A very concise and practical textbook. Unlike other new textbooks which are much bigger and heavier and with excessive data, you can actually finish reading a chapter in this book in an hour with a good understanding of the disease. Each chapter is written by a well-known expert of the field, and not by residents or some unknown people.

It is concise and practical. It also has well-drawn diagrams and simulation illustrations for all the head and neck sites. Good description of radiation techniques as well.

Bass does a thorough job of investigating the historical background of what has become tremendously popular in American Christianity, dispensationalism.

Although some try and deny it, Bass correctly traces this back to John Nelson Darby. Such as Charles Ryrie try and deny this, saying that Darby's dispensational scheme has never really been adopted, e.g. by Scofield. However, what is import here is not Darby's dispensational scheme, but rather his hermeneutic, that of literal Israel and the NT church as the "great parenthesis."

Bass correctly shows how premill dispensationalism has followed Darby's lead in this system which pervades their Biblical interpretation. Even one such as Ryrie, acknowledges that Bass' historical development is correct, he just doesn't agree with Bass' conclusions.

This is excellent little book.

A very helpful resource that serves many purposes. It contains practical and concise information in one reference. Handy for both the health care professional and the consumer. A must have!

Wonderful book with much information for both professional miner and layperson. Highly recommended if you have a interest in opals, geology or mining

I have been using this book for several years, and update my book each time a new edition is released. It is a must-have for Medical Transcriptionists, especially those working in specialty medicine. It saves me time and doesn't give me more information than I really need. All of our front-office staff use this version as well to verify medication questions. It is easy to use and has turned out to be a real time saver.

I have this last edition of the Lister's classical book,here you find the very specifical indication in hand's treatment and diagnosis, in some cases you may go to other books and have a very wide field in the pathology and treatment of hand injuries.
Maybe if u are full time in hand surgery you may buy The Green's Textbook, but for a plastic surgeon or orthopaedical surgeon( both in general practice) its a very wide and comprehensive book.

These books are the most commonly referred books for operative neurosurgery in my office. It covers most of the commonly performed operations. Experts in the field describe the details and tricks in how to make an neurosurgical operation successful and complication free. They are particularly useful for young neurosurgeons as practical references. On the other hand, they are also useful for experienced neurosurgeons who want incorporate others experience and advices to build up their own techniques.

A book very well written for leyman, with a deep scrutiny and value of understanding.
The Holy Quran is the Book of Guidance. This guidance is for the whole of mankind and covers all activities of human life. Since science is an important human activity and is an essential one for the progress of mankind, it is natural to expect that the Quranic guidance will address itself to the aspects of science. It is no wonder Quran does it most beautifully. Almost 1/8th of the total number of verses in this book is devoted to science and technology, and Scientific Indications in the Holy Quran brings that to general realization.

Increase your ultimate knowledge learning from the ultimate book. Al- Quran. And best way to guide is Scientific Indications in the Holy Quran.

the other residents in my program are a lot more critical of this text than i. i agree that it is very inconsistent. some chapters good, some very poor. all do not give a good idea of "outcomes", part of the intent and title of the text. it is mostly a " this is how i do it as i am famous" read. however, i must be fair and admit this is probably the most complete recent text on comprehensive plastic surgery. i do not regret buying it.

An excellent reference for first year residents in plastic surgery, or other surgical residents who want to explore the fascinating world of plastic surgery. The third "great compilation" of the plastic surgery knowledge, who substitutes McCarthy's text ,yet McCarthy's is quite more extensive, but a little out time (1990). This could be any plastic surgeon's pillow book...

This is without a question the definative text of plastic surgery. Just look at the authors. Current comprehensive, and well organized. This is a must own. This book replaces my entire plastic surgery library.
