit, you are truly a god send.

This is a formula book, aimed at people who are already convinced of the existence of their god. It's as realistic as one of the medieval Lives of the Saints, and as subtle as anything from Stalinist Russia, where heroic peasants worked heroically for the common heroic good.

Here a little girl uses the socratic method to "enlighten" her guardian in the ways of god. The character of the little girl will be unrecognizable to anyone who's ever encountered a real child for more than five seconds. This would be acceptable if it were not for the fact that the philosophy is threadbear. Only an uncritical acceptance of second-hand ideas coupled to a second-rate god would make this an interesting work.

The writing itself is workmanlike enough, though this doesn't preclude the inevitable tedium that comes from the subject matter itself.

In other words, it's a false piece of writing, just as hagiography was false and heroic socialistic heroism was false. Spare yourself this juvenile meandering. If you really want to know something about the way god has evolved in the west, take a look at Karen Armstrong's book A History of God. Far more interesting and insightful, and much more capably written as well.

The title wonderfully chosen, the voice and the mood of the author is happy and yet suprised. Beautifully written book, Amazing child, the way Fynn wrote it was like he was still under shock because of the way Anna sees the world, God was friends with Anna, they communicated everyday.Fynn learned so much from Anna. The whole book was a lesson to me and I guess to all other readers, this book teaches about kids that we cannot ignore their intelligence though Anna's intelligence was scary as it always scared the hell out of Fynn. Anna is just a kid that knows God so much, one could'nt argue with her because she knews her story, she fitted into society like a glove. No questions asked that is why Fynn kept her, she was a community builder at her age, changed peoples way of thinking, she was interested in learning new things as well, the fact that she would say 'write it down big' was amazing as you can tell that she was an interesting kid that wanted to learn things that she did not know. Kids do change peoples lives everyday that is why it is always advisable that we spend sometime with them, they are as fun as Anna was. I totally agree with Fynn that she is laughing with God now. this book I will read it over and over again and I will pass it on to my kids.

The first time I read this book, I could NOT believe that it could possibly be a true story. The concepts which little Anna proposes and then PROVES are too complicated for any mere child... right? But then, I realized that it doesn't really matter to me whether or not this story ACTUALLY happened; the truths it contains are what have changed my views of God, pain, sin, and true joy forever. This book not only provides answers to some of life's questions; it also provides the questions.

I think this book has some great points and is a good read - it definitely touched my heart and altered my perspective a little bit (about dealing with men). But the author goes a little overboard with all these metaphors - it drove me crazy! The book is also a little disorganized and repetitive. T.D. Jakes basically tells you what any other self-help book would, except he adds God to the picture. Don't get me wrong - this is a very good thing. As a Christian, it's hard to find books that use God as a backbone for EVERYTHING in a woman's life. But okay, pampering yourself, having diverse interests - that's general knowledge about "loving yourself". I was expecting some more deeper examples about loving myself and loving God. Not the best, but definitely worth reading! A recommended book about successful relationships is "Getting to I Do".

I was really going through a difficult time and I walked into a bookstore and this book really stood out to me. I felt led to buy it and it is worth every dime. This book has really helped me to understand myself and God in a different light. Being single can be difficult;I am learning to let God be my husband. He is healing me! I recommend this book to many hurting women. Mr. Jakes has a way of writing; it feeds the emotions that women can relate too and need. I would like Mr. Jakes to know that his book really helped me. I was engaged three years ago; but I felt God told me to end the relationship and soon after the results were shown to me.God saved my future; He helped me through that pain , but now I face loneliness and decisions. I know by His grace He will strengthen and lead. This book re-affirmed this to me. Thankyou Mr. Jakes and thankyou Lord!

Words can not express the feeling I had while reading and after completing this book. The words used in this book reaches to every exposed as well as hidden area in ones life. You can no longer hide what is within once you read this book along with the others. It ministers to the past, present, as well as the future. God has truly anointed Bishop Jakes. Read this book and share it with a friend. Women of the world will be better if each one reach one.

An excellent resource that explains what works--and what doesn't--to manage chronic sinusitis. The book is written with compassion and clarity and reveals how to gain control over headache, nasal congestion, ear and throat pain, and other symptoms of sinus disease. The surprising new findings on which foods trigger sinusitis and which ones help manage it were especially interesting to me.I highly recommend to all sufferers--well worth the money!

The authors have written an outstanding health resource that explains sinusitis and related problems and then gives viable solutions--medical and natural--to manage this disease. This is an easy read but highly informative and useful to the lay person, particularly with insight on natural dietary supplements and food therapies, along with scientific backing. The book provides readers with opportunities to self-manage chronic sinusitis, as well as sinus headache, ear pain, and congestion. I highly recommend.

Of all the books I've read, this is the best book on using natural therapies to manage sinusitis. It's a terrific book!! The program recommended is easy to use and it definitely works. This book motivated me to finally get in control of the constant congestion and drainage from years of sinusitis. I realized that conventional medication and antibiotics could not always relieve the symptoms of sinusitis. But the vitamins, herbs, and foods recommended in this book help to decrease inflammation. The other complementary therapies help the sinuses to drain, and the saline rinse keeps the sinuses flowing so they don't get all clogged and infected.

The intended audience appears to be students, consultants and municipalities. It is a handy text useful as a review of hydraulic principles and is presented like a text book on hydraulic modeling. It seems particularly well suited for individuals just learning how to model water distribution systems.

Many books written on the subject of computer modeling are written in reference to address specific issues or are prepared by or for the acedamia community and presented in a complex manner. This book covers a wide range of subjects that water distribution modelers typically face in day to day practice. It is written from an engineering perspective, however the concepts are presented in a simplified manner that non-engineering personnel can understand.

I found the simplified presentation of the subject matter to be somewhat sophmoric, which limits the use of the text to fairly simple concepts. However, the range of subjects covered is broad and the concepts presented are accurate. I use the book to get ideas on how to approach modeling different hydraulic elements in municipal water systems.

All in all this is a good reference book to have on hand. I recommend it.

This is one of the best sources of information for water modelers. Chapters are well organized and the information is comprehensive and focuses on the practical aspects of water model development.

Water Distribution Modeling shows why Drs. Walski, Chase, and Savic are considered among the foremost experts in water distribution modeling. The book provides essential information for modelers at all levels of expertise - students, beginners, as well as experienced engineers. Water Distribution Modeling can serve as a college-level textbook or as a bookshelf reference manual.

Walski, Chase and Savic have authored a complete guide to water distribution modeling. All aspects of model development are covered, from basic modeling and hydraulic concepts to more complex issues such as extended period simulations and water quality. The presentation is focused, direct, and understandable. The organization of the book allows a reader to quickly locate specific information without searching through pages of unrelated materials. Basic modeling tasks are explained without "talking down" to the reader. Advanced concepts are described in a clear, common-sense manner that even a first-time modeler can easily understand.

Water Distribution Modeling is a hydraulics textbook, but differs from other hydraulics books in that it is oriented to modeling. The explanations of building and calibrating models recognize actual mapping limitations, field data availability, and monitoring equipment capabilities. The procedures provided therefore apply to the "real world." This same real-world approach is used in the presentation of typical modeling analyses and design applications.

In summary, Water Distribution Modeling is a complete reference for water distribution modelers. It is well worth a thorough review.

This is a good book, but not quite what I expected. I'd heard it recommended for those who are preparing for marriage-- I don't think I would recommend it for that audience. It's more specificially for women already in marriages who are unhappy with the sexual aspect of their marriage, or who don't have a proper understanding of the Christian meaning of sex. Note: not all Christians will agree the authors' ethics, and some ethical issues that one would think were important --such as the use of potentially abortificient contraception-- aren't touched on at all. In fact, I was kind of surprised that the authors didn't say much about pregancy, contraception, etc. Though they talked about how to maintain a sex life when one has kids in the house, they didn't say much about trying to conceive or trying not to conceive! Though they specifically say at the beginning that sex has many purposes, the main purposes they focus on seem to be pleasure and relieving one's husband's tensions. They do deal well with a number of problems and issues within that span, though.

I belong to a Bible study that is reading this book. What an amazing time it has been to fully ingest God's word and understand WHY HE created sex in the first place. Our views of sex have gone from to procreate to do it whenever and where ever with whom ever you want. I think that many of us Americans can say we tried that and what did it get us but some mixed up emotions and feeling in some ways used up? Was it all it was cracked up to be? Perhaps it wasn't all it was cracked up to be because we weren't going about it in the way it was planned in the first place. I always thought Christians or God's way would be for prudes....hello? Have you read the Bible? I hadn't. I had no clue. I had no idea that if you follow God's plan for sex in marriage ONLY that it could be so much better. I had no idea that God commands us to have sex almost contantly! We are only to obstain to pray for a short time and then rejoin so as to not be tempted by Satan? Read the book. Be transformed. I think this book or any book on this topic should be a must for any young couple deciding to get married. Heck, it should be earlier introduced to kids that question sex, so that they truly understand what God had planned...and to abstain not to be a prude, but because the best is yet to come. Renew your mind. Change your attitude. Enjoy God's gifts. These are lessons I have had to learn.

I bought this book because as a Christian wife, I had some questions about what is not allowed by God in the marriage relationship. This book is an excellent source for women who are seeking answers to many different questions about sex and marriage. I highly recommend this book to any woman who is looking to improve her overall relationship with her husband.

This book was a part of my day for the past few months. I took the time to read a small portion of it as my daily reflection/inspiration moment every morning. It helped to center and balance me for the best start, always giving me something profound to think about and vitally important to strive for each day. I also found it relaxing, making me more open to the surprises that awaited me as the day unfolded.

The author's musings and advice are really quite simple: Make your family and children the focus of every day! Find the extraordinary in the ordinary happenings of life. Enjoy and hold dear the magical moments shared with your child as they grow into a deeper awareness of the world around them. Simple, and yet profound, especially in the fast-paced society in which we live.

Her essay on "Peace," I found to be most relevant. I read it not long after 9/11, when I was struggling with what had happened and feeling helpless to change the atmosphere of fear and suspicion that engulfed our entire country at that time. Again, the author's words went right to the point and made me realize there IS something I can do and, as a matter-of-fact, is my responsibility! In a few words, this quote encapsulates the essence of the essay: "In stillness, we find our peace. Knowing peace at home, we bring peace into the world." The dreadful, terrifying feeling I had carried with me for weeks melted away and I was better able to talk with my 12-year old daughter about her reaction to all the turmoil and her personal fears. Together we were able to come up with a plan to help make our world a more peaceful, loving place by starting in our own community.

Providing "balance" is the best way I can describe what this book offers. I highly recommend it to any parent, although it most specifically speaks to mothers. You won't be disappointed.

In this hectic, fast paced world that our children are growing up in....this wonderful book made me stop, take pause and reflect on the kinds of choices being made that fill my children's days as well as their minds. While reading it I kept thinking how ironic it is that our adult culture is currently embracing Eastern cultural thinking and ways of life through the books we've made best sellers...calming fountains we buy to bring the sounds of nature into our homes...even bead bracelets we wear to bring calmness/serenity/good health to our being. Yet what are we doing to our children? Dashing through their childhood from one planned activity to the next and spending hours in front of electronic equipment with no human interaction. Mitten Strings for God made me think hard about the importance of "conscience parenting"..and reminded me of the wonderful things that unfold in life when you slow down. It is a "must read" for all parents. Thank you, Katrina Kenison.

Katrina has written such a beautiful book. I often pick it up to read chapters over again (and the recipes are delicious!). She includes stories from her own life of things that worked and the sometimes hilarious ones when things went bad (cat peeing on the floor and she lost it in front of the children). And who among us hasn't packed our children in the car to see some children's entertainer, only to realize later that we would have had more fun snuggling up and reading to eachother at home? Because she shares her humbling parenting mishaps, it's easier to consider her advice in the stories when she seems like such a perfect parent. She offers practical and thoughtful ideas for slowing down, connecting, and really being present with our children.

This is my favorite book to give to mothers with young or school-age children. Buy an extra one -- you'll want one to loan out so you can still keep your own. Enjoy!
