From the opening pages to the very end, this book is loaded with information. From the early years, up until the year it was published(1992)it has everything. Lots of stories, bio's, and pix. A must for the true ac/dc fan. Definitely add to your library.

This book is an absolute must-have for anyone who plays the guitar and loves the timeless music of AC/DC. The songs transcribed are true classics and the arrangements are predominantly note-by-note accurate. Granted, most mere mortals don't possess the speed or technical abilities of Angus Young, the incomparable lead guitarist, or his rythem-playing brother, Malcolm, but with perseverance and practice, this book will bring many hours of smiles and maximum riffing. A hearty Angus fist up to this book!

I'm glad I found it!!!!! A much better source of info than anything I've seen floating around on Tab sights! On another note, its an interesting piece of memorabilia too because of the numerous 80's photos with the late Eric Carr. The only flaw? No bass notation.

This book is excellent for learning the riffs of RATM guitarist Tom Morello. Troy makes it much easier to understand how to emulate Morello's guitar playing. I've tried learning Rage on tab websites but none of them offer the totally correct versions of the song. Stetina is a master at making anyone understand how to play. This is book is very challanging so Id recommend it for intermediate guitarist. The CD is very very helpful especially for learning the rhythms of the songs. WOW cant say enough good stuff about Troy Stetina! If youre a rage fan and you want to learn Morello't style search no further.

Eric does a very good job of using pictures with people or cars in them to show the scale of just the small parts of these machines. You will be taken on a pictorial journey of the assembly process of some of the worlds largest earthmovers.

Each chapter brings a different type of machine covering many makes. If one particular machine is featured there is always equal time to the other manufacturers. You are not lead to believe that what is in the book is the biggest or best of that type of machine. If another manufacturer has built something larger or just a little different it is mentioned or shown. Very fair and unbiased account of all machines.

Eric manages to find some of the best pictures in the earthmoving industry that you will ever see.

I'm a big fan of caterpillar. Let me tell you, your going tolove every thing there is to know about the king of machines. i love the books and stuff. So if your a cat buff, then get this book. Tells you every thing about the caterpillar sixty.

I found this book helped bring a deeper appreciation for the war my Dad never talked about and how it changed his view of the world forever. obviously a highly intelegent author with a grasp of the pulse of classic tractors in australia.this will be one of many books written by mr johnston on my bookshelf.

Packed with lots of great color photos, this book will be a welcome addition to the library of anyone who is fascinated by cranes and the work they do. The book covers all kind of cranes: cranes, crawler, truck mounted, even small utility cranes. The book covers all the major manufactures and has excellent descriptions. An excellent reference for those interested in building scale crane models as well. The book isn't very technical, but very entertaining.
