Great product
This CD-ROM is a rich amazing experience. The music is inspiring, the illustrations and animations are outstanding and the information is thorough. The only critisizm I have is about the quality of the video -- an understandable flaw when you consider the time it was developed.

Important Subject, Fine Scholarship
Jonathan Koppell has written a fine and subtle analysis of hybrid organizations, ones which combine elements of the private firm with those of the government agency. He shows how such organizations -- Amtrack, the mortgage intermediaries Fredie and Fannie -- can be harder to control from Washington than regular public agencies. He also explores ways in which hybrids can sometimes be very productive instruments for public goals. This is a first-class study of an increasingly important topic.

Outstanding work in capturing a Sci-Fi legend's history.
The encyclopedia has found a great way to put a legend's past on paper. The written information was astounding. Everything had a neat and accountable description and reference points to that particular item's episode or movie. The pictures and drawings were fantastic! They showed the starships in complete detail. My favorite was of course the ships used be the UFP and the enemy ships at the end of the book, just prior to the index. To the Authors and staff that created this book- KUDOS !!!! It is a book I am glad to have bought and it is well worth the money.

Valuable Tool
Hybrid Marketing is a "must read" for those who want to be on the cutting edge in today's marketplace. Mr. Curtis opened my eyes to another world that was at my fingertips. I am going to buy a copy for my grandson who is studying to enter the field of advertising and marketing.

A very practical guide
This book makes the most sense of any of the books out there about Internet marketing. It reports how consumers use the Internet, as well as other media, to make their buying decisions. Since it's based on consumer interviews, you get facts rather than the author's opinion. Highly practical.

Practical information on Internet Marketing
Everyone's got an opinion on using the Internet as a marketing tool. My email inbox is testimony to that. But Hybrid Marketing is more than opinion. This is the first book I've read that is based on solid, statistically significant research to quantify what works and what doesn't work on the Internet.

As a speaker and consultant on marketing strategy, I'm constantly on the lookout for practical advice on the latest marketing trends to share with my clients. This book is it. For example it shows how consumers are using Internet research before making an offline purchase. Conversely, in other categories, shoppers are shopping offline but then make the ultimate purchase online. Do you know how your customers are using the Internet? It was an eye opener for me.

If you think of your Internet marketing plan as a separate element from your traditional marketing plan you're not being as effective as you could be. A must read for any marketing professional wanting to get inside the heads of their Internet users.

Most Complete Introductory Materials Science Text Available
This textbook is, by far, the most thorough text available for introductory materials science students. I have used this text book both to assist my students in Intro to Materials Science and to review for my PhD examination.

The text examines each topic in its fundamental scientific meaning; then relates it to individual materials. This technique is accomplished in a much more complete manner than Callister's text and is far superior to the material classification approach that Askeland takes.

I highly recommend this text for anyone wanting to review core materials science topics or studying for an introductory materials science course.

GREAT BOOK
A wonderful overview of introductory materials science. It is every bit as good as Callister's textbook, and contains lots of detail

GREAT TEXT
This text is a gem, but not as widely-used for introductory materials science classes as similar books (cf. Callister). However, this book is clear, offering lucid explanations and pedagogically sound diagrams to support the explanations. I only wish this book would catch on at more universities...
