This is the best story I've ever read. I am planning on buying a second copy just because I liked it so much.

Is this another typo? I guess Novell is trying to raise cash (even though this is authored by IDC). I guess my MCNE will be no more if an ebook sells for this much -- how much will Novell's actual product go for? With this price (even though I suspect it's a joke), we'll see more defections to the "dark side..."

Thats more than 200 USD a page! I've (obviously) not read it but at this price it must be good stuff indeed. Did the publishers use their own techniques to decide upon the optimal internet selling price?

Wake UP! $500... for PDF (and its 4 pages... *&^%$^*#) By the way, better start savin' up brothers .... couse our [PB G5] coming on its wayyyyyy !!!!! Also maybe others to followed such as the new replacement (upgrades) for the Epson 2200...

In the year 2143, $500 for a book (no more paper in these times of no trees) is not unreasonable, considering the iPod (the 500 Terrabyte model) goes for $2 million.

In the year 2004, however, I think IDC needs to buy itself a clue -- and a decimal point that goes between the five and the leftmost zero.

Just surfing around after looking in my "Gold Box" and looked at this. WOW! IDC is real proud of this document. Who with greater than a pea size brain would buy this to read it and write a review. What possible value could a PDF have to warrant this price tag? Surely it contains the secret to life or other mysteries desired by imbeciles everywhere. Wake up Amazon! Alchemy went out with the middle ages and get rich schemes are passé.

This pdf must be worth it's weight in dimonds so of course it must be good, anybody want to fax it to me? Heh, just got here from a link from J-walk's Blog.

Thought the price might be a misprint, and it really should be 35 cents, but a look at other books by IDC gives similar joke prices. The book is also only 12 pages!

It's just a download and it costs more than a Tablet PC, why would anyone buy it? Get real...

This is not a book, isn't it obvious? This is some person giving an opinion of the gaming industry in the wrong place. This should be removed.

Who in thier right mind would pay $3500 for a 9 page .pdf oof some guys personal review of Autodesks Market Share in the Mid-Range CAD Market? This must be from April 1st and no one has removed it yet.

$1500 for yearly earnings report? For a publicly traded company, that free info.
