this book is very interting i couldn't stop reading it until i finish the whole book its a good book you guys should get it of you don't have it

This book rules! In fact, this series rules! It's about two girls named Stephanie and Michelle, who enter a modeling contest. Michelle is also in a job in a taco place (so she can buy a bracelet Stephanie wants for her birthday)so, she has to rush from her job ( which is also in the mall) to all the practice photo shoots, the actual photo shoot, ect. and Michelle is driving her sister crazy by always being late! Then by being for the real photo shoot the shoot turns into a total disaster! And the winner is...

After trying the unbelievably bland "Healthy Cooking for Two" and so many other "cooking for two" cookbooks (many on which were written in the 80's) and being thoroughly dissapointed, I cam across this gem. These recipes go far beyond the "take two skinless boneless chicken breasts, bake, serve with cornstarch/orange juice reduction" type recipes which haunt other cooking for two books. Those books often get the "quick, easy, for two" part right, but leave your taste buds crying.

This book, on the other hand, is a godsend. Right from the first soup (an asian soup in which they actually take the time to flavor the broth with lemon grass, carrrots, chile flakes and lime juice before straining) I knew I had found a book that is for those of us who love food.

One thing: don't be scared by the cover! Hardly visually appealing, and the only thing wrong with this otherwise incredible cookbook.

This is a great quick cook book with brief, clear instructions. Get it NOW. I am giving it as a gift to my mother and daughter because the recipes are so tasty. Also great photos. I have not had a single disappointment with any recipe. Go and order it!

This handy cookbook has a wide variety and even includes a vegetarian section. It has some of the most interesting salad recipes that I have seen. And seen they are because there are a lot of mouth-watering photos. Some examples: Autumn Fruit Salad with Pomegranate: Thai Pork, Mint and Peanut Salad; Moroccan Carrot Salad. And the rest of the book is just as creative and good.

There are also special pages in this cookbook: From Freezer to Table in 30 Minutes; Breakfast Meats and Caesar Salad Four Ways. These were a nice bonus.

This is a valuable resource when cooking for two, because a lot of recipes in other cookbooks have to be halved, or there are huge amounts of leftovers. The recipes are easy to follow and are written in non-ambiguous language. I can hardly wait to try more of the recipes, because the ones I have made have been great.

I have fallen in love with this book. It is simply gorgeous the way that poets have taken love and turned it into verses that can make you cry. Any fan of poetry would agree.

This book would make a wonderful gift from one spouse to another. First of all, the book itself is very attractive - it's a little larger than pocket-sized, with red leather binding and a ribbon to hold your place. Secondly, it's a wonderful collection of love poems, and the poems themselves are a varied group: scorned love, satisfied love, unrequieted love. There's something for everyone here. The book contains the more famous love poems that everyone is familiar with, but it also features some lesser-known works that I'd never read before. I have dog-eared so many pages! I can't pick a favorite!

This is an amazing book. It combines everything about poetry, from love to friendship.
I personally loved it, and read a bit of it everyday. Not to mention, I actually keep it by my bedside.
It's a must-buy for those who love poetry!

Detailed analysis of a few each of several different types of pools: lap pools, "natural" pools, indoor pools, famous pools, etc., all in California. Not a construction manual, but full of details worth considering when designing a pool. A must for anyone considering getting a pool on a difficult or very special piece of land.

This excelent book is focused exclusively on design. Very inspiring and unique. Do not expect to find anything about maintenance, it is a book meant for designers. A must for landscape designers and architects.

The photography is fabulous. Many of the pools were designed by the author, but this does not detract from the book. It is well balanced. The chapters include: the natural pool, lap pools, infinity edges, indoor pools, historical pools, among others.

Renovate to Riches is a very well written guide to successful Renovation projects. The book highlights all the important aspects of renovating a home, from the pitfalls to the potential gains. It is valuable to the beginner as well as the professional remodeler, especially the chapter about how to finance your project. The most important component to solid investing is adequate funding, and Sashi McEntee, a local mortgage consultant, details effective strategies to acheive your goals.

I've remodeled and sold several houses and this book is as close to real world as any I've read. The step-by-step approach is understandable, detailed and readable. Dulworth and Goodwin have superbly highlighted one of the few non-taxable investment opportunities available to everyday Americans.

If reading this book produces even one insight for you, the purchase price will have been a great investment. The book is written not by some theoretician who's never owned a piece of real estate, but my two ordinary folks who have practiced what they preach, and done so quite successfully. Learn from them.

Great book to curl up on the couch with!

I work with the youth at my church and I highly recommend this particular Bible. When they created this Bible they did a good job.This student Bible has incites from one of the leading youth authors and leaders Josh Mc Dowell. His incites are PRICELESS. This Bible has life questions for the youth reader to answer and also true and false questions with the scripture references to help youth understand the scriptures. I am 15. I've been a Christian for 11 years. I've read my Bible every day of my life, and God never ceases to speak to me, even when I don't understand some of what I'm reading. I picked up The Rock and God totally rocked my world!! I understand EVERYTHING and it's so relevant to me!! I definitely recommend this!!

This book shines like a lighthouse on a dark night. Young people can be helped in making good decisions if they follow the clearly organized topics. WWJD? Becomes "Now I know what is the right thing to do in my life." Helps young adults to live in the world and not be of it. Also, I regularly read the KJV and when meaning seems muddled I can rely on this version for clear and accurate information.

This book has all of the interesting aspects of the previous two, such as politics and fighting, plus there is more romance though still not quite enough. I am disappointed in that even after reading the first three books of the series I still don't feel like I know the main character. The only other complaint I have is the lack of explanation as to how Niccolo has survived all of his injures without the least problem. Perhaps there is some magic involved? Even with today's medicine, someone with Niccolo's injures would at least have some trouble with their arms or legs. The story is none-the-less quite engaging especially in seeing how Niccolo gets out of all his difficulties.

On this, the third chapter in the Niccolo series, we fin Nicholas has been "kidnapped" by the 'presumptuous' King of Cyprus who is actually trying to recover his kingdom from his sister.

Nicholas is able to help the king and at the same time obtain franchises in his dye works and sugar fields. He meets with Katelina, the mother of his only child, only to lose her once more after they reconcile. Finally, once the island is secure to King Zacco, Nicholas is allowed to return to Venice, where he faces once more his rival family, the de St Pol and Riberac.

In this chapter of the story the author makes great use of description in her scenes and they are so vivid! the characters, the settings everything is so masterfully blended with reality and fiction.

I loved this book and I have already started the fourth chapter. Good!

Dorothy Dunnett never disappoints her faithful readers. This, third in the Niccolo series is a wonderful book that depicts the unsettledness of the Island of Cyprus. We learn that this tempestuous island has always been an important one because of its strategic location. I enjoyed this book, because we actually got to see some of the mask come off Nicolo in his encounter with his Katelina. In true Dunnett fashion, this encounter did not take place in a private and safe bedchamber, but in a place where nature abounded, as well as danger. The history that we find out in this book is also equally interesting and true to what actually happened. This is certainly another great series.

I truly enjoyed this book! I read it slowly because I didn't want it to end. I wanted to keep being a fly on the wall at the White House. More precisely, in the West Wing of the White House. And I wanted to find out what happens between Sox & Flaxen. I want more...how about a sequel...or a movie! Mmmm, who would play Sox? Tom Cruise? Ben Affleck? Vin Diesel? (just kidding)

Roussel gives his characters odd names and I am sure there must be some hidden meaning behind them. The main character is Sox St. Louis. His maybe-love interest is named Flaxen, and Sparta, the TV network correspondent is his media nemesis. The president is named Carl Crayon (that name doesn't exactly instill confidence, does it?). Aren't you just dying to know how and why these characters were named? I am.

Even though Ruffled Flouishes "is a work of fiction and all of its characters and events are imaginary creations of the author" - yadayadayada...you get a real feel for what it must be like to work in the inner sanctum of the White House as the spokesman for the president of the United States. Even the lingo sounds authentic. (And it probably is since Roussel served two tours of duty in the White House under Presidents Ford and Regan.)

For students of crisis management, the transcript of a 40 minute press briefing on pages 73-87 is most enlightening. How White House deputy press secretary St. Louis tap dances around the media, saying just enough to make them think he has said something profound when, in fact, he's said nothing, is a priceless how-to manual.

The book is humorous and a good, fun read. I highly recommend it.

Being a college student often entails way more reading than the normal American can stand, but with "Ruffled Flourishes" I didn't mind it at all. Roussel's charming and witty writing style kept me intrigued and roaring with laughter. The constant stress between the main character, Sox, and his romance Flaxen is addictive. Sox goes through many self- realizations during his time in the White House, and his journey is indefinitely an enjoyable one. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fictional accounts that have striking resemblance to the real deal. Way to go Sox, I mean Peter!

This hilarious yet endearing story about life in the White House was just the kind of reading that I needed right now. It was written in a style that I could understand and enjoy, while cracking me up on every other page. Who would have thought that life in the White House could be so amazing? Peter Roussel has truly written a credible novel, and it is nice to have a dependable source these days. I admire this book and the man who lived it and then shared his story with all of us. I highly recommend Ruffled Flourishes to all.
